Pluto Oil & Psuedo-Intellectual Astro-Bitch Winners…

Filed in Horoscopes

Retro art carpet science fiction

Hey People – the winner of the Pluto Oil is Ms Holly Owen...Madam has been emailed but of course, this may the first notification of her beautiful prize. It will be air-mailed out tomorrow. Holly, please feel free to jump into the comments and share any Pluto transit experiences, yes?

AND how’s this for fun? I just got a nifty little report thing that tells me the Five Most Prolific Commenters on this blog from 2013. Yes. And they are all going to get a Pseudo-Intellectual Astro-Bitch T-shirt mailed out to them the moment they arrive at chez Mystic. Feb/March is most likely now. It’s coming after the Tarot App.

So i will announce the Top Five Psuedo-Intellectual Astro-Bitches (god i love the troll who gave me this brilliant term – it feels totally Sun Tzu to be getting so much distance out of it) on Tuesday but in the meantime, can you guess who you/they are?

Plus also, whilst we are talking of prizes etc, the Second Tarot Muse Comp is coming later this week: sensational prizes. Seriously, you’ll freak.

        • Oh not me: Pi, Andro, calypso, Scorpbot, Blue, mille, the davids– so many others have me beat in that dept!

It only *feels* like I comment often. Ad nauseam. It’s a gift. πŸ˜›

    • hahahahaha!!!!!!! well if i was among them, finally, my internet addiction and gemini rising pays off. See, mum, I really DID achieve something in 2013.

    • Nah I couldn’t see it being me, although my Leo rising would of course LOVE it :)
Cap moon would be: “OMG I wonder if Mystic can email me a spreadsheet of hours/days/weeks so I can analyse and calculate just how much time I’ve spent NOT doing Operation Awesome and how much further along the Operation Awesome continuum I’d be if I’d not spent X hours on the ‘net.”
Gem NN in 10th would be: “Ooh, cool!”

      • Oh shit no that’s me :)

Far out did i really post that often? Thank god i upped sticks…i was getting SOOO sick in that town, that life…

    • Hi Susan – i think you are mixing this Pluto Oil Giveaway with the Tarot Muse competition – those winners have already been announced in a post right before xmas but you can also see them on the Tarot page. So one of those prizes is the Pluto Oil and then there is this one as well.

And there is about to be ANOTHER Tarot Muse comp – if you are already a Tarot Muse, you need do nothing, you are entered.

      • Oh! I read: “…giving away vials of Pluto Oil to three of my subscribers tomorrow…”

No problem at all but worried about my comprehension in these weird times!!!

  1. Congratulations Holly!
Most comments: Andromeda, Pi, Sweetpea, Scorpbot, and the artist formerly known as Ms Jones.

  2. Woo hoo! Thank you so very much Mystic and Amanda! Pluto Oil sans fruit bats will surely be the perfect traveling companion on the metamorphosis that I wish would just hurry the flip up.

In answer to your question, so far the transit has felt like I am in the B613 hole from Scandal but rather than a black ops torture chamber, my version is the unbearably greige existence that comes from living a version of my life that’s not congruent with who I am. It’s ill-fitting, unflattering and itchy like the hand knitted jumpers of childhood. Far less glamorous than a snake shedding its skin.

My beloved psychic says I have to sit with just how wrong it is and feel it fully in order to propel myself out. I have a plan, I know where I want to be and just have to trust the timing. Dullsville to the max but I get that it is the only option.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and martinis have been replaced by Work B*tch and spreadsheets, the temptation to just buy the 3.1 Phillip Lim phoenix rising top and be done with it is great and the recent and surprisingly not more obvious realisation that I am the only one standing in the way of me doing what I want, what I really, really want, is simultaneously terrifying and liberating.

Compared to what other people are experiencing, I realise that this is very first world but for me, the whole transit could be summarised as be yourself or be damned. Literally. One trillion thanks for picking me. I will let you know how the oil assists.

    • congratulations Miss H,
” I am the only one standing in the way of me doing what I want, what I really, really want,” YES ugh so infuriating and enraging but once you look down and realise the reins are in your hands…

    • I LOVE what your psychic said. There’s a lot to be said for sitting with discomfort. Sometimes we try to force our way out and everything just gets wronger, the decisions are crap, all escapist fuelled. Then the right thing happens in a day.

That’s not to say sit about doing nothing. Trying is important; but the right action comes after ripening time.

First world or whatever, just own it. Best wishes and congratulations x

      • There’s definitely learning in the sitting, despite the discomfort. Thank you ever so for your well wishes, right back at you.

  3. Actually, I think I will be faintly embarrassed if I come up as a most prolific commenter.. 😯 Mercury Addiction stage 1, denial.

