April 7 and Pluto goes Retrograde whilst on April 8 Saturn slips into something a little bit less comfortable – that’s right: Virgo. Hair shirt and all. Saturn in Libra may be weird but it’s exalted. It’s like a Gothic dance that they do.

But forget Saturn for a sek.

The reason I mention Pluto now is that the planet-of-transformation is already in slo-mo, getting set to Retro back to 2 degrees of Capricorn…

Whenever Pluto stations Retro or Direct, it zaps out Plutonic rays of psycho-weirding and it is as if circumstances conspire to make you do a bit of psych work you would otherwise have happily left undone. That’s right. Not done at all. Why even bother? But when Pluto stations Retro, you look back to where you SHOULD look back.

Poignant reminders that we are in a new era now evoking quite intense & exquisite nostalgia for the old one. It’s Pluto, so there is always some major psych insight to be had from it…but still.

Think – if you dare – in terms of Pluto Eras: 1995 until early 2008,  1984 to the mid-90s…I could go on but need to go take some Pluto Juice.

Happy New Moon in Pisces!

Note that it is conjunct Mercury and Uranus, truly fab astro for fresh starts and sudden bolts of brilliance. Above is Thoth, The Egyptian Mercury/Hermes, said to have bought all true knowledge into the world. Thoth-Mercury conjunct Uranus – a planet more aligned with Prometheus is totally gifted.

The New-Moon-Sun-Mercury-Uranus lingers all week & it is a fantastic time for reinvention, whizzing off pitches & innovating your way into a new paradigm.  Intuitive powers are maxed out.

Muggles reveal themselves like you would not believe. Your light is their irritating glare…if you get what i mean.

If you are doing New Moon resolutions make them rad & if you know your chart, theme the vows to be aligned with the area of your chart where late Pisces lurks. eg; 25 degrees of Pisces.

Saturn, my new life coach, has now seen to it that i have given up coffee – often intended and sort of tried but now essential as coffee apparently spazzes out Saturn Neck to a ludicrous degree.  So, no coffee. And no lurking around eating chips, drinking wine and discussing Jung either. Too many painkillers in system.

I am thinking that the point is to do the Saturn bit right (i should have had a proper chair for sitting at my desk typing but thought that a bit beneath me but now realize, thanks to the life coach, that it is GOOD to honour oneself and one’s work with a proper chair) and then you get to the cooler Uranus bit.

Yes, the Saturn-Uranus opposition is biting. It’s not exact until the end of April but I am calling it now.

The ideal: Uranian energy blasts away at frozen, Saturnine Status-Quo…Uranus vibes always come in sudden oh-my-godding moments of three…Saturnine energy creates a better base for the genius to thrive…Lots of change and endings all around – some exciting new beginnings too.

And THANK YOU For all the beautiful comments and posts re my Saturn Neck!  I hate whinging but it was such a help to read them all, truly…

“It’s his heart I want! All those little girls with no education will not take it from me. I would not be so calm if I saw some pretty woman of the court or the capital trying to conquer it.”

“Her decision was made; she would defend herself without pity and without scruples. From now on her life would be, as she was to say, ‘a perpetual combat.’.  From Madame De Pompadour, Mistress of France.

Venus is in Aries, the sign of Mars and with Mars flamboyantly out of action.

How does Venus go in Aries?

Well, respect is a big deal, of course & the reading material is less likely to be some self-help book and more likely Sun Tzu’s Art Of War…especially Part Three: Attack By Stratagem.

Venus in Aries is the iron fist in the velvet glove, every single trick in the book employed to bring about the fulfilment of her desires & you are either with her or else you are against her.

Beauty-wise, Venus in Aries is about the power of the overtly sexual image. Nothing subtle. The strategy is shock and awe.  In settled relationships where a woman is not getting that much attention, Venus in Aries wreaks havoc. There is a need for not so much attention as worship.

High maintenance? You betcha. And it’s until the end of March which is when Venus will move on to plough the more tranquil fields of Taurus.

This June, Uranus gets into Aries for the first time in 84 years. Uranus has not actually even changed signs since 2003.  Aries is the sign of derring-do and Uranus of sudden change & drastic eureka flashes. This is going to be major. So, my latest Astro-Confidential is Uranus In Aries Confidential: The Future Is Here And It Looks Like Fun.

It includes sign by sign raves re the likely benefits of rad Uranus for you personally, the most important dates (Uranus Square Pluto, can you believe it?) involving Uranus in Aries for the next few years & generally brilliantly useful info that you can refer back to at anytime. Essentially, you HAVE to be innovative where Uranus is going to be in your scope. It’s also worth thinking about and getting with the soon-to-be breaking trends…For your biz or just because you like to be cool.

