Your “astro-signature” is your Ascendent (aka Rising Sign) Sun Sign and Moon Sign.  This is totally arguable but they are the three most dominant points in your chart. And what’s fun is seeing how well they all get along.

For instance, you can see that having – say – Moon in Leo with Sagittarius Rising would be like a party. Moon in Leo would love the Sagg Risings ability to scare up a good time & Saggo Rising would love the take-anywhere nature of Moon in Leo.  Add in the Sun in Libra for some smooth elegance and voila…a harmonious astro-signature. No discordance.

A Taurus-Pisces-Virgo blend? Easy.

But what if you’re an Aries Sun hiding behind a sultry Scorpio Ascendent? More tricky.

So thinking about the potential relations between your Sun, Rising and Moon signs is an interesting way to think about your chart. Plus it’s easy as well. You can turn them into characters & imagine their dialogue.

I DID this once ages ago, with planets, at some sort of astro-gestalt thing. It was sort of interesting but ghastly.  People had to act out someone’s chart and you should have seen how horrid the person playing Saturn immediately let himself get. Venus just whined about her needs not being met and the character playing Mars got the shits and stalked off to smoke furiously outside.

I have Sun in Pisces, Libra Moon and Aquarius Rising so am fairly easy-breezy most of the time but with sudden eruptions of Piscean psycho-dramatic passions & emotions that really embarrass the terribly rational Moon & Rising…

I am re-posting this from last year FYI…

Sooo, it’s St Patricks Day again.

I don’t have any Irish blood – the love of potatoes must come purely from the German ancestry – but St Ps day is interesting.

There apparently was not one actual St Patrick & the “driving of the snakes” from Ireland was totally a metaphor for the Christian conquest of Paganism…There is loads re it on the web…

Briefly, the shamrock was apparently a symbol of the triple goddess and pagans often wear or decorate with snakes on St Ps day as a quiet little up yours.

These days are also ancient festivals of Dionysus….& Bacchus

So, it seems clear – wear something with Snakes on it to honour the poor persecuted Pagans of yore and drink wine to honour Bacchus and Dionysus. If you don’t drink, you can just do the over the top libidinal aspects of Dionysus and Co.

Yes-yes-yes Mars is Retro for a few more days & even when it DOES go direct, it stays at Zero degrees of Leo for days and the Moon is Dark again…Astro-sensitive peeps are probably even sensing Saturn moving into opposition with Uranus again already…

But this is Mars going bats in LEO and the Moon is soon Dark in CAPRICORN so you know what that means: You keep up appearances & the show goes on. Keep dancing, smile, don’t look down…

The Saggo Moon has but one message of the moment…

Fuq Sloth. Get out and do something. Anything. Or go bats. Especially with Mars right at the arse end of his Retro in Leo. Enough with the navel gazing, secret flake outs and seethingly intense “planning.”

Move. One foot in front of the other. Exercise. Dancing. Crapping away in a bar so long as you can move around and don’t have to talk to one person for more than ten minutes at a time. Just move.

Plenty of time to worry about biz when the Moon is in Capricorn early next week AND Mars goes Direct AND Saturn starts to really oppose Uranus already.

Realism in relationships? That’s taken care of too…Venus will oppose Saturn. But for now? Venus in Aries trines Mars in Leo and the Moon is in Sagg. Move.

The Chariot is one of my favourite Tarot cards.

Whenever it comes up, it means that you’re moving on, making speedy progress and doing it in style, with relative ease. I love it when it pops up in my Flash Tarot readings because though it’s a card of change, it always feels sort of luxurious, dignified & right. Plus the Chariot tends to manifest quickly…Like trudging around a wet roadside, no means of transport outta there & suddenly – voomp – there is the Chariot, a speedy, luxurious and relatively easy means out of the swamp-like place. Depending on the cards around it, it can also indicate that something suddenly picks up and moves along more quickly than you would otherwise expect. A promotion, the deepening of a bond, your business…It’s got loads more esoteric meanings too…

A Sagittarius Off To See Her Accountant…?  No? Where do you think the Saggo is going?  I swear, i.r.l. those legs may or may not belong to a Sagittarius but they ALWAYS have the best legs. It’s weird. How does having the Centaur as a symbol manifest that? Or is it all the jagging around?

The Moon is about to be in Scorpio and squaring Mars right at the most intensely seething point of his retrograde in brazen Leo.

Mercury is sextiling Pluto. Venus is conjunct Uranus.  Ladies & Gentlemen, this is game ON. Squares between Leo & Scorpio are always power-trippy. Mercury-Pluto is intense dialogue and thinking. Nobody is without motive.

Venus-Uranus, as I have already gone on about,  is sudden, electrifying and eccentric.

It’s got a slight Spanish soap-operatic tinge to it but with a whiff of genius. Never Complain, Never Explain. Given the Leo-Scorpio angle, I’m thinking inscrutable but with great hair.

AND the WINNER of the Astro-Gaga – What Sign Are They – Libran Fembot competition is FIRE-TRINE.

Fire-Trine, please e-mail me to claim your prize of a three month Alpha Mystic Subscription…it includes access to Daily, Weekly and Monthly Scopes, the Saturn Girl Day Scheduler & the Daily Mystic e-mailed to you Monday to Friday.

And subscriber-peeps, the Weekly Scopes for the week from March 6 are up now.

The Piscean Kittenkaboodle would annoy most Pisceans. Yes? And a Pisces annoyed is a Piscean gone off-planet so far as the person whose annoyed them is concerned. Also, what is it with the expression on the face of the Piscean Kittenkaboodle? Sort of vacant but intent upon something. A bit scary. Mind you, my Mars in Virgo is intolerant of stuffed and soft toys (dust, mites, clutter) except for extremely classic teddy bears for the under seven-year-olds. But really, even for non-Mars-in-Virgo types, doesn’t the Piscean Kaboodle look a bit intense and alien?

Art & Ghosts

When the Moon moves into Libra and starts to conjoin Saturn/square Pluto,  one naturally thinks of one’s secrets. But because it’s a Libran Moon, they can seem quite elegant, more like delicious surreal things to be weirdly cherished…Still intense though.