    • huh. yeah I think it would serve as outward validation for the sheer amount of time i (we?) have utterly wasted staring at a computer screen and writing numerous unproductive words. underachiever and proud of it…? hmm

as I just read on an artist’s page recently: feeding the time vampires. it’s my new phrase for 2014. time to starve the time vampires!

either way it’s been fun. nothing like working through demons in quasi-anonymity and shootin’ the breeze internationally c/o this blog. aahh whaddayagonna do. love it.

      • My excuse is that I have an iphone & kids who won’t/’I won’t make’ sleep on their own, so after story-time I have story-time here… (okay that excuse doesn’t hold right now). But yeah, whaddayagonna do? Love it too. πŸ˜€

      • I don’t think it’s WASTED because so many people find gold in what you’ve all said x

    • I’d be embarrassed too. But damn my Saggo moon can’t shut up! LOL

And if I do somehow end up in top 5. I’d be happy to donate my t-shirt to someone else who really wants it because I hate T-shirts with slogans or logos on them. Especially the word “bitch” 😯
Cap rising likes things understated and dignified. Thank you :)

      • I will make an exception to my plain clothes rule out of loyalty (& because motherhood has rearranged my priorities/brain/body so whatevs). Hahaha, yes, being a prolific commenter seems the antithesis of understated and dignified but you do somehow manage it!!!!

        • LOL!!! Well Pluto on my Asc has rearranged my behaviour. I was hardly “dignified” back in Pluto on Saggo moon party days.

Anyway, my Gem NN in 6th house likes a bit of gossip and chitter-chatter :)

  4. Well to all I added as a “I think” should win I honestly enjoy your posts! I don’t have time to respond and because of previous posts that I added that stirred the weather vane the wrong way I have taken a step back because my perspective on me have changed in a good way.. So, who ever wins.. I Thank you because I know I learned something from your interactions. To be honest you all play off of each other and I love seeing this social media love connection as friends! It is a unique world here that I find to be a life saver! Peace to you all! I think I am going to order the Pluto Oil!

  5. 12hv, pi, pegs are the only obvious ones to me, but I like everyone here so whoever wins I will totally be happy with it. I actually kind of feel bad leaving anyone out.
    the other david

I probably forgot some people and I feel terrible about it, everyone here is great

  6. Hmm.. well there is quality, and quantity.

Today it was -16F (-27 for you centigrade people). My car’s engine had a hard time turning over. The clutch was very stiff. So I am wondering about the Pluto Oil. Was it developed for transplutonian conditions like the cold of outer space? Will the Pluto Oil perform well as a lubricant, and maintain adequate viscosity at extremely low temperatures? How many miles do you think I would get between oil changes?

    • good point, maybe a weighted of # posts, word count, number of replies / conversations generated from a comment, etc. I might drop out as a contender: could be a good thing πŸ˜›

    • Yes quantity doesn’t necessiate quality. Yeah been hearing about the Midwest mega freeze. Be well.
A Pluto power automobile. Gosh my mind is stuck in all the double entendres.

      • yes, especially considering some people who frequently write long comments but post every paragraph in a separate box. Attention seeking much??? It’s like junk mail

        • some people have a lot to say. if you see it as junk mail, maybe you can ignore it like junk mail. I’ve noticed that those who have the most to say regardless of whether you like it or not, are also the least rude about other commenters.

      • Pluto products promise premium performance. The wind off the River Styx is cold, and there are no service stations on the Highway to Hell.

        • the river styx literally runs through this little town i’m in. that song feels so appropriate at the moment! it was -40 with the wind today, but it didn’t pass the crucial frozen tear ducts/eyelashes test of extreme cold from my MN college days.
pluto oil always starts, no matter how long it takes to catch. life roars back. πŸ˜‰

  7. Names that come up for me are Pi, Andro, Scorpbot, Calypso, Pegs, Blue Moon :) I see you guys here all the time! :)

  8. proΒ·lifΒ·ic (pr-lfk)
    1. Producing offspring or fruit in great abundance; fertile.
    2. Producing abundant works or results: a prolific artist. See Synonyms at fertile.

Hmm… sounds like quantity is what we are going for here?

  9. Pi, Andro, Scorpybot, 12HV (except attention re-orientation once the Pisces entered the picture could drop her average πŸ˜‰ ) and Blue! (but the name change might stuff her stats).