When Venus meets up with Uranus (the Goddess of Love with the God of Divine Chaos) an interesting time can ensue. Venus is nearly there right now. This aspect perfects by Thursday evening but permeates the whole week, regardless of your timezone. Venus-Uranus can bring relationships quickly into being and they can shatter apart just as quickly.

People want electrifying connection & haute meeting of minds, not dullard obligations. Things that have been tolerated for months suddenly become intolerable. Strange attractions flare up. Interestingly, Venus opposes Saturn next week so that is like the opposite to this Venus-Uranian energy. It’s by next week (that quickly!) that you’ll see how viable a relationship or prospective little fling is.

This week? Love is weird but hopefully in a good way and you can’t really do a single thing to control it. In fact, attempting to control Venus-Uranian energy is a guaranteed flop. What you can expect? Interesting courtships, artistic zing, the urge for a more unique look, love of unusual art/music/decor, the re-entry of a.w.o.l. suitors (though Mars Retrograde ameloriates this to a certain extent) and fascinating new flirtations or more sparking up.

Venus rules beauty. The most popular look du jour would be something alternative dimensional…You know, alien but not green or with tentacles. Other worldly and non-controlling. Venus-Uranus can also be sudden reversals in romance. Also, this is Venus-Uranus conjunction is followed by Venus in aspect to Saturn, Mars and then Pluto…all in the next 12 days…Fun. Action.

Hey you gather that the Aries Moon is good for grandiose goal-setting???

What is your Year of the Tiger resolution?  Where are you going to be more fierce?

The Auspicious Aqua-Weirding that has been strong since last May is now ebbing away for the moment but it’s thankfully back in July to accompany us for the next Saturn-Pluto Square.

There should have been one magical happening/insight/concept over the last few weeks. Something Haute Aquarius, hi-Qi, redolent with optimistic faith and healing…

Glomp onto it now. Define it. Own it. The atmosphere gets more Saturnine over March as Saturn backs into another (sigh) opposition with Uranus.

If you’re interested, Uranus rules Aquarius so the major insights etc of this past few weeks helps with the Saturn-Uranus challenges and reconfigurations starting soon…

Symphony Of Science

YOU may have seen this but i just discovered it & it’s so beautiful for the Chiron-Neptune Conjunction.

Carl Sagan was a multiple conjunct Scorpio:  Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Sun all in Scorpio AND a tight Mars Neptune conjunction in Virgo. So a mega-haute Neptunian, mining the mysteries of other worlds and alternative dimensions. As some of you know, not every Mars Neptune conjunction manifests so beautifully. In fact, especially in a man, it’s one of THE potentially gaga aspects to watch for. But not here.

Carl Sagan’s Uranus was in late Aries conjunct the Mars of Stephen Hawking (also featured in this clip) which is kinda cool. Hawking has Saturn conjunct Uranus – amazing blend of innovation with structure. V.appropriate for someone creating a whole new structure of science. AND, astro-fiends will find this interesting, Hawking has Moon-Neptune in Virgo.

So two amazing sci-brains with very strong Neptunian signatures all over their charts…Yes Uranus too but Neptune is strong for each of them. I love that. Pragmatic visionaries.

The Japanese phrase Koi No Yoken apparently refers to the sensing of an impending love affair: perhaps at first meeting or maybe just a feeling that you are about to encounter someone out of the norm. It’s v.much of the now as Venus sextiles Pluto on the eve of a magical conjunction between Chiron & Neptune.

Anyone with even a nano of intuitive brain cells is a sex-psychic this week. Ditto shamanic healer of ancient love wounds and all.

So, who is  sensing what? And how fab is the combo of Venus-Pluto AND haute-minded Aquarian weirding.  Passionate AND intellectual. We should operate a hotline or something.

And spider dreaming? Common at the moment. Why? No idea. Last night i woke up to distant thunder & rain, looked out the window and there was a giant classic mandala style cobweb glistening in the light from a streetlamp. Huge, like going between the houses and half way across the road huge. Still don’t know if i dreamed it or not but I’m taking it as a good omen.

Remember Rules For Retro-Mars in Leo?

It’s all still so valid but i want to add one thing…It’s not just your Leo Ex whose name will come up in some interesting fashion. If you have an Ex who is a male, then he’s floating about…In your dreams, in your e-mail in-box, in your hairdressers (the latter just happened to me) and well, just around…Let it be instructive, not an excuse for Full Moon dipsomanic & dysfunction.

Venus in Aquarius is opposite Retro Mars in Leo. So if you are a woman (Venus) then you channel the Haute Aqua Composure. If anyone’s head is to be fuqued with, let it be his head. Because you are so poised…
