Asteroid Prometheus
Genius, Hero & Trickster who stole Fire from the Gods for humanity – what’s not to like about Prometheus? He’s like a sort of a cross between Chiron & Uranus or something. He’s also an asteroid – Number 1809 – currently conjunct VENUS (hmmm) and you can throw him into your chart via the Extended Chart Options over on Astrodienst.
Let’s share our findings re this. Presumably Prometheus in your chart would show where you demonstrate an awesome insane dimension of guts & genius, you’re high on audacity and you could go too far. Would not necessarily do well in a team environment lol. I’d love to meet or hear of someone with Mars-Prometheus. Mine is in early Pisces trine the Midheaven – need to think that through.

Wow ok, no idea what this really means but its at 13 deg Aries in my 2nd house with Jupiter at 24 and Kiron at 28. Jupiter is opp Uranus and Prom is opposite Pluto??? Yikes?

Prometheus conj my asc-mars in Pisces. I have been known to be self-sacrificing and “fuq da police” for the better of all/mankind. If people need something (fire), I give it to them, despite the consequences (rock and poor intestines).
Prom is 25 deg Cap – conjunct my Venus, opposite Moon in Kataka.
Hmm, conjunct Venus – I certainly am NOT gutsy with emotional things or relationships. Definitely a loner type. Maybe that’s where i go too far? Very independent and therefore shun traditional relationships? I’ve never ever wanted to get married. Maybe this is Mr Prometheus kicking in, especially since it’s opposite my moon.

Hmm..Prom is conjunct my Sun (17 degrees) in 12 th house in Leo & both are in opposition to Chiron (Aquariius) – have always had a strong knowing about spirit and an ability to heal self and animals when I totally focus…but when I tell others they can do this or try to explain how to do it they look at me blankly with a “you are weird” look.. So then I feel like a dufus.

The Square to Mars is where – I jump in and act/react without thinking things through. That can be good on occasion too though.
I am new to astrology so I want to make sure I am interpreting this correctly. According to Astrodienst, my Prometheus is 3 degrees Leo, in the 7th house. I know that I have Mercury conjunct Mars. Mercury is at 3 degrees Leo conjunct my Mars at 1 degree Leo, both in the 7th house. So does this mean my Prometheus is also conjunct Mars?

I can’t even talk to people about my approach towards these two areas. In regard to the transition in the 11th house (groups, utpian visions, you) not so much.. Short visit I assume.

I am at these cross roads currently… I believe. Interpretations welcome.
Recent ex-mate abandoned loving relationship citing his displeasure with my own apprehension to succeed in vocation/lack of self-love (Capricorn) as well as his newly ignited flame of independence being stifled by our partnership (Leo pride?), also described as a lack of investment in us/future life together(projection…) Thus, began the battle to rediscover my self worth outside of acceptance from another/from a relationship (Venus) AND working hard to get on top of a true career path (Cap)
Which brings me to 12th house- the giving(and receiving) of unconditional love, forgiveness, spiritual practice, the unconscious/intuitive all of which are the hurdles I am actively attempting to jump and master to break the barrier of wounded ego and determination.
I feel as though my (still loving) relationship is inherently linked to my expansion (Jupiter Conjunct to these in my Chart) in achieving my life goals and am finding it hard to separate the two. Success is wanted in both areas, simultaneously. Although, perhaps holding hope for a relationship with this person may be love-zombie or counter productive?

Natal Prom at 4d Capricorn/10th house; the only entity in my 10th. As a matter of fact, it’s the only entity I have in any of my natal earth signs. Prom is square Pluto, and it has some sort of aspect to my Sun-Venus conjunct in Scorp/8th house, but have no idea what those little symbols mean.

Prometheus is conj my Venus, Ceres and Pallas in Aqua, which puts him opp my Leo ascendant. Fire v fire. Funny because I’ve spent the last 48 hours indulging in one of those self-pitying fantasies about actually burning my house down… chucking some stuff in my car, leaving a candle burning and never looking back. I don’t know what this means, but about 4/5 of my chart is between 15 Cap and 23 Pisces. Every time Mystic introduces us to a new asteroid, I find it squeezed in there. All 5th, 6th, 7th houses. Are charts typically like this? What does it mean, apart from the fact that I’m procrastinating again?

