It’s only $100,ooo USD and the Aqua-Lounger is apparently reminiscent of the way more expensive submarine whale watching experience offered by various underwater hotels etc. I THINK that is the point. It’s like a budget submarinal experience and without all the stress of actually being underwater. Only it’s canned water & I’m presuming there is no aquatic life in the lounger…Apart from SEA LICE? O.m.g. and hideously strong Feng Shui Water placement if you don’t bung it in the right spot?

Which Sign Would Covet This Thing?

* Wealthy Stoner Sagg?

* Aries Root-Rat Trying For A More “sensitive” Seductive Pull?

*Piscean Heiress For The Guest Room?

No way would an Aquarius want it. They’re currently channelling a Shaker-Quaker aesthetic .

Pierre Cardin’s house is totally how i imagine a trillionaire Crab would do things up…Very homie, lots of soft cushy spaces to blog out in, a womb with a view…pools of water & no hard angles. Crabs – you like?

Okay, maybe the cleaners had been the day these pix were taken because see how there are no Crabby collections anyplace? Or maybe he just collects houses? Cancerians are, as you most likely know, the canniest sign of the Zodiac and the most likely to get wealthy. They say P.C. invented the whole concept of fashion branding…

Also, what is that sculpture at the far end of the room? A Wedgewood motorbike? DO you think he actually hangs here or in a secret, lace & antique infused apartment someplace with the shades drawn?

Can’t remember where i found this pic but it looks like a Piscean bookshelf to me. Though the stuff in front vibes more Gemini…Thoughts?

And if anyone wants to send me a pic of their Sun-Sign-Typical bookshelf, i may post it here by way of comparison.

I’m naturally hoping for Capricorns with vast How-To-Get-Ahead collections & Scorps erotica tomes…Taurus – cookbooks, Cancerian – self-help. Aries – thrillers starring a character clearly based on the Aries…

UPDATE: apparently this image is from The Selby and it’s the bookshelf of Peaches Geldof who actually IS a Pisces…Cool. And here are some of the ones sent in…

Multiple Aqua…She left the dead spider there as it next to ex-lover’s book. Is some batso Aquarian version of Feng Shui?

Something Fishy….Okay all Pisceans read Jung? What does it mean when you stack the books horizontally as opposed to them being verticle?

Two Taureans. So you see there has to be a means of making music, a slightly tribal vibe, sensuality (the rug) and objects d’art amidst the books…

I think we should do Bathroom Cabinets Of Leos & Librans, lol.

Architectural Digest

Here’s proof that Librans truly DO think pink.

This is the Bermuda dining room of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas – a multiple Libran couple. Both are actually born on the same day of Libra: September 25.  So they are actually having a hell of a Saturn-Pluto transit right now and until August.

Seriously, how pink is this place?

Okay, here goes.

This should yield some interesting results.

Citing your astro-signature (Sun, Moon, Rising Sign but you can be as fancy or as simply as you want), which of these two bedrooms would you prefer to be yours? Or, which one does yours most resemble. Each are from houses featured in swank shelter mags so don’t imagine those books, above, are dusty or naff.

I’m sick of trying to even THINK about Mickey Rourke’s astrology.

The man has about three majorly different birth years out there in the culture. But he is definitely a Virgo. So, yes. And here is  his apartment in New York, courtesy of Architectural Digest.

That thing on the mantelpiece is “an 18th Century Bishop’s Head.” So okay, I am PRESUMING it is a sculpture, though i would not put anything past Mickey Rourke.

And here is his master bedroom. It seems VERY ornate, for a Virgo, even a Virgo movie star. Thoughts?

The Scottish Male Virgo Cleaner is actually how he advertises himself!  He’s in Edinburgh, if you’re interested;

“…I am an experienced Deep Cleaning Specialist. Being physically strong I do not shy away from moving heavy items of furniture to clean in behind them as being Virgo anything other than perfection grinds on me. If you are moving out of a rental property, moving into a house or just need your place gutted, I’m your man!…”

WHAT a brilliant idea. Do you think he’d travel to Australia on sort of a household perfectionist filth purge tour???

I love that he says perfection actually ‘grinds’ on him.  Also, his ad does not say if this is his house or that of his clients. If it is HIS house, then it absolutely backs up what someone was saying below about Virgoans needing to see Earth in their environment. Is this a classic Virgo environment? Is offering to “gut” your house a bit weird or does having your house gutted mean something different in Scotland?  In Australia, where I live, it means to burn out the entire interior. It’s not generally done on purpose.

He says he doesn’t want time-wasters or prank e-mails – the gent wants to WORK – but who wants to e-mail just to try to tempt some Virgoan cleaning tips out of him??? It’s a Virgo Moonwane on Monday – there will be anxiety about the skirting boards no matter WHAT else is going on. A therapeutic cleaning jag awaits us all once the Full Moon in Leo conjunct Mars has her/his way…

This is a Brain Institute (seriously) in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Lou Ruvo Centre for Brain Health was designed by a Pisces, the eminent Frank Gehry

What do we think? Do all Pisceans visualise constructions thus?

Is this fuqed Feng Shui or way better than the linear, concrete block style slabs we are used to?

Is the melted surrealism characteristic of our Pisces?  Could the look of this be slightly freaked out for a building that is dealing with situations such as Alzheimers disease? I mean, not critiquing eminent architecture but if you had a brain issue, would you want to go to a building that looked like something terribly haphazard was degenerating it from within?

On the plus side, it probably hasn’t got lifts & I imagine all the windows open so it’s all fresh air, accessible stairs or ramps and open vibe inside…No?

Harpers Bazaar

I  have been like this since I was about nine and I doubt now that it’s ever going to change. I go bats for the Boho beauties & want to know all about them.

So I saw an article on the Padma Lakshmi Indian born M.T.A ex-wife of Salman Rushdie-turned cooking show hostess, jewellery designer and currently mother-to-be-only-she-refusing-to-name-the-father and i LOVED HER. The last thing I read about her was something by her ex-hubby (and yes i am anti-fatwa/pro Salman & freedom of speech etc) bitching about HER & I thought YICK…about him. But she’s now determined to have this baby on her own, design jewels, continue a tv career & employ women.

I have an automatic adoration of woman who are bold, beautiful and outrageously going-for-it no matter what. All that. She is a Virgo – Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto…Plenty smart.  Her Mars in Leo squares Saturn & sextiles Venus in Libra (early marriage to an older/established man ends in pain but it is socially advantageous, to go with an old-school interp-her Dad may not have been exactly supportive, putting it mildly.)

BUT with the portrait of herself above her bed…that is FULL ON… There was nothing in the article about this – that i noticed. And weirdly, it is NOT so flattering! Please – freud me here. Do peeps USUALLY have pics above their bed???  Of themselves?  And if so, how weird is it when the person looks better in real life? And is a multiple conjunct Virgo?

I am SO going to save up my Mars-Saturn thoughts on Bad-Dads and Older Husbands at an Early Age for a Later Post…

Would you put a picture of yourself hugely above your bed?

BTW: I know of a Virgo and Pisces couple – two guys, very in love and established – who have a gigantic pic of Pamela Anderson at her BEST above their bed…they don’t do Feng Shui, they just like it…Weird?

Architectural Digest

Voila the Malibu dining room of Cher!  She is, of course, a Taurus & this is how i think Taureans like things to be:

* Heavy wooden furniture.

* Goth-medieval style furniture.

* Church like atmosphere.

* Fancy light fittings.

* Tapestry chairs.

Thoughts?
