My Moon is about to progress into Leo, yes LEO and i can’t fuqing wait.
Obviously i get that Moon in Kataka (progressed or otherwise) is brilliant for emotional grounding and all. It is, after all, the Moon-ruled sign. But i don’t care. Would i rather be more psychic, ghost glimpsing and accountable for my feelings or to have officially amazing hair that smelt like sunlit meadows as i strode past in my suddenly It-Person wardrobe?
Moon in Leo is going to be fab. In my mind it’s set to Super-Rich-Kids or Jimmy Edgar and i become auto fabulous.

But hey, it’s been a while – let’s check in on our Progressed Moon – sometimes it augments an already powerful point in your chart, eg; you have Mars in Scorpio and there is the Progressed Moon there: Cue Shamanic Warrior & heightened instincts, insight into old resentments still driving you etc.
Other times it fills something in you don’t have so much of or even challenges a stress point in your chart. It’s usually all happening inwardly BUT when the Progressed Moon hits an angle (Midheaven, Descendent etc) things seem to manifest.
So i don’t have any Leo going on in my chart (but i date egomaniac performance types to make up for this lack) so i am looking forward to this immensely.

I’ve had Mars-Moon Progressed in my Leo ascendant for some time and still there for a while. it was unsettling at first – suddenly I was not invisible anymore, no place to hide but in the spotlight. me in the making & making it.
And When the Sun & Mercury went back and forth over my Asc-progressed Mars-Moon all in Leo at end of July of 2012 I was in the press and in front of a crowd = I was literally progressing.
My progressed moon is about to be conjunct my natal moon in Aquarius (6th house). So, I’m guessing I’ll be working on embracing my weirdness/individuality more in my every day life during this cycle? Or doing what feels right vs. what I think other people expected of me, maybe. I’m feeling the effects already, I think–I’ve been living a more spirit-based /balanced life lately and it feel soo right.

Sweet.. I was able to easily find the Progressed Chart! BUT now I am confused. My moon in the Natal chart is in Leo. In the Progressed Chart it is in Taurus and transitioning Capricorn and will be in Aquarius… What do I look at to utilize this movement!! [biting lip]!

The moon will be transitioning over my natal moon on 3/15. My natal moon is in the 5th house. This again is in the progressed chart. Still a little confused.

My progressed moon is exactly conjunct my 9Gemini ASC at the moment – with transiting Jupiter. Loving the vibe. I feel so very optimistic.
ALSO – a bit off-topic but the Daily Mystic reminded me of the Pluto-Saturn thing today and that Pluto (currently aspecting my 10 Tau sun & 10 Aries Venus) is minutes of orb away from leaving my seventh house! LEAVING! HOObloodyRAY! I think that with only a few clicks to go I can now officially call it Pluto in the Eighth. Bring on the sexy! Bring on the money! I’ve done the work – cleaned up my relationships, worked through a whole heap of stuff.

My Progressed Moon is in Capricorn, as is my Progressed Sun. Saturn is opposing my natal Moon and my natal Sun is in Scorpio. Aagh. So much Saturn energy in my life right now.

8 March 2015 my progressed Moon will be in my 5th House at 00 Leo. Right now – 4th House Cancer right where I need it to be. Love it.
What’s with the picture? I find it a little disturbing how those men are gripping Madame Orange – so tight and controlling… and yet all smiles. Is she being kidnapped by them but sees the camera and thinks ‘Ooh, gotta look fab even if I’m about to be shoved in a trunk and driven to my death’? Or is she completely tanked and being escorted out of a swanky restaurant after peeing in her vichyssoise but these guys are happy because she’s promised to show them her boobs?
And as far as the progressed moon goes – Saggo in 3rd. Doesn’t really resonate with me at the moment. Or maybe I’m not opening to it as there’s too much Saturn-Pluto-aggh-god-these-period-cramps-are-killing-me going on?

And a bit intense when I think about all of this hanging around opp my Piscean assec. With Chiron crossing it next week …. Holy hell! I have natal moon in leo. My hair is pretty good, but not as fabulous as you describe. IT is naturally dark auburn, super long, straight and thick.

My serious relationship has been more grounded and moved into a different stage it seems; we’ve been together a year later this month.
My progressed moon is at the end of the 4th house now and there have been massive changes on the homefront during it’s time here…..
shortly before it went into the 4th house, I bought my house and moved in, have done remodeling work, the ex boyfriend moved out(thank heavens). A year later the Torro lover and daughter moved in and then my oldest son moved out.
So I am wondering what the progression into the in early April will bring….

