Okay, I have only ever driven a Porsche once & now I don’t even drive at all – Mars-Uranus conjunction can be a bit reckless with machinery. T’is not a good idea.  And it’s sextile Neptune.  ANYWAY,  my point is this: The current Mercury in Leo opposite Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune in Aquarius situation is an astonishing energy. It reminds me of driving a really powerful, potentially fast sportscar. Like the feeling when you put your foot on the accelerator of a Porsche & it’s like you could just flex  your big toe and it would do something fuqing full-on.

It’s an astro-energy whereby it’s fantastic for manifesting brilliant things & thinking way Over The Top as you goal-set but it’s ever so teetering on being completely bonkers. And peeps who are astro-sensitive CAN feel this so exquisitely. eg; this morning i was sitting there, still with the sage & lavender compress clamped to my forehead thank you very much & having a whole host of BIG ideas & then i had to stop myself from actually making a few calls – you need to put some things off until the mega-sane Capricorn moon next Monday.

So scheme grandiosely & be brave et al but back off before taking strong action today, especially if it in any way could be traced back to your ego. The lower end of this Astro-Weirding is egomania fuelled by Aqua-bats truculence..Go with the bold envisioneering & faith bit of it. Don’t slam your foot down on the pedal…Strategy would be a fine thing & it’s not the forte of Leo or Aquarius.

So – how are you doing there on the New Era Eclipse styled insights?  I feel like I am having trillions of them, only not enough time to analyze them. But that sensation is considered normal under such stars. It’s an intense but positive transition and ducking the insights/omens/ideas just feels turgid.

If you are feeling a bit like this – see above – remember that it is the Dark Moon right before an amazingly strong New Moon Solar Eclipse & that it’s good rest, process & rest some more…Action is ALL on from the New Moon & next week’s squares from Mars and Venus to rad Uranus et al…Oh there is HEAPS going on…So rest up before the New Moon Solar Eclipse!

trump_02_thepriestessThe High Priestess in the Thoth Deck

In a Tarot reading, the High Priestess popping up means there is a secret, a mystery behind the query and/or a karmic situation that you cannot understand yet. It can mean that something clandestine is about to emerge. Of course there are way more esoteric interps for the High Priestess. I am tres simple with my Tarot readings. But it’s always bliss to see  her. It may also be a sign to be comfortable not knowing the meaning or outcome of a scenario but trusting that there is a cosmic intent behind it.

If you see The Empress as the sensual aspect of the Feminine Divine, then the High Priestess is her more mystical aspect. A.k.a La Papesse, the Lady Pope…this links her to the fascinating myth (?) of Pope Joan. In the classic Waite pic of her, below, there are pomegranates which link her to Persephone & the headgear a la the Egyptian Isis.

There is a statue of her in a Welsh village called Portmeirion

And even though he’s apparently gone bust,  Christian Lacroix managed to send a homage to her down the runway the other day; Nice as, actually, he is a Taurus & this is the astro correspondence most oft linked with the High Priestess.

* A D.I.Y. Chanel Paper Bag, as seen at the Milan Fashion Fair or something – that is SO achingly Pluto in Cap…The Craft edge, the ironic homage to a luxury brand. Are the days of mag headlines/coverlines a la “Must-Haves” or “You’ve Gotta Have It” or “To Die For” gone forever? The word luxury means “of the light” – is it being redefined? Uranus is heading into Aries soon – super D.I.Y. – and the last time Uranus was there, this was written - still SO relevant & inspirational…

* The Sagg Kickboxer says the Fitness Industry, as opposed to most others, is UP 30% this year. Why? People cannot afford to be hungover and non-alert so they relax via endorphins from exercise as opposed to the pub? Survival of the fittest? They are so stressed they need to go and bash up a boxing bag to feel okay?  Guilt/Motivation from Saturn in health-aware Virgo?

* I always knew those Easter Island statues (soz, Rapanui) were hiding something with that inscrutable smirk of theirs. And now it seems that the SOIL on the place harbours a potential life-extension miracle substance which, if it pans out, means that soon 120 will be the new 80. Or something. Will this mean peeps such as Madonna will turn their attention to this area? Would an Easter Island/Rapanui Mud Pack Masque be the go?

