Martian Mercurial

Mercury is now in action-Aries and trining mega-Mars in Leo. Some ideas:

* Faster talking.

* Impatience.

* Men are more daring.

* Ideas zip from the subliminal mind at the speed of light.

* Suffer fools? They should all be interned for the duration of Mercury in Aries.

* Brash ideas cranked out and whizzed off to about 1000 peeps at once, who all run the risk of being struck off the Mercury-in-Aries contact list should they not respond within more or less nano-seks.

* Big-noting.

* Winking. Seriously, monitor winkage. It’s always about more when Mercury is in Aries.

* Gutsy mission statements.

* Interrupting.

* Batting out of your league but w.t.f.

Think about it. Mars just back from that retrograde a.w.o.l. trip really needs a bit of a pep talk. And whom better to deliver that than Mars in Aries. Mercury stays in Aries till early April and then goes into Taurus just as Saturn goes back into Virgo. April will feel quite diff to now. Live it up.

Grouched Up Aries

So I note some Aries peeps grouching it up in the comments.

I’m sure I said this before, maybe only in the Daily Scopes but anyway here it is again.

Last week Venus in Aries squared Pluto, this week Mercury in Aries  squares Pluto and next week the Sun in Aries squares Pluto. These are all harbingers of the squares from Uranus in Aries (major) to Pluto that are key themes of the next few years.

So it’s not supposed to induce angst but they are subtle omens of impending change which can feel a bit unsettling for sure.  It’s actually stirring all the Cardinal Signs; Aries, Kataka, Capricorn and Libra. Libra has Saturn in their sign and Capricorn Pluto.

If you are any of these signs, you kind of need to be reading the Astro-Confidentials featuring Saturn, Uranus and Pluto…because they’re all over your sign from mid-year and beyond. Especially if you’re born in the early degrees of your sign. Phoenixing to the Max.

Remember, another way of thinking about Cardinal signs is that you’re like a Boss sign. You get shit happening.

Mars In Leo: Late To The Set?

Great Demons, reading an in-box full of grizzling with a crook neck ain’t easy.

I never said Mars Direct would deliver you your rose garden, studly soulmate, hand-crafted box with a million $$$ cash inside it and holy secret of enlightenment.

Noooo. But DO admit that there was some sort of shift last week, when Mars moved. I felt it. My neck felt it. And just watch how quickly things gather momentum as Mars picks up speed.

General notes on Mars in Leo: It’s a show-offy vibe. So if you’re making new plans, you don’t bother keeping them secret. You tell the world. Or if there is a good reason to keep them secret, you luridly relay all to your confidantes/court sychophants or you pace luridly about in a suitably Leonic scheming gown…

Things are happening, things are moving…rather than fretting up into such a frenzy that you wig out, do the oh-my-goddings great insights thing with the New Moon coming & compulsively groom your way out of any funk. And besides, Mars is not only still moving quite slowly – albeit forward – it’s Mars in LEO….Being sextiled by Saturn.

Do Leos move fast? Or do they take a long time to get ready? Does Saturn slow things down or speed them up? Things are happening, they will soon speed up and you’d better be ready! April is quite the ride.

Venus-Pluto Voodoo Strikes Again

So, as if Saturn hurtling back into opposition with Uranus, a Dark Moon and Mars flamingly direct again is not enough to contend with, voila Venus in Aries square Pluto.

It’s both a prequel of late May and a harking back to last December…hot & karmic, v.sexy…Mercury does the same dance late next week so that’s the communication aspect of what is more clandestine now.

Venus-Pluto always feels amazing for budding or emerging-Qi (yes i just had acupuncture) relationships – v.stimulating in all regards but it is hell (like anything Plutonic) on stale/stagnant situations.  I know a few peeps in relationships that they say should end but that they can’t for various practical/sentimental/whatevs reasons and they always go ape whenever the Moon or Venus touch Pluto.

It’s raw. Fun for authenticated individuating types – hard on lies and pushed down emotions. Look around you for examples of feelings that can not really be disguised, negative & positive.  I’ve been overhearing the surreally skanked up domestics on the streets. Yick.

Short Version: Blame your libido on Venus-Pluto if you like and yes, things are heating up. If you’re stagnating, non-stop bickering and proud of it, it’s only going to get grottier…From here on in. The Venus-Pluto square is like a little taste of Uranus square Pluto…

Dark Moon In Aqua

Baking a cake is always a good cure for the Dark Moon but this one is in Aqua, so it would need to be a cake of some weirding.

This Moon is opposite Mars so perfect for emotionally processing recent Mars Direct insights & yes, they’re there all right and mostly re men, fathers, ex-lovers, men of the past, men of the future, men-men-men, your Animus if you are a female, brothers, sons and all of the Mars issues in your life, such as summoning up courage to go forward when you need to, shut up when you’d rather mouth off.

Dark Moon in Aqua is also a beautiful detached lunar vibe & the trine to Saturn brings some prudence but not of the variety that feels like a drag…And Merry Mars Direct!!!!

I actually had a dream of such power that i awoke literally at the moment Mars went Direct & yes the dream was a la a male in my family with whom i have enjoyed an estrangement for some time AND it coincided with an amazingly crook neck.  Sometimes it is hard not to believe in that psycho-soma stuff about your body mirroring the mind.

