” Singing about the Valley of Sunsets
Green and blue … Canyons too
Singing about Atlantis love songs.
The Valleys of Neptune is arising.

Mercury liquid … Emerald’s shining
Telling me where I came from –
Honey Sun … Tourquise Bed he
lays in — … on the Burning
edge Horizon.

I’m sailing on the Bluebird’s mission …
Bubble and curls and tiptoes in the foam –
See the wind make love to all
the ocean … Joy spread and
the message got home –

Singing about the Valley of Sunsets …
Purple and gold … the Armies of the Lord
Before ancient Egypt, there were moon trips …
The Valleys of Neptune is arising — “

The Valleys Of Neptune is the title track of this “new” Jimi Hendrix album being released in March. I love how actually insanely Neptunian the song is – all intoxicated, idealistic & yearning for other-worldly meaning.  Ancient Egypt, moon trips, Atlantis, alchemy references – brilliant. I am suddenly getting Jimi Hendrix. I just thought he was a Pluto-in-Leo-generation icon.

Now get this: Hendrix was a multiple conjunct Saggo – Sun, Mercury, Venus & Sagittarius all rising. Rad-Saggo for sure. But Neptune rides high in his chart and it trines a Saturn-Uranus conjunction in Gemini. It also sextiles his Sun-Venus but Neptune trine Saturn-Uranus is innovative, gifted and multi-dimensional. A major legacy.

What i love about this is that Uranus is about to oppose Jimi Hendrix’s natal Neptune. And Saturn is on his Neptune right now. So he’s having a posthumous album (Neptune rules ghosts) called Valleys of Neptune released during a major Neptune transit. That’s super-Neptunian.

She is a Cancerian Mood-Swinger who works as a stylist at the Large Hadron Particle Collider (the scientists are expecting some media attention) and she took some weird shit back from a lab, hoping it would help her seduce her strange Aquarian lover. But he’s just morphed into a Reincarnate Atlantean after shes sprinkled even just a bit of the God-Particle powder into his chardonnay.

That or a kickboxing Libran with the shits at some wallpaper that suddenly DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND W.T.F. WAS SHE DOING LETTING AN ARIES DO THE DECOR JUST BECAUSE SHE FANCIED HIM.

Return Of The Lost City – by Clive James

How far was Plato free of that “inflamed
Community” he said we should avoid?
Sofas, incense and hookers: these he named
Among the habits not to be enjoyed,
And if you did, you ought to be ashamed.
But can’t we tell, by how he sounds annoyed,
That his Republic, planned on our behalf,
Was where his own desires had the last laugh,

If only as the motor for his sense
Of discipline? Even the dreams were policed,
By the Nocturnal Council. Such immense
Powers of repression! What would be released
Without them? The Republic was intense:
The fear of relaxation never ceased.
Hence the embargo on all works of art,
However strict in form, that touched the heart.

No poetry. No poets! No, not one —
Not even Homer, if he were to be
Reborn — could be admitted, lest the sun
Set on the hard-won social harmony,
And that obscene night-life which had begun
In man’s first effort at society,
Atlantis, should come flooding back, the way
The sea did, or so story-tellers say.

But Plato knew that they’d say anything:
For money or applause or just a share
Of an hetaera, they would dance and sing
And turn the whole deal into a nightmare.
The very prospect left him quivering
With anger. There is something like despair
Haunting the author of the ideal state,
A taunting voice he heard while working late:

Atlantis made you. It is what you know,
Deep down. Atlantis and its pleasures drive
Your thoughts. Atlantis never lets you go.
Atlantis is where you are most alive

Yes, even you, you that despise it so,
When all mankind would love it to arrive
Again, the living dream you try to kill
By making perfect. But you never will.

Hmmm. Well this is part of a new collection called Plato’s Atlantis, which immediately makes me think of some fabulous poetry & the enthralling idea of what constituted chic in ancient Atlantis. I personally do not think Plato would have cared for these shoes.

So they are studded with turquoise – the Sagittarian gemstone but would a Saggo appreciate shoes so difficult to run in?  There is some glitter in the mix which makes me think Pisces or Virgo trying to glitz up the greige.  Serious F-U heels is tres Scorp. Could this be Lower Gemini? As in something Delia Antwerp Aaars would wear – very, VERY difficult to drink in, i would imagine. You would have to retain serious focus whilst wearing these things. It would be easier to imagine that you are landing a space shuttle, as opposed to forgetting yourself and trotting off down the stairs to the loo whilst trying to yell an inappropriate anecdote. Libra would find them unbalanced as hell. They would send my Virgoan Osteopath into politics, all the better to get them banned. The designer himself is a Piscean.

I am thinking only La Leo would have the requisite combo of nerve, batso chutzpah, status awareness and aplomb to pull these on. Your Thoughts?

Hello to Mars in Pisces. Hmmm. I did a previous, more thoughtful & serious, post about this but today i am more cheery & cynical about it. Mars in Pisces = men being pass-agg & maybe more dipso than usual. Venus-Retro in Aries: women are mega-bolshie about the whole damn thing, taking no relationship crap whatsoever.

Also, Mars in Pisces opposes Saturn (early April) and then conjoins Uranus in mid-April. The former aspect will show up which of our leaders really haven’t got the ticker to manage the current times. The latter shows up who the avatars and innovators are. In everyday life, a lot of peeps who have been holding it together will weaken. This is not meant to be ravingly negative – just a reading of the astr0-weirding du jour.

Tackling the Saturn stuff head-on helps us access the innovative Uranian blessings. You can’t get to Uranus without going through Saturn. And Saturn = getting a grip, maturity, self-control and discipline.  Mars in Pisces is visionary but v.easily lured off into escapism and/or self-pity. But the early part of this transit (the next seven days) see Mars strengthened by a sextile from Pluto and the Sun/Mercury still in Pisces. Make thy plans soon & stick to them. Vow now not to be over-whelmed by chaotic people or an overly emo atmosphere.

Lindsay Lohan: …You know, I was with this guy Jerry Inzerillo recently, who was running the whole Atlantis [The Palm resort opening celebration] in Dubai. And when I saw him, he started complimenting me, telling me how I reminded him of these other actresses. I literally just sat there . . . He was just saying these really nice things to me that people don’t really ever say, and I started crying. I was like, “Oh, my God, I’m so sorry that I’m crying!” But I was just so emotional about it . . . I’m a Cancer, which means I’m maternal and emotional. So in relationships I’m screwed.

Lauren Hutton: I’m a Scorpio with Cancer rising. I don’t really know what that means.

Lindsay Lohan:  [laughs] I don’t know what it means either! I just know that Scorpio is a little more dangerous than Cancer, but that could actually be really balancing.
