Leo is Fixed Fire & Capricorn is Cardinal Earth – they’re not officially ravingly compatible as their Suns form a “quincunx” angle of 150 degrees. Adjustments need to be made & it’s like – say – a square aspect (eg; Gemini square Pisces) where they bicker a bit but there is usually intense chemistry & similar temperament. A quincunx between your Suns and you run the risk of being simply irrelevant to one another. Like Cancerians & Aquarians…
But when these two work together, they work brilliantly. They turn the stupid quincunx into a golden trine – flowing together like some sort of holistic It-Couple installation. David Bowie & Iman are a Capricorn-Leo pairing & they always seem ludicrously fab.
I think what Leo-Cap need to work is a major work ethic & an area of their own to shine in. It won’t work if the Leo is one of those low-rent louche Leos who thinks only in terms of having enough to get stonkered with. So if the Leo is not stoned on the couch watching Fantasia & scoffing Brie whilst raving about shit he/she can’t afford but wants, then this is brilliant. And the Capricorn can’t be the insanely stingy kind of Cap. Because Leos are truly generous spirits and they freak way OUT at meanness of spirit.