So i got to lie there in the earl am with Deep Heat fumigating the room, thinking deep psych thoughts as the bats fought lorikeets for nectar  in the tree outside my bedroom.

That’s super-Dark-Moonie, no?

Oh and while the Moon is in Aquarius (ruled by Saturn AND Uranus) which it is now and all Friday no matter WHERE you are in the world, think about the next swing around of the Saturn-Uranus opposition. Apart from all the stuff I have banged on about already, think about the potential of Uranian consciousness to bring about a swift thawing of Saturnine frost…Unsticking something that has become the status quo, not necessarily because of how great it is but just because it kinda got stuck there over time.

Cat People

This Dark Moon-Retro-Mars Business is now making many of us a tad terse….Yes?  It’s only a few more days so I am thinking that the best way through it is for us all to become Cat Peeps.

Any existential thought can be brushed aside in a bout of compulsive grooming, stretching and/or elegant musing upon our next meal. Hunting is not permitted (Mars Retrograde) but gazing at birds flying past and fantasizing about leaping ten metres in the air and stopping the stupid bird mid-squawk with one bolt of feline genius is fine. Isn’t that what cats do?

Other potential diversions:

The Bastardo motorbike from Walz Hardcore Cycles - suggested for Pluto/Uranus transitting people & all strong Mars-Aries types.

Campaigning to have Pluto restored as a proper planet. Saggos usually love a good protest but they may be too sore at Pluto after that 15 year extravaganza of Pluto in their sign. Aquarians would probably enjoy this and they may feel it will gain them some good cred for when Pluto gets into Aquarius in 2024.

Hanging out in your sofa boat, refusing to take any calls but acting sorta busy. Maybe you’ll call it a Directions Meeting. This would be an Earth Sign thing.  My theory is that, at school, Earth signs were always the ones who never got in trouble, even when they started stuff and managed to always look busy…even when they were shamelessly bunking off.

Soaking in your transparent sided-bath with the gold trimmings & needing only for the maid to periodically pop in to adjust the temperature and pour in more flagons of fragrance, fresh lavender & dead sea salts.

You know what?

Mars & Saturn are both Retrograde and they’re in a sort of sextile…This can evoke some v.useful opportunities for pragmatism, especially re dealings with corporations etc. A military mindset, applied toward positive ends and all that.

But it’s also a guaranteed formula to evoke any bad Dad shite you might have lurking within. Or even a good Dad, but with wasted potential, thwarted psyche urges & well, you know the drill. I’m not a shrink but Mars-Saturn Retro means mining the Daddy Dearest nostalgia vein will hit psychic gold real fast.

So hands up who’s doing about a 1000 things at once, heated right up now that Venus is in Aries, pissed off at how a certain something seems to be in slo-mo AND is doing father issues on top of all this?

Yes-yes-yes Mars is Retro for a few more days & even when it DOES go direct, it stays at Zero degrees of Leo for days and the Moon is Dark again…Astro-sensitive peeps are probably even sensing Saturn moving into opposition with Uranus again already…

But this is Mars going bats in LEO and the Moon is soon Dark in CAPRICORN so you know what that means: You keep up appearances & the show goes on. Keep dancing, smile, don’t look down…

Mars At The Zero Leo Point

For various esoteric reasons, Mars just sitting on the Zero Degree of Leo, as he has been from March 1 and will be till March 22, is quite profound. It trines the magical Zero Aries Point, for a start. Never mind. Just see it as focussing the mind somewhat. As well as been madly frustrating. Like revving an engine but you’re not going anyplace. Or endless copulation sans climax. Still, it ain’t as bad as that interminable Mars in Taurus Retro we had in late 2005/early 2006 that squared everything. At least with Mars in Leo, you can hype your ego and get a lot of manicures whilst hissing your latest “policy” to anyone still listening or even some paid help.

Now two things: If you have NOT got Martian Bats, you really should consider it. Mars in Leo just carries on and on until June. Scroll down the page to see the Mars bit. If you do have the password, please re-read it as Mars is just peaking now and until March 22. Even though its direct next week, it stays stuck on the Zero point.

Secondly: Apart from Martian Bats and all that info, you can look to the part of your personal chart where you have Zero Degrees of Leo and consider just absolutely blasted with Mars energy (heat, guts, gorm, glory, fury, lust, irritation, Qi, etc) for the next SEVENTEEN days.  Yes, it’s only been five days with Mars going batso at Zero Degrees of Leo. This is also the point he was at back in mid-October, if that is of interest. So events/emotions etc from then are triggered…

Venusian-Uranian Woo-Woo Again

Ladies, with Venus Conjunct Uranus, women are at their most alluring when weirding in and out.

Stay spacey.  Besides, Venus-Uranus is a zap of romantic/artistic action but Mars IS still Retrograde.

So just be zippy & Uranian – a little bit off-planet, doing thy own thing – you can show off credentials, intent, your feelings and/or successes next week when Venus aspects, sigh, Saturn.

For now & tomorrow, sci-fi is the new etiquette of dating & related enterprises.
