Channing Tatum Rising

Filed in Horoscopes

Channing Tatum is The Everything at the moment. Magic Mike is revolutionary. He’s beyond human, he is a hot Meme.

His astro is interesting – he’s Taurus with Moon in Virgo but what does he have rising? No birth time on record BUT he looks Water Rising to me, but not Scorp as he does not look vampire enough.

He’s also got Mars in Leo conjunct his North Node & square Uranus in Scorp.  Mars-Uranus & North Node aspects mean you don’t stagnate, ever. You’re always up and on high-alert, practically in combat mode, eager to fulfil or create your destiny.  He’s been doing his Mars in Leo brilliantly, always the performer, parlaying every bit of his DNA/dance etc into art, cinema & acting.

  1. I vote Moon rules the chart ~ Cancer Asc.

I have Mars trine Uranus and Asc square Uranus, still wondering what that means. My boss recently said I’m a rebel, in a puzzling, not awful way. I just looked up the Urban dictionary and I’m thinking he may be right.

Realizing Im a rebel is a zap zone impact / aspecting my own personal planets.

  2. holy crap what a body. very james deanish in style and demeanor. yes, seems quite watery to me too – bet there is heaps of emotion there.

  3. Hmmmm….. he’s just never done it for me. I just don’t find him attractive and all the buzz around him makes me go “meh”

    • Same here I’m afraid. Doesn’t help that his name sounds like it was randomly generated by a computer program that scrambles the contents of a 1983 Woman’s Day.

      • Bahahaaaa! Exactly. I always think – is it a boy or a girl? Is it someone from ‘Gossip Girl’ or the son/ daughter of someone famous that I don’t care about?

He really does nothing for me. I like smart men with something brewing there behind their eyes. He just looks like a dopey puppy to me. And those abs? Hmm, how many hours does he devote to his body and posing in the mirror. Big turn off for me…

        • Dopey puppy. I agree!
He does nothing for me. I think my recent Saturn on Venus (Libra) transit extinguished my pretty boy weakness.

            • Yeah, Channing has that stereotypical Toro “all brawn, no brain” look.

Contrast that with a more complex Toro– James McAvoy, born April 21, 1979– he said about himself: “I’m 5 foot 7, and I’ve got pasty white skin. I don’t think I’m ugly, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not your classic lead man, Brad Pitt guy.” Well, I don’t know what his chart has, but it is magic– at least, for me!

  4. Maybe I’m just too old, too jaded or too busy self-actualising…ahem – started my running program this morning, in the rain no less, I have never been a runner so feeling VERY Lorna Jane right now….soz, back to Channing Tatum. Is that his real name?? Yes, nice abs, but he does nothing for me. Over-waxed! (Him. Not me).

Love the Monday Pisces scopes, btw… *gleefully resets love expectations to ‘grand’* :)

  5. He is not my type at all and I don’t really find him attractive, but he has lots of karasma! He def has ‘something’. Loved him in ’21 Jump Street’ and ‘Magic Mike’!

I have Mars/Jupiter conjunct north node (all Virgo) in the 4th… Would rather have the female version of what he has though, lol.

  6. Saw Magic Mike with Frugen#1, #2 was out on business in Edinburgh hence we were consoling ourselves with Hotness. Prior this movie, I don’t believe I’d ever been ass-hypnotized before, it has happened. The combo pack of him and Pettyfer didn’t help things either.

Hence when #2 came back and asked me about the plot, I just stared at him blankly. This movie actually made me wonder if perhaps the usual regime of HRT during menopause could be augmented with a series of male stripper movies of this performing caliber. Or at least it will disguise the hot flashes well enough to where you’re body can’t decide if it’s indeed the Change or Channing.

Alternative therapies aside, I have to say the boy can dance and he seems very grounded about appreciating how this talent changed his life. If I could dance that way, I’m certain my bedroom would have a pole in it.

    • I want to see it after yr review! I saw a Roman movie with him in it, he was actually great. Very determined & noble looking – even in a toga & sandles!

  7. oh well Hiiiiiiiiiii there Chan! So, I haven’t seen you around these parts before, what brings you this way? I love that cowboy hat! You ride much? Yes, me too…. So anyway, We’re having a bunch of friends come over for dinner next Saturday, you should definitely come. No, no, you only need to bring…. yourself….”

  8. He was in that dance ovie Steping Up… or something like that name. He was good. I need to go meet Majic Mike! LOL!!

  9. NO FUR.

No fur = not adult male=not interested.

Does anyone else remember the Cleo centerfolds ? What struck me most about them (especially in comparison to today was a) How *lean* the men were, not muscly per se and b) How hairy they were…..

