So i get emails like this about ten times a day. And to hopefully fend them off, i am just going to say right here: All the most practical and pertinent info for each sign is in the Horoscopes. There is no time and certainly no need to put it elsewhere. If i were to email everyone their “quick personal take” as requested, there would be NO site, no Horoscopes, no Oracle, no Scheduler, no me as you know me.
“Oh but the Horoscopes cost money…” Yes they do and that is as there are no ads cluttering up the site or making it so i need to “find out more about you” so as to spin the most marketing appropriate content. I knock back ads and paid-for promos every day, I just don’t do them. So I could do ads and probably make more money – there are plenty of page views – but i choose the subscriber model of biz instead.
This is to say (a) please don’t send me emails asking for information about what’s in store for your sign when it is clearly here on the site and available for approx $1 a week and (b) thank you to my glorious subscribers for making this site possible, supporting my work and keeping this place ad-free. Not a single day goes by that i don’t think of you with love & gratitude.
On that note, the Monthly Horoscopes for March are posted - strangest month i’ve seen in yonks but kind of hot. I mean, Mars-Venus-Uranus lining up in Aries with the Full Moon in Libra? If this astrology were a person, it would be stalked 24-7 by the paps.

Even if they had been a subscriber, the email was just too much. It is incredibly flippant, rude and (unrealistically) demanding.
But the fact that they were not even a subscriber – that’s a personality problem right there.
I would feel embarrassed if I fired off an email like that. Some part of me hopes that it was just a blip and that they couldn’t really be serious; maybe they were drunk due to trying to numb some incapacitating PMT or something. That would be the only excuse I could think of. When I’m like that I retire with a wheat pack and don’t email anyone!

I sixth or seventh most of these sentiments – I dropped the other two astro subs when I could no longer afford them, but kept Mystic on. It’s very refreshing to visit a site that isn’t jamming shit in my face, so I can just focus on the content. Feels a bit safer too, which is important to those of us who are zapped out. Nice bit of self-advocating bitchery Mystic. To be fair (oh, there it is, my libra stripes revealed) I thought the email was asking primarily for you to post a topic for all to see, but may have been a bit unconscious regarding the personal email request. Can someone tell me what “stalking” really means? That is what is happending to Mystic.
Is it constant contact via email, txt, phone etc even though you tell the person “Don’t bother”, say “No” or say “please leave me alone”? I hate to consider myself a stalker if I am checking in on my friends via FB. I check their page, photos I might have missed etc. Puzzled by that term because I thought I was one by viewing a FB page. ??

Ex #2: Person A has NO clue Person B is monitoring their behavior. Person A is the Prey; Person B is the Hunter. Someone is looking for a “kill”: character asassination, information that’s none of the other party’s business, general “dirt,” or psychic “blood” (aka Qi Vampire).

To clarify –MM’s example above is not an example of stalking; it’s an example of CLUELESSNESS.
But how does Ex.#2 know that they are being monitored if you don’t talk to them? This example might relate to my recent experience:
I was just defriended by someone who I was intimate with for 3 years. Last time I saw him was in November 2012. I had this suspicion in October 2012 that he was somehow connected to my computer (he has done some hacking before, is a computer geek and a retired cop).. so I tested it by clicking on his photos multiple times especially the recent one he posted of him and this girl he calls friend who I met.. suddenly he took me off his list. Possible confirmation is my opinion. There could more to this defriending episode but I am not sure. The truth will come out eventually.
Sad thing is that this guy was a key element in me changing my life. I know people think I am nuts but until you have been moved from feeling like a victim most of your life to the feeling of unconditional love you have to appreciate the elements that came into your life when you transitioned into that new feeling (this guy is one). Call me insane but I am so happy I connected with this guy. Unfortunately he was too immature to understand and appreciate a compliment. I never chased, forced or caused any drama with him. I always let him go when he showed signs of immaturity.

I would say this sounds like a Pluto trip on someone’s part (cue the Transformation Trip).
If you feel you’re being compromised, I’m sure there are ways you could dig around/employ someone to find this and block it. Not sure I’d be confrontational with a retired cop.

I’m sober, I’m committing to an Ann Wigmore/chefahki.com style diet experiment, I got an amazing business and writing timetable and plan, I’m signed up for online business school and an amazing group therapy in Berkeley, and looking to sign up for a tanning/sauna/pilates all-in-one studio. Very Zap Zone and very opposite where I was all winter! Oh, and my college degree will be sent to me in May.
It took me a couple of years longer than most with all the traveling so it feels good to be done.