Just ran the numbers and mine is at the top if my chart in Saggo – not brilliantly aspected (square sun and merc, and trine Neptune) – I could be more gutsy and audacious re career but my sun/merc conjunction in virgo blocks that a bit – and I could achieve the glory by being haute neptune…quite true, actually!

Sorry that should be Mars conjunct Prometheus. My Mars opposes my Sun/Merc and trines my Midheaven and Chiron too. Prometheus lays off my Sun/Merc conjunction (thank goodness what with Mars being there and all) but trines the other two. Is this good, bad, or should I be indifferent? I am curious, as I am currently being battered about by Chiron squaring off my Sun/Merc. Maybe I need to get my Percy Bythe Shelley on and write some tome about epic mythological experience with a solid iambic pentameter. Feeling very much the wounded poet of late to say the least. If only I could write about it but my instrument is off right now.

Promethus 8th house in Libra conjunct Sun, Mercury and Pluto. Maybe, even though I consider it a drawback , my intenseness is winning.
Mines in my overloaded 8th house, at 25 Leo, on the Venus/Jupiter, square Mars, semisquare 6th house moon (exact) and sesquiquadrate Saturn (which is in Aries, exactly square my Cancer Moon). God do I identify with being chained to a rock for eternity, though it is in the service of something and some people I cherish. Whinge, moan: it does get very frustrating at times though, and lonely, and frightening because all of those decisions have to be made alone. Possibly that is all down to that powerful Saturn Square 6th house moon though, Prometheus is just the icing on the craptastic cake.

Thanks for the diversion, Mystic. I love your astro projects. Natal Prom conjunct my natal Chiron in Aries, second house. And right now, I’m a click away from having a Venus return, with transiting Prom conjunct the party, right on the cusp of my 7th/8th.
I’ll have to really think about these. If Prom is like Uranus and Chiron, then having it conjunct natal Chiron might just augment that energy? Not sure. And, conjunct the ‘wounded healer’, could this be Prom in his very raw end of the deal form…I mean, he did get a pretty wicked punishment out of all his do-goodery audacity. If you asked him if it was worth it, I wonder what the answer would be?
Plus, transiting Uranus is right in the zone of my natal Chiron/Prom. So my chart is all lit up with Prom/Chiron/Uranus at the moment.

I can say I am very diplomatic by nature and have the ability to get my point across without offending anyone (no matter how difficult to do) but if someone crosses a line I can easily get very intense and make people feel terrible. Having Mars in Aries helps with fuelling this, I guess

Something to do with possessions and income and perhaps with the trine to 9th house philosophy and values, emotions towards work, travel etc. If where you have prometheus can be guts and genius maybe working on self (in 2nd house) will enable the 9th house stuff to work better??

Not sure what it all means really, ‘cos the more I look into my chart recently, with mars, pallas aspects etc. the more I’m finding an emphasis on the more independent warrior type that I am. I mean I always felt it, just couldn’t express it so well. This is close enough to my sun to be considered conjunct, along with mercury on the other side. Despite the strong virgo, I’ve felt I’m a little bit Gemini too & I think this adds to that. Great

Ha, Prom in Sag (10th house, widely conj Lilith/Ceres conj in Sag/10th) in exact trine to my 6th house Leo Sun. Makes complete sense to me without going into a 90% deets explanation. Love how it lends me more fire in my chart

Due to a recent shroom *revelation* where i kept repeating in my head i am prometheus i am prometheus (lololol) i looked this up like a month ago and found it at 27 degrees Virgo in the 10th house and trine my sun… But to be honest tho I can’t fathom what it all comes out to.
I have prometheus in my first house, 24 Virgo (rounding up). My first house also has mars in it (11 Virgo). I played competitive soccer all my life, getting full tuition college scholarship for soccer. Presently, I get up a 3:30 am to fit in my daily 2.5 – 3 hour workout routine (kundalini yoga, body shaping). Would do even more if had more time (adding dance). Working out has always been the easiest thing for me to be disciplined it.
I’m an introvert so don’t really display brazen mars in the first house energy, but did have an intense war of will with in the workplace with a lazy gemini when black moon lilith went through my sixth house, resulting in subsequent health problems.
I