    • You know, the last 3 men I have been involved with sported no fur. One was intentional, he was a wax-er and hated body hair. The others were smooth-chested Toros. I have limits to chest hair – would rather none at all than all-over fur. I prefer my rugs on the floor not attached to a man’s pectorals hahahaha ;)

    • Never dated a furry one. Only because of the boys being either much younger than me or part asian, or inca or whatevs. Am sure it must be cuddly tho! I remember as a girl feeling the brawny older men were both intimidating & too heavy. As a mature woman (or immature woman!) I love the heavness of older men & find the young men unsubstantial and ungrounded. But no opinion on fur..

    • Hmm, I like both. I think it depends on how the fur/no fur is sported. If we’re talking Yeti, then nooo.. but a tasteful streak of X shaped chest hair is delicious against the breastage.

Having dated surfers, I totes gets the shaving on the chest.. but I draw the line at men who shave their legs. My legs just simply have to be smoother than theirs. Funny how guys have such a varied comfort zone on grooming.. the Double Libran had a cadre of parfums but the use of lotion is no-go. The WHU on the other hand who went from a Clint Eastwood shag to full-on Jesus actually once suggested we have a braiding session. I said no.

      • that’s true … I have to say though I don’t know any (male.. or female actually lol) surfers who shave their chest. Shaved legs yes are wierd, and I figure that anyone who is enough of an athlete to be shaving their legs probably isn’t compatible with me anyway ;)

    • Hell yes!!! Man O man still remember Jack Thompson
reclining over that log on the beach…… his beautiful furry chest ???? ahhhhhhhhhhh xx

  10. As for CT’s transcendent ass-scendant, vainglorious as it sounds i am voting for Leo. Because he dances as well as acts, was a stripper for real and It would give him Venus in the 11th & Mars Rising. He looks a bit Aries too..

  11. Some of you might not be attracted to him but he for sure ain’t ugly. He can get it. Him and his pony. his wife his lucky she get to see those moves everyday.

  12. Oh god I just fell in love (or whatever) with him when I first watched Step Up with my kids years ago! No formal dance training and just awesome! And yes what a body! But he’s just so likeable too…even more so cos he and his co-star in Step Up fell in love and got married a few years after :)

    • And a good sense of humour to boot…(great comic timing in 21 Jump St – I’ve always been a sucker for a silly movie or a dancing one!)

  13. BAHAHAHHAA. I see that like my bestie and I – Hardly anyone likes him sexually. I used to when I was a teenager, but when I grew out of it, I began to see him as quite dull.

He’d be an astonishing match for me, but he doesn’t play any interesting roles whatsoever. He’s very much one of those typical Hollywood pretty boys that are installed in romantic comedies for a decade then are pushed off of the assembly line when another hot-20/30 something comes along.

Magic Mike would be the only interesting role he’s played to date. I’m a sucker for romances, but Channing Tatum is the poster boy for the 2000′s i-saw-this-thinking-of-the-boyfriend-i-wish-i-had – flicks.

Do a write up on someone more interesting like Michael Pitt, TOM HARDY or Christian Bale!

    • It’s interesting you say that about him – I agree he’s totally bland in rom-coms. However, after seeing 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike, I really think he’s an interesting actor who has just been badly cast in past films. I dare say he’s a comic actor in a romantic lead’s body. Hopefully as his star rises, he will be able to appear in more films that suit his personality and acting abilities and he might actually have some longevity.

      • He’s was the only good thing that that dreadful comedy the Dilemma. I suggest you guys what A guide to recognizing your saint. One of best role to date. Got him some sun dance and spirit nominations.

I cant hate the guy for doing rom-com since he has reason for it. Here is what he said to details
“”"you gotta do the Dear Johns. You gotta do The Vow’m conscious about why I did those parts, those movies,” Tatum explains. “I wanted to learn from Rachel [McAdams] on The Vow. I wanted to learn from Lasse Hallstrom on Dear John — he did The Cider House Rules and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. I didn’t go to acting school, so my knowledge of story, filmmaking and character comes from just being on set and doing it. I know I’m not the best actor, but I hope my characters are getting better.”"

      • Or what about some of the funny guys – Ricky Gervais (Cancer) or Will Farrell (Cancer). Both have moon in Scorp with Merc retro in Cancer. Then there’s Steve Carrell (Leo).
I could watch and listen to them for hours. All hilarious!!

  14. Gr-rreat photos. I have Mars in Leo too.
Yeah, I don’t like to coast, makes me nervous.
Relaxing, so I can reinvigorate my battle steady chi is another thing.
(that sounds so Mars in Leo)

  15. AW i think hes the same as me! i think hes taurus – taurus rising – virgo moon. i like him, hes very loveable. esp. in 21 jump street.