Astro is a way to understand people, and a chart is a wheel with 12 pieces of pie. I really detest astro-stereotyping. Do you know i never used to get on with any Geminis, and it disturbed me. Then i met heaps in the last five years, and they’re gorgeous. That made me really happy! I felt that not getting on with a specific sign meant that i was having some issue of my own that i was projecting, or just not meeting a wide enough variety of people to be able to see all shades of people of the same sign.
It’s far more interesting to note HOW a particular character trait is played out by each sign. We can all be demanding, even a Pisces, believe it.

I’ve recently unsubscribed from a health blog, a subject I have a great interest in, because of the in-you-face adverts and sudden flurry of spam.
This site is beautiful and the content from Mystic and commenters superb. It’s a joy to receive my specific astro info and wonderful to be appreciated as a subscriber.
Together with many shapeshifting guises, Mystic takes the form of divine mother. We all want to pull on her for energy and attention because she seems so available and all-seeing.
We lean on her in co-dependent ways, funny that co-dependence has been made an art form by libra.
Like any good benevolent one, she is in the position to bitch-slap her kiddies with some boundaries, and remind us that too much self-absorption is boring. And god-forbid we be BORING. Its all part of it and she’s along for the ride as much as any of us.

I love these few months before my birthday 4-20! Mars and Venus conjunct in Aries. I’m gearing up for major swag. Obvs i am pisces but read kataka due to rising sign issues. whatevs. anyway, thank you. also the Torkil Gudnasson images are SO BEAUTIFUL – i just visited his site to see about buying a print OMG no can do, they cost more than the two original works that I bought a couple of years ago (thanks to discovering another artist via your site) … sometimes i look at them and think “i could really do with that $XXX right now” and then i think ‘what was the point of buying art if i am only going to sell it again, I am not an art dealer!’ dilemma.

This of course is how a community is built. By identifying yourself and allowing others to get some insight and piecing strands together. I understand there are log in issues, but is it so hard to just type your identifier when you enter the community ? You can’t fuqing forget every time surely ?

OK so i have progressed Asc in Capricorn. Do i read that in the Scopes? I mean, how many people here look at their progressed signs, and how do you put it into context of the natal?

I actually recently noticed my asc which is also gem 21 ish has progressed to leo. I’m actually hoping that progressions are relatively minor influences

at least, hey, you’re right i am Gem asc at 20sometjhing degrees, and my progressed asc is now Leo. but Kataka occupies the rest of my 1st house so if (for example) pluto’s in my 7th, then i need to read Kataka for anything pluto related to make sense (right now I am also reading a lot of Leo scopes, because all the early pisces stuff is falling in my 8th house. *throws hands up in air*
Wow, that’s dedicated, Pi! Does all the additional analysis assist you? I pay a lot of attention to the daily scopes for my sun, but don’t relate as strongly to those for my ascendent.

.. i don’t do it all the time – often i will just think ‘who cares, I am just going to fly blind this week’ or see more relevance in one. in reading >1 of the scopes i cobble together a general shape or picture of the day /week ahead based on all 2 or 3 and then work with that..

This is the downside to being an astrologer I imagine, like anything spiritual, “the tell me about me” club- only this crosses natural interest when you happen to actually have a site that is archived full of information. No, a personal email by tomorrow?I am still offering to be the complaints department btw.. I think minus astrology anyone with this kind of approach to a such an email will boil down to a template answer of such:
Dear ______ insert sign________

Hmmm I remember MM’s horoscopes in the weekend newspaper back in some other milennium, and how that one cryptic little paragraph, full of intrigue and possibilities, revealed its subtle meaning throughout the week until the following weekend, when i would rush off to the paper shop, to get my paws on the next installment……now we have ’round the clock’ Mystic….. we are so very lucky, im subscribing.

I’m really looking forward to the re-worked/ updated version of your book soul mating or astro guide. They are awesome books with such a great sense of humour. I’m grateful to have the opportunity for extra info during the year- you know the short astro consults, moon sign guide etc. I’ve only subscribed for about four or five years but wish I had known about your site sooner- like nine years sooner. Also, I don’t know anybody my age who is interested in astrology, or anyone for that matter, so it’s great to keep learning and understanding astrology through the daily scopes etc. People are still a bit funny about astrology and don’t talk about it seriously, well that has been my experience. It took me a good couple of years of reading to see how in-depth astrology can be. I still don’t know anywhere near enough (mars in taurus is slow).
MM and everyone here have been an incredible source of support and healing for me since I came to the site about six months ago.
I can’t even remember how I found this site, but it’s been serendipitous, the best sort of timing and SO needed.
Probably without knowing it, you all have gotten me through an unbelievable rough patch. You all kept me from completely losing it…..very dark times it was for me the last quarter of 2012.

It is common if you do any kind of esoteric work, people want you to fix their lives, give a quick fix, or your spin, that way if things fuck up they have someone else to blame, somtimes, just in my experience, some people dont want to take responsibility for own choices.