Progressed moon is in cap, conjunct progressed sun and jupiter – right on pluto and squaring my natal pluto. Fun times.
My progressed Moon is at 25 Libra, so I guess it has been hanging out around my south node at 22 Libra. That should be lighting up *something* I’d imagine…..old emotional stuff, like really old, from past lives, even? Don’t know…
Also noticed my progressed Mars is right on my north node at 22 Aries….should be significant, too, eh?
Not sure how to interpret these progressed contacts to the nodes…you had mentioned the angles, but not the nodes. I read that NN in Aries can mean that I need to learn to be more independent in this lifetime. With progressed Mars there I would imagine this would help me a lot with that!
progressed moon at 14 Cap (with progressed sun at zero degrees Leo) – natal moon at 26 Pisces and natal sun at 13 Gem.. I can use both the progressions: cap moon in progressed 10th house is I think good…at the moment ‘natally’ I’m Saturn conjunct MC, Saturn sextile pluto (natally), Pluto sextile MC, Pluto trine Pluto and a bit of Saturn trine Saturn as well.
So much to integrate with astro yes?

Ah yes thanks for reminding me to check progressed chart! Last time I looked had sun moon & mercury all in cancer! Only water in my chart is neptune & midheaven in scorpio (& a stellium in 8th house). Remembered moon was edging towards end of cancer & yay has just moved into LEO (5th house) like you (soon) MM!!! This intrigued me to check if I noticed any thing diff in my life when it switched. Lo & behold thought I wonder if that was when I put my foot down and completely stopped love-zombieing about the Uranian multiple-Virgo – & YES! Almost to the bloody day! After a year of on-offness & me absolutely infatuated I finally went ehh don’t need this anymore (with a flick of my hair naturalement). natal Libra moon, progressed Moon at 4 saggo right now, which makes a bit of sense. I did spend much of the last couple years in a cold winter of super-righteous-destructo-phoenix mode and am now in a place where I am bringing back the swagger.
I totally don’t understand progression yet but my natal Uranus is 29 scorp, so how do I find out when exactly my progressed moon was transiting natal Ur? Would be fascinating to see when exactly, in light of the last couple of years epic phoenixing.

Just read up on this! Prog moon takes about 2 1/2 years to move through each sign… I didn’t start knitting (so don’t worry!), did do a lot of partying (much of it at home mind you) but was much softer and more emotional now I look back on it…prog moon just into Leo

this year and change of leo moon has certainly been eventful. i think, having had my prog sun and rising in cancer most of my life, the years when my moon was there were good for building an impenetrable shell. and baking cookies- i perfected the art… but mostly a bomb shelter. under the leo onslaught of heart and glamour the shell has mostly crumbled. painful but i wouldn’t go back. and my hair looks infinitely better. vanity is in no short supply. i guess the saturn lesson is that i finally realized that to look good you have to do the work… uhduh… 8o

Ruh-roh, my progressed Moon is in 28 Leo, along with my sun also in Leo (11 deg), AND my Mars (10 deg). Does this explain the shopping jags of late? The plush purse fetish so indulged the postal worker sniffed appreciatively at it and ventured to guess it’s cost (not as much as he thought).

I will say that I’ve had an unusual obsession with hair products lately, and the word SHINE, like shiny hair, Rihanna’s shine like a diamond song, shiny silver pointy pumps, maybe this Moon’s motto is IF YOU BLING IT, THEY WILL COME.

My progressed moon is one degree away from my natal Saturn in Pisces, 11th house. Not sure what this could mean??

Anyway, I went and had a look and it’s in my 5th (Libra) and has just gone over my IC. The 5th doesn’t have any major activity.
I’ve had a an ancient Libra theme come back. After some investigation it looks like it’s been the time of this progression. Interesting me thinks and I look a little further…
Turns out at a point in time with ancient Libra m progressed moon was in Libra. Umm… ok what’s with that.
Then when I check further I find at birth it was in Libra.
The other thing that made this all a bit woo-woo for me was when I read up on progressed lunar transits. I’m born in new moon cycle and in a progressed lunar phase it’s like an IC experience, death rebirth.. possibly a little 7 of cups energy, although I had myself thinking 4 of cups intuitively.
As an aside, I don’t understand why the MC/IC is different along the way but as I said at the beginning I’m not sure I understand progressed charts in general.
To me it has some sort of karmic/destiny kind of feeling to it.
I don’t normally look at progressions at all either.
Something really cool to look for – say you have an officially difficult aspect -look for when the prog moon gives you a good version of it. Eg; you have Moon square Pluto but the Prog Moon trines Pluto. It can be a really epic time to change for the better but it happens with ease.
Hmm, I don’t have anything other than a semisextile with with this progression, but helpful info to think about it from that angle otherwise I just wonder what it’s all about

Never having heard of a progressed moon (although I had heard of the sun) I went and checked it out – and what do you know? progressed moon in 4 deg pisces and likely to be that way for some time. Well it’s the only thing I have in pisces – and maybe it’s helped me cope with the pisces deluge of the last month. And with my new go with the flow mojo

Okay, so I have my progressed Moon at 2 Scorpio in my 3rd house (right next to my natal IC which is at 6 Sco) sextiling my natal Sun in Cap, natal Moon in Vir, natal Mercury in Cap, squaring natal Mars in Cap and natal AC in Leo and conjunct natal Pluto in Lib , and progressed Uranus is also in Scorpio at 29 in my 4th house.

