On the matter of open plan offices, well I pondered that and whether a cone of silence would be of any benefit given the distinct lack of privacy and space at work but realised they could all press their faces up against it and that would bug me. During that random thought I completely forgot to amp up my own filter modulater and am now home undertaking critical repair work for tomorrow lol
Will def check this out on my next trip home to Vancouver. In fact, thinking of getting my sis to swing by and pick a couple up for me!
This Scorp LOVES me a good talisman, and it’s part of my daily ritual to see which piece of jewellery picks me each day.
I love talismanic jewelry though I’m horribly picky, I’m not hung up on value even if I do have a few beautiful and expensive pieces. I want to feel empowered by what I wear, from the color of my clothes to the accessories. Empowerment = degree of clarity I feel with what I’m wearing, to me it should help me send the strongest signals to the universe regards my presence no matter what it is that day i.e. soft, strong, sharp, dark etc.
Almost everyday I wear a back band with 2 faux diamonds and “Power” in Chinese calligraphy. The other two rings I wear most often together is a silverish two sided pentagram ring (one side is filled in with black enamel, the other is just an outline) for Venus and a “white gold” with diamonds slithering serpent for rebirth, both are very sleek. On the weekends I wear a hand and finger bracelet made of angel stone for protection.
I think jewelry is such a great snapshot of meaning, you can look at what someone’s wearing and have an entire story in your head about them. Obviously I wish I could design my own but I’d probably drive myself insane being too demanding.

Talismanic jewellery is beautiful. I have a gold eye of Horus given by family, but people react twitchy to it. I prefer very simple jewellery as perhaps I don’t want to scare people off. Some people have deeply embedded anxiety toward archaic symbols so I prefer not to trigger that.
I think my belief system is out of the ordinary so now I compensate by dressing anonymously.