    Love youse all xxxxx

  10. Hmmmm, who indeed, hard to pick as there are a few so I’m going to frame it this way….

Reckon there’s a Pisces, a Leo, a Sage (not me) and a Scorp in the mix. Hey, there might even be an Aries but I don’t know if he’d wear it :)

  11. Congrats Miss Holly!

Mystic, the astro PIAB tee-shirts are a brilliant idea!
I’d love one and definitely deserve to be one of the 5 winners. The reason(s), just thinking out loud, if not least of all because I’ve been a subscriber since 2009, my best friend Clare got me onto this site and I’ve studied astrology in-depth maybe because of it, met some awesome people, have contributed to numerous posts as a commenter but I’m not a dominant commenter by any means, I’m not a fan of overdoing it or sharing private things (.. lucky for everyone else hehe!).

I’m doing me. I’m a PIAB. I’m a Libra with this crazy-horse Mars transit and could really benefit from a win of a PIAB tee-shirt.

    Lib the Libran

  12. Hey guys – shall i put the Five Most Frequent Commenters of 2013who are being sent complimentary Pseudo Intellectual Astro Bitch t-shirts hot off the conveyor belt (or something) here? Or wait?

  13. Okay People – I WILL do a proper post on this when the t-shirts come in and they will be broadly available on the shop BUT the Five Most Frequent Commenters of 2013 – who will be having shirts sent to them – are (in order)

    (1) 12th House Virgo – 1933 comments
    (2) Calypso Scorp – 1927 comments
    (3) Andromeda – 1733 comments
    (4) Tropic of Scorp 1186 comments
    (5) Pegasus 938 comments

    • omg excuse me Mystic for taking so long to respond but I was otherwise engaged in at least two conversations with the Scorpotronic Robot over on another thread….

oh really? where’s our Pi? My Scorp Sun is mortified with my 5th house Libra Merc/Jupe conjunction but my Uranus/Venus conjunction WANTS THAT SHIRT lol :)

      thanks! x

    • Wow awesome!!! Congrats to the winners!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

      • *Blushes* Thanks.. I think?

Will be honoured to get the t-shirt though. πŸ˜€

Many thanks for the largesse Mystic!!

    • OMG!!!! 😯 I’m on the list!

Tropic of Scorp was me before I reverted back to Scorpbot

      LOL πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

        • Oh wait– no, that’s calypso. I thought you were on twice! That would have been hilarious. It was, for a second. LOL

      • I always thought Tropic of Scorp was such a cool name! Tropic of Virgo just doesn’t have the same ring to it….Scorpbot equally excellent in totally different way, very evocative handles honey, and congrats to all the PIAB’s!

        • thanks DH. Tropic of Scorp was my fave too – especially since I love the heat. Scorps are desert dwellers…. and ’tis hot in Hades πŸ˜€

    • I credit getting fired for edging out the competition and pulling off a win! Lol! No wonder I got told to stfu more than once. Love this community. Blessings to all.

    • I wonder where Pegasus is?
      Hope she’s okay.

Mystic when did you start the blog – 2000?

    • Fantastic. Y’all are great bloggers in your own write(ha). This blog as saved me from going under sooo many times thanks to these top 5. Bless you all

  14. That was great!! Fun stuff for such a close group! Congrats the 5 stellar posters! xo!!

  15. Hey guys three things:
    (1) I can’t get data for the top commenters below the top 5 sorry
    (2) Every year there will be a unique prize for them though – eg; in 2015 we will have Pseudo Intellectual Astro Bitch drinks!
    (3) I am initially doing one size and the most classic t-shirt design poss for the t-shirts – i am thinking medium with classic collar and sleeves, like hanes t-shirt – what are your thoughts on design…?

    • perhaps start a new thread Mystic? Pegasus hasn’t even seen this one even though a few have pointed her in this direction on another thread.

I’m TINY so a medium t-shirt would be swimming on me. I do understand why you’d want to do one size only though.

I’m giving mine to Pi, maybe she has ideas on the design :)

    • I have big boobs, if I had a choice, I would go for a lower neck/boat neck? I imagined it just square white script on black. But I trust you to make it look cool & am not fussed!
      PIAB drinks sounds great! :)

    • I love the classic T look – Crewneck, relaxed fit. I love taking a men’s Hanes shirt and wearing it as a basic layer. My personal fave color is grey, but no matter what you choose, I don’t feel it needs to be fancy.

      • In fancy, I meant a one color graphic even would be nice. Cuts down on potential tacky color combos. Not that I think anything you do would have that, but you know, less is more.

  16. MM, thank you for this. Amanda is awesome. She asked me what I like and gave me a few combinations of oils that she thought I might like. The combination of oils are unique — never seen anything like the ones she has put together. I picked Little Black Dress (which has civet!!!!). Thank you MM. I’ve referred her to my other friends. Amanda is so responsive and kind. I love it when people write back and promptly.
