January Monthly Horoscopes + Mercurial Bats

Dudes, it is perfectly normal to be obsessed with your hair, cats, art and/or finding your true fashion persona on a Leo Moon in the first day of the post-Mayan Apocalypse era.  Happy New Calendar Year btw!

  5. Thank God the cat obsession is OK. I was thinking about – I think it was Quadrupled, I’m bad with remembering stories + names – her dream with the yellow bird and cat. Had a dream last night of a flood and even though I went toward my daughter first, I had to mentally check – “Is my cat OK?” first. Also, thinking I’ll let my hair grow out a bit. My Leo moon is glowing.

    • yep, it was me. Thanks to that dream, I dropped a house full of friends partying for new year and ran back home so I could be with my cat when the clock ticked 2013. But it was worth it :-)

  7. Hmmm…this explains my sudden obsession with watching voguing videos on youtube and plotting my return to the dance studio. And yes, 2013 fashion scheming.     I want to know so bad if he is a Leo. I’d actually guess Virgo? I don’t know why. Regardless, Queen Leo Madonna chose him to dance at her Superbowl performance…so I’d say he’s an honorary Leo by proxy. :)

  9. Loving the new monthlies Mystic – thanks!! Saturn ‘harping on’ in my health and fitness area explains my irrational desire to stop all this celebratory indulgent nonsense and get back to basics.
    FWIW I’m also fine without the scheduler (but kinda curious as to its new form). With Mars in Virgo I am already scheduled to the hilt and in constant danger of taking it all far too seriously…%-0.

    • I find the scheduler indispensable for not accidentally placing major negotiations and similar meetings in the midst of an astro storm warning (if you can avoid it).

      Also good for checking the retros etc of the planets

  11. Love the new monthly scopes, Mystic, thankyou! I am copying the key points into my new diary’s special section for monthly planning.
    Weirdly I am about to spend two weeks at my bestie’s place with my ‘adopted’ family, so totes in line with the Pisces scopes.
    Happy new year everyone! I am housewitching today. Setting my intention as I go, asking that all obstacles be removed so the next (better) phase can manifest.

  13. OMG, think I had an ah ha, is there coincidence that 1929, 1989, both ecomonic crashes were year of the snake, as we are about to begin feb10 2013 water snake year requiring much scheming and focus on work? To ponder……

  14. I have been battling with possessions for the past week and a half while packing to move house on 12th Jan. If everything else about Libra is as spot on, it’s going to be a huge month. Happy New Year Mystic.

  19. I’m loving the January monthly scopes. Practical, plan devising and detailed, just the way my Virgo Venus prefers.
    I’ve got some serious hair inspiration happening involving change of colour and style. Things are steady and moderate so I am happy to be a bit outrageous with my hair-care-plan, it’ll give my attitude the perky-lift it deserves and start the year on the front foot. Inspiration is easy to find when you’ve got venus in 1st house, just a matter of slowing the wheels of life down enough to listen to my heart.

  24. New ‘scopes and a new baby! My dear Aussie friend here in the US gave birth yesterday morn (Dec 31) to nearly 10lb boy! A C-section, so he was instantly photogenic. He’s got a sweet placid plump Buddha bub face.

    Little Cappy with a Leo Moon! Holy Aphrodite –Moon trine Venus– the women in his world (three older sisters) will dote on him, absolutely. His Venus on my Asc. I lurvvv him, too! He is a wonderful omen of a great new year.

    Am scoping out knitted baby caps, with devil horns. :-) Dad was once a band manager, now housedad, and he’s decorated his son’s nursery with his old framed RIAA awards and guitars. With that Leo Moon, I doubt Dad with have trouble encouraging his son to take to the stage.

  27. So, that’s what’s behind my desire to buy all new shoe wardrobe, dye and cut my hair. New Year makeovers are so much fun!!!
