x14156October 17 was the birthday of Elinor Glyn, sensational writer of clit lit in the early 20th century…She coined the term “it girl” and pioneered bonkbuster fiction…Had seriously scandalous & interesting personal life AND did bloody well for herself…Her Mercury (always the first thing to look at with such successful writers and cultural stirrers) was opposite Neptune…She had a fantastic Grand Air Trine involving: Midheaven in Aquarius trine Sun-Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Gemini…Total sense for someone so unconventional and yet break-thru.

Venus was conjunct Jupiter and the North Node in Scorpio/the 6th house – really apt for a woman who made her fortune by working hard her whole life long about sex & love + expanding the societal possibilities.

picture32Next week is the New Moon in Kataka (a.k.a. Cancer) and it’s Zero degrees, opposite Pluto. So, super-charged fresh beginning qi. It’s exact at these times & it would be a fab to do a little ritual around if poss. Not that, personally, i ever manage to get up for these super-early New Moons.

London: 20.36 Monday June 22

Sydney: 5.36 am Tuesday June 23

What you do is find the part of your chart where Zero degrees of Kataka/Cancer actually is & think about a major renewal in that area. You can go to Astrodienst, & figure it out from there. You are looking for the Cancerian glyph:

And – you are after Zero degrees so look at the house cusps to help you find 0 degrees. The house it is in has it’s own little personalised New Year next week! Fourth House Home & Family of Origin. 9th house; travel, philosophy, politics, academia…even peeps who are currently far away. 7th Significant relationships. 2nd $$$ & values…1st House; self image in relationships, your Look….Third house: siblings, neighbourhood, communication. 5th house; fun & creativity, children, fertility, 8th house; sex, the occult, debt, metaphysics…10th house; career, public image, 12 house; soul sector, secrets…6th house; health & admin…efficiency!