* The Solar Eclipse Astro-Queries are coming along nicely – it is SO much more fun for me to get the charts already sent…I just open & gaze at the patterns. Bliss. I am aiming to have them all out by Monday afternoon Sydney timezone…So that you have time to prep. If you are not getting one, then there is the very simple version of how to prep for the Solar Eclipse on July 21/22…Before then, get rid of all THIS:

Also over the weekend – Venus glided into Gemini. Let the games begin! Venus in Gemini definitely aerates the romantic atmosphere a bit. It’s been yonks since we have had Venus in an Air sign. Not since September 2008. So enjoy the lightening of vibe.

Between July 22 and 29, the love goddess makes a series of sensational aspects; a square to Saturn, trines to the Auspicious Aqua-Weirding that is ongoing till Feb 2010 and a square to Uranus. This ought to trigger all sorts of interesting carry-on. It will be an interesting “tell” of the Saturn-Uranus opposition exact in Sept. And Mars  – in Gemini  from July 12 – follows hard on the heels of Venus…

This is one of the reasons why it’s worth going hardcore with all the Capricorny-Saturn in Virgo pragmatic stuff now…because the last week of July is SO Venusian and will be such fun, especially hyped by a big Solar Eclipse.

saintseiya09sagittarius_2

It’s a totally rad Saggo Moon – for reasons I have banged on about in the Scopes – but it’s on the eve of an Eclipse & so thus is imbued with all the usual sportif Sagg gregarious optimism & restlessness. If you can hack it, it would also be a fantastic time, albeit cathartic, for a bit of this:

9-10-255122-51-50

Yet you’d  have to get it out of the way before Venus goes whizzing into game-playing Gemini…Brad Blanton is a Virgo, btw.

wonderwoman

Yes, there are Fixed Squares all over the shop – the trickiest kind as they tend to make one feel irritatingly stuck and then one’s thinking just gets into a stupid rut. And it’s kind of ongoing till apres Eclipse – next Weds. All the old-school advice applies: Stay calm & carry on. Count thy blessings. Semper Fidelis.

Oh I could do some lovely “birth pangs” metaphors but i’ve got my own fuqed squares shite to deal with; you always knew the week leading up this Eclipse would be challenging. Do the old-school stuff and remember I said somewhere or other that as the looming Lunar Eclipse is in Capricorn – and the ruler of Saturn is in flexible Virgo; make plans, do lists, don’t succumb to feeling stick. Keep busy & grizzle-not. And…Uranus is WELL aspected in the next few days so go with trying to work the Saturn-Uranian axis, rather than being stuck in this tres temporary sensation of stuckness, stagnation and irriation.

Having said that i admit to having just wigged out as some idiot put put my sports bras in the dryer & the underwire’s warped so I can’t wear them & haven’t budgeted for new ones…Soo trivial but symbolic. Small things are enough to send peeps bats today and for the next few days…Perspective is a fine thing…

somedayYellena – Someday

Oh happy days of Saturn in Virgo.

Leaving aside some of the more trad malefic angles, let’s just roll with the concept of Saturn as Great Teacher for a nano. And of course, Saturn in Virgo is particularly preachy. The current phase of Saturn has been going on (and on and on) since September 21 2008. And we get into a new Saturnine lesson in mid-August. But for  now, have a think re what you have learned, the real-life wisdom you have won hard and  how you have evolved since that last September.

Seriously, work it out. I guarantee it is way more than you’d imagine at first – but you have probably been too busy doing all the slog figuring things out & battling away to think about  how far you’ve come. Like – this is a hoary old Saturn metaphor, I know – when you are climbing a mountain or a huge hill and don’t notice how high you’ve got as you are too busy pushing yourself.

Jupiter ( the groovier teacher) is stationing retro this weekend & any planet is always more powerful at this point so it’s a good moment to actually warmly & benevolently assess the progress made between last Sept & now. Track it & be amazed…And if you are currently flippo over the non-stop Saturn-lesson, clock-watching et al, think of the New Moon in Leo on August 20 as  your spectacular breakaway moment.