I still don’t really understand what progressions are. I think I understand transits. At least I know I can look up an ephemeris and find out where a planet is right now and check where that matches up with in my natal chart (or simply use astro.com which is much simpler and faster).
But progression? That I still don’t quite get. Can some of the astro-veterans here help out this astro-newbie please?
My progressed moon just moved into Virgo & is exactly conjunct my natal sun. My health has been my top priority/difficulty since October which I thought was mostly due to Saturn slamming my Asc/Moon/1st house/Pluto…ha. UGH.
Buut looking at my progressed chart there is so much in VIrgo right now. No wonder I’ve been so fixated/struggling with health matters.

Can’t get into Gary.. My teacher had a famous client who was into astrology. She called on Chiron to come to her while having had a few wines. A disembodied or earth bound surfer dude & plumber (who was surely called Gary) took her on & was having a wild time making her sex mad. She got him to move on, a reminder to triple check who people say they are in Spirit.
Asteroid Gary reminds me of this story especially when he is in Sagg. He should never be conjunct Theodora or anyone, he needs to fuq off back to the Light imo.

My progressed in the 11th house under Aquarius so quick obs of my emotional state is that I have no emotional state. I’ve intellectualized it away somehow. And the complete lack of a social life since the new year must be the testament to that theory? Right now, I am enjoying the confidence and comfortable detachment from any form of relationship ghosts. I had a double D (drama of a dream) saga last night that didn’t really phase me as it normally should.
So I have a progressed moon (aqua) sextile my natal moon (sagg), and seeing a pluto trine. What’s wierd is the prog pluto is exactly where my natal pluto is. So basically I’m choosing to evolve and remedy my emotional state rather than running as far as I can – which I spent all of 2012 two time zones away to escape the broken heartache love triangle madness

Am curious to see if progressions are that palpable because moon is 1 degree Leo! Yipee! And then my progressed venus is squaring natal mars.
According to Time Passages Pro (astro ap for I-phone) “only the first year of a progression in any house is considered relevant.” Hmmmmm Progressed Moon in Gemini within 5 degree shouting distance to natal Mars now.

My progressed moon is in Sagittarius, halfway through my 4th house. Since my moon has been in Sagg, I studied abroad in Melbourne, travelled to Bali alone, started a blog & met heaps of amazing people from around the world. I feel like I am in an exploratory stage, in my early 20s and just starting to figure out what I want and who I am. PLaying, enjoying, loving, and Being true to my authentic self in the process.

Oh wow, funny -my progressed moon is smack in the middle of Cancer now and I HAVE been feeling pretty emotionally grounded (although I hadn’t quite defined it as such until I saw the chart and read this and went “Oh YEAH.”).
Anyway, I wanted to ask if even though you’re not really into reading progressions you might be so kind as to write a piece about what they mean? Because I noticed that all the houses on my progressed chart line up with different signs than on my natal chart (and ofcourse, most of the planets are elsewhere, as well). Also, my progressed Sun is currently in Pisces and (due to my own reasoning that because my Sun is in the 12th house -Aquarius, and my first house is in Pisces and therefor all the horoscopes that are written as Sun in the 1st house and so on seem only PARTIALLY accurate) I also have been reading for Pisces off and on and finding it pretty accurate. Could this be why?
OK, I think I”m not getting a very basic thing here: HOW can you tell WHEN your moon moves into your progressed moon? I’d be going from Moon in Virgo to Moon in Pisces, and it feels like I”m already there (have been a nested-down hermit mostly interested in yoga and meditation rather than obsessing over relationships with others like I did in the past), but I have no idea how to tell if/when my moon did move into Pisces.

Progressed Moon currently going through Aquarius. Not so bad indeed. Hope by the time it gets into Pisces I’ve mastered the zen mode.
My progressed Moon is also getting ready to move into Leo in 11 days. I despise being in the spotlight, but must admit a little attention for my career would be amazing. Very curious to see what comes of this…
I’m so jealous! My prog moon just left Leo for Virgo. The party’s moved from the VIP lounge to the janitor’s supply closet. Poo.
