Okay, I wouldn’t wear this but somebody would and it’s vintage for just $85 USD. Apparently the material is mega-rare, i’d love it as a dressing gown!
Here we go again! A three month complimentary Alpha-Mystic subscription to the person who comes up with the funniest Sun Sign and back story combo for this pair.
It’s actually Leo supermod Carolyn Murphy doing a sort of ‘older wimmyn’ scenario…the lingerie annoys me though. Is she meant to be 100 and in mourning? I know, I know, it’s fashionable.
Anyway, from the Astro-Gaga Point Of View, I am thinking that she is actually one of those Libran Fembots everyone’s going mad for right now and he’s a Saggo who’s stalled it by mistake and now he’s frantically skimming the instruction manual, wondering if he should text his Virgo mate who actually knows how to READ instruction manuals.
Remember I had a theory that Uranus in Aries would have to do with really thrillingly batso methods of travel, such as jetpacks?
Well, I still think that but get a load of the Skelebike – aka the Deus Ex Machina…
Apparently, as you get faster, it tilts you horizontally for your own safety and to up the speed.
Hands up who’d use one if it were given them as a gift?
Astro-Cliche or not, Crab-Peeps are the WORST clutterers and hoarders. They cling tenaciously to even the most naff bit of memorabilia, clearly inappropriate clothing from centuries ago and non-needed administrivia. And I ADORE Cancerians but this trait irks my Mars in Virgo. So now it seems that Lindsay Lohan is to get her apparently hideously cluttered home uncluttered on American television.
Despite all the allegations, craziness, non-knickers-wearing, dionysian revels, flake stuff, I still love LL. Okay, mostly because of Mean Girls, which was a long time ago. But wouldn’t it be unreal if the big clean-out helped to fix her life up? That image above, btw, is of her bedroom. Lindsay has a hardcore Mars in Capricorn with Pluto gliding up to conjoin it in a few years time. There ain’t nothing like a Pluto-Mars transit for streamlining your life and getting thy merde together.

There is an underlying serenity in the atmosphere as Jupiter gets off on being in Pisces (one of the signs he rules along with our Saggo) AND the Venus trine Saturn in Libra vibe is tres composed and worldly. BUT the Moon is in Aries and impatience reigns. Fast talking, fast thinking and w.t.f. do you mean ‘please can you repeat that?’ Come the weekend Taurean Moon and tranquility will reign along with strategic patience. Moon in Aries doesn’t give a fuq about patience. It’s like ‘get to the point already.’
Okay so I have banged on about this in the Scopes & the Daily Mystic at length but, briefly, this is the sort of Full Moon Eclipse that would have had the ancients merrily bunging up their drawbridge & perhaps stationing a few extra guards around the place.
Retrograde Mars Rises, Saturn & Pluto are in square, Venus + Pluto and the Sun are opposed/eclipsed…the Full Moon is in the emo sign of Cancer & the whole thing tends toward muckraking, grudge flashpoints and definitely a poignant stirring of any unresolved feelings. Less poignant would be if you are in a relationship repressing a virtual tsunami of torrid unaddressed irks re security, shared $$$, sex and fertility…
Oh and Retro-Mars rising can inspire twits into lower level assertiveness.
The good? Oh well, high-Qi emotional breakthroughs & awareness, perspective of course. Still, I shall be cocooning, for the days around this Eclipse…It’s strong from right now…Keep a vast artists pad close at hand to scribble stream-of-consciousness findings and your major aha moments. Think especially in terms of freshly understanding your personal history, how/why things happened the way they did.
If you want to get really astro-fiend/cosmic about this, apart from the general catharthis it’s like a confrontation between the patriarchy and the feminine divine…Not only is it the Cancerian Full Moon (Artemis etc) opposing the Sun (Apollo) in the Saturnine sign of Capricorn, the chart for the Eclipse just oozes Saturn squares (reality check to the max, ready or not) AND Mars opposes Lilith…
Stay serene, keep being gorgeous, enjoy your insights & see you on Jan 4…& THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE IN 2009…also, all you subscribers & peeps who got cosmic consults – thank you for helping to keep this site naff-advertising free!!! xx
Heh-heh & here we go again guys!
Mercury is Retrograde from Saturday 26th (early AM Sunday for Sydney peeps) & it is Direct again on January 16.
This is actually really cool timing as many of us will be having some sort of a rest & it’s brilliant astro for re-appraising Capricornian matters – stability, tradition, endurance, your business plan et al. Saturn goes Retro in early Jan so there will be Mercury, Mars and Saturn all inward-focussed. Fantastic strategising energy…Batty love affairs flare up too but don’t expect men to pursue whilst Mars is Retrograde.
Oh and till mid-Jan is also unreal for editing, revision and taking care of business such as tooth & bone a.k.a. osteo/dental. Superb health jagging energy.
There will be a Mercury Retrograde Book Club operating over the Retro phase as well…
Jupiter, the officially most lucky planet of all, usually keeps pretty regular cycles. For ages now, he has whizzed into a new sign around about Jan/Feb and stayed there for the year. It’s gotten so i think of particular years in terms of where Jupiter was that year. The Chinese Horoscopes coincide with it – eg; Many a Tiger has Jupiter in Pisces. Snakes are Jupiter in Taurus peeps. And so on.
But Jupiter goes a.w.o.l. in 2010 – whizzing through the first two thirds of Pisces with alacrity and straight into a severely sensational conjunction with Uranus at Zero Degrees of Aries. This is major for many a reason. I go on about it in my book & I will go on about it here as well. But what’s interesting is that Jupiter covers one whole sign (Pisces) by late May and then into Aries and then back.
Why is this significant?
Jupiter is awesome. He’s a.k.a. Zeus, King of the Gods. Ancient astrologers called him the Greater Benefactor. Even astronomers admit the planet Jupiter (a.k.a Jove) plays a significant role in protecting Earth, helping to bounce dodgy/scary asteroids from our galaxy. And it is very rare that Jupiter winds up traversing one 10 degree bit of our Zodiac for ten months. There are 360 degrees. Jupiter usually covers 30 degrees in a year. Not to mention that it’s the part of the Zodiac where it ENDS and where it STARTS.
The timeframe is from April 2010 until Feb 2011. It’s good to be aware of where this is in your chart as it’s where the main (and rare) chance is to be found. Angelic, profitable…where you both show and expect largesse.
I’m looking forward to it HEAPS as Jupiter will be going back and forth across my Venus, Sun and asteroid Psyche….AND actually, even though Jupiter does not exactly oppose Saturn when it goes back into Virgo in April – it will nonetheless ameloriate the austerity. I am going to be following Jupiter like mad in this time – like it’s a racehorse or a lucky star – because it IS.
Late May and the first week of JUNE – when Jupiter approaches Uranus – is especially auspicious, drastic and dramatic. Pantheistic, global developments for the greater good that kill off vested interests who don’t give a merde about pollution, starvation, iatrogenesis…? It would be fab, as we then move into a stunning Uranus-Pluto-Saturn T-square situation: better to act to clean up under the Jupiter influence than to leave it ‘to soak’.
Geopolitics aside, the Jupiter cycle from April 2010 to Feb 2011 is your own personal Jesus-Isis-Miracle moment. Astro-Fiends can do it for themselves – look to your chart between 23 Pisces and 3 Aries. Never mind any aspects other than conjunctions. If you don’t wanna figure it out for yourself, you can get help in the comments stream if you’re lucky (and Jupiter is) or it is included in my Serendipity Cosmic Consult.
