So now the Moon is Dark (ie; right at the end of her Moonwane) and in Capricorn, so setting off the Saturn-Pluto Square that is one of the key themes this year.

If you’re not feeling the fabulousity of the Auspicious Aqua Weirding (the rare and beautiful Chiron-Neptune conjunction) it may because you’re trying to ignore a Saturn-Pluto reality…most likely something to do with a merde health habit, quasi-hysterical financial policy or desperately dysfunctional relationship but you’re sticking it for reasons not so much to do with sentiment/loyalty as fear and so-called convenience.

You see, Chiron and Neptune are beyond the bounds of Saturn so if there are Saturn-Girl style issues to look at, Saturn blocks the cosmic light.

Otherwise, if you’re in tune with Saturn, this Moon feels pretty damned good; a lot of finishing up ye olde biz, dealing with deets and actually toting up accomplishments. The low-ebb bit of it comes because you just don’t truly want to go all out in decadence mode. You’d rather work late or at least let your bod work hard for you doing cell renewal whilst you wander the realms of Morpheus, dreaming grand visons & doing your dark-time psyche work.

Look, we all know how difficult it is to buy presents for Virgos. A Virgoan trying to gift another Virgoan is a study in anxiety and neurotic nit-pickery: Too itchy, too cheap, too costly, too synthetic, not sending out the right message, too naff, too trendy, not quite right so right after my hyperventilating flip out in the mall lavatory, we’ll go spend another four hours getting the Right Gift and no, a voucher is never acceptable.

That’s when the Auspicious Aqua-Weirding will really get going. Remember, it’s a New Moon near to the amazing (and rare) Chiron-Neptune conjunction: brilliant breakthroughs and sudden (positive) changes. Get with it but rejuvenate now.

Oh and there’s a sexy Venus-Pluto sextile next week as well. You may as well restore your glow along with your sanity. And big changes you’re pondering or already doing are enduring – no need to rush it all now.

This is Sienna Miller and Jude Law out the other night. I think they deserve credit for so lucidly manifesting one of the main themes of Mars Retrograde in Leo (till March 11): Sex with ze Ex. And blatantly so.

They’re both Capricorns & so presumably able to totally grok one another’s Pluto transits. Also, Capricorns need for things to be “even”. So his thing with the nanny is balanced by her thing with the married guy.

If we’re tracking this fling-thing purely on Mars, then it’s done by about mid-April (when Mars back to where it is now) and with some spectacular Leonic style bolting to boot.

So hands up who else is fooling around with their Ex to celebrate Mars Retrograde?  Maybe it should have its own Mardi Gras.

So I saw Princess And The Frog & adored it.

As you have maybe read, it’s a return to Disney’s Golden Era values: hand-drawn animation, real story & a brilliant soundtrack: jazz, blues & bayou stomp style sounds. It’s set in New Orleans in the 1920s.

But what i also appreciated about it is the authenticity of the magic; the Tarot is in there, a sacred Evening Star (Venus, only called Evangeline a la the old Hoodoo tradition), a necromancer and a more benign witch who lives deep in the swamp, with genuinely witchy decor. Seriously, the way they’ve styled it draws on a whole lot of ancient myths.

All they’ve got missing is Come To Me Oil.

This current Chiron-Neptune conjunction (the fabulous, magic one) is bang-on her Sun so presumably she feels quite happy reading (if she bothers) articles suggesting that Brad is terribly unwell due to being hideously unhappy (that beard is a cry for help, no?) and that Angelina is getting set to turn herself into a Princess Diana character with a more “statesman-like” partner.

Jennifer’s got Libra Rising (wow would she hate Brad’s beard or what?) and a sensational Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Libra that is about to have Saturn go over it. So v.innovative new career stuff in the next two years. Plus she’s got Mars-Neptune in Scorpio…super calculating & strategic.

Right now, Mars and Saturn are Retrograde. And linked in such a way that they could work awesomely together in tandem.

Given that these are powerful, action-planets & that Saturn lends wisdom to the oomph of Mars + their being retrograde is about a revision, it makes sense to look at where they are in your chart.

Mars is at 6 Leo and Saturn at 4 Libra. ie; the very early degrees of these signs. Find which house (chart sector) these are in your chart and think about what to do with that area of life can be ruthlessly revamped and with great glee.  Because that’s the kind of energy it is and it’s totally worth tapping into.

Think: Extra willpower, elegant control and chic assertion in the areas of your scope/chart/life where you have early Leo and early Libra. Also that the arena for this steely evolution is one that has been activated since early last November.  And that you’re kind of stuck at this point, going back and forth until you totally get something. Like, REALLY get it. Grokking the issue du jour.

Think this through enough and you will get an ‘aha’ moment.
