The Scorping
Hey Guys, I am taking a few days off the blog to do The Scorping…my Saturn in Scorpio Horoscopes.
It’s not just Saturn in Scorpio from October that we have to look forward to. Think: North Node of the Moon in Scorpio from August, Saturn into Scorpio and trining Neptune (yay!), the super-duper Solar Eclipse in Scorpio of Mid-November, Saturn trine Jupiter in mid-2013, more Scorpio Eclipses, Saturn trine Chiron, Saturn and Pluto in Mutual Reception, Saturn in Scorpio retro Venus in Capricorn from Nov 2013 to March 2014, Mars in Libra from Dec 2013 until July 2014…until FINALLY it gets into Scorpio and conjoins Mars – both squaring Jupiter in Leo.
So anyway, Subscribers, you will get an email when they are posted. And in the meantime, the Horoscopes appear as usual and the Oracle is, of course, 24-7 lol.

It is like opening a present isn’t it! I’ve never heard of the term mutual reception in astrology before.
Can anyone advise?
Mutual reception means if two planets are in the other one’s sign e.g. If Venus was in Leo and if the Sun was in Libra (Venus ruling Libra, and the Sun ruling Leo).
Or.. the Moon was in Aries (ruled by Mars, which rules Aries), and Mars was in Cancer (ruled by the Moon, and sign Cancer).
My Saturn in scorpio in 1st house. Yayness to Saturn return in the next 2 year. LOL

My natal pluto and saturn and south node are in Scorpio. The november eclipse will be smack bang on my natal saturn as transiting Saturn is right on top of natal pluto…….

saturn pluto seems very house specific. You look on line it will tell you about this and that. What I found is it made me feel extremely hardcore about what transit saturn on my natal pluto wanted to address, mine is libra in the 4th house so it’s about home and strangely health and self nurturing (but its all stomach related and female ancestor line hormone so..)
I actually moved country to tempt fate at what looked to be the destruction around a sense of “home” and what to build. So what house and aspects will drive this. I am still in the conjunct sphere as well. It’s not to fear but like all saturn transits. Planning helps.
Yes good point! Mine is in the 4th house as-well! Last three months I’ve suffered a big physical setback….chronic fatigue triggered by burnout and old relationship trauma surfacing. I’ve been holed up at home forced to face all the issues I’ve been running away from for years. That is sort-off explained by saturn transiting the 4th…. but it hasn’t hit pluto yet…and my pluto is transiting my 6th of health…. bit freaked that Im gonna suffer another setback. You’re completely right about the planning, I’ve been juicing and yoga-ing myself to build my reserves for the future (and seeing my therapist of course, how scorpio….)
I am also planning to move country – for a year at least anyway – and this will happen during all the Scorping. You took the words right out of my mouth on the destruction around a sense of home (and psyche as well, its ruled by the 4th a bit I believe)
Planning and prepping galore over here, just concerned that scorpio has a real nasty underworld side (dealing with some of that at the moment… disturbing the web of a very big spider that cohabit with)

just make sure you have good people around you. the issue of support has been a massive nobodyfuckswiththisspace dealbreaker. If you get sick you needs hands, confront shame to ask for more, confront it all -just make sure your nest has your best people in there. It really brought home for me what was never there and will destroy (or you will by turning into a hardcore linedriver) anything remotely not solid to take it’s place. Who the hell is your spider co hab? yikes, I guess its one manifestation to live with/in a kind of web/hell being in scorpio or you could play it out on a more personal level as to make it a sanctuary that is your underworld and spiritual HQ where you rule in a realm of the dead protected by voodoo queens in your sleep?x

Yes yes, so pertinent! The spider is my brother in law – who is gay but is cultivating a beard. Beard as in a very nice girl who wants to marry him and have kids – but who hasn’t quite cottoned on what she’s heading into. I told him I would tell and well…. feels like lifting up a rock and all the little insects start scampering around… All his manipulative tactics and lies are coming out, invalidating me, poisoning her against me, intimidating me etc etc. For me its about moral responsibility. But anyway its war – espionage, sabotage and an old fashioned staring contest. Im immensely strong but because of all the darksided Scorp South node pluto and saturn other karmic mates have put on me in the past. Perhaps time to make lemonade out of lemons and protect the weak.
Spiritual sanctuary is bang on, it feels like my psyche is being purified scorpion to white dove thing and my new witchy powers are not to let peoples f-cked secrets ruin the lives of others. But what a psychological strain! Thanks for your insight, it is priceless x:)

Interesting – i spoke to anthony ashworth today (you can google him) he is one of the most amazing space clearers/ghost-busters/entity removal/aura cleansing guys in the world and HE SAID he has been rushed off his feet with business in the last week or so. Basically since Uranus sq Pluto for the first time. I dunno if it is an awareness thing or peeps are SO wanting profound change, that they want to effect it at all levels OR there is an actual spike in supernatural activity. but interesting…

This is going to be great. Looking forward to it. I also have the NN conjoining Saturn on my Natal NN in my first house in late September of 2013. Also within a 5 degrees of the Asc . Should be interesting times. I personally am getting off on all this energy. I think it’s great! We’re only here for so many years, may as well explore as much growth as we can while here yes? Something’s going weird with time in my world … guy who I was dating decided I’m too young for him (pretty sure the age diff was the same when we started out); my body, which had finally got the message that 53 is time for the plumbing to take a break, changed it’s mind again; and now the clock on my oven, which stopped working years ago, has started madly scrolling through time and I can’t stop it! Maybe I should be on the Goddess Particle post? Something’s out of alignment!

I did pick fruit once for about 3 days when I was a student in melbourne up on the murray river, I can safely say of all things I have never excelled at, this was by far my largest achievement. I was the slowest fruit picker ever according to the farm owner, who was also amazed I packed a co ordinated set of outfits for the experience.

OMG it sounds exhausting!!!! Although I think that despite being a Scorpio I have far more Libra planets/houses/angles/energy/asteroids etc so perhaps it’ll actually be a breeze in comparison.

Has anyone check out the Walter Pullen charts Ms. was looking at? I am interested in understanding how he chooses which aspects have the most ‘power’. Ms?
Someone else can probably answer this better as I am not sure on the method exactly, this would be an astrologer question, but the weight in theory ( and educate me if I am incorrect ) of any kind would be on strength of placement, regularity of aspects, chart rulers etc.
Using my chart as an example, My 2 top conjunctions are merc/sun and venus/neptune. Mystic mentions this in her DIY astro as being one of the strongest aspects (conjunction) Being that Mercury is my chart ruler and I have a pretty full 3rd and 6th house, with some strong aspects to my asc and mercury is in a stellium with uranus and the sun, this would clearly seat mercury strongly. The sun was my 2nd which I think is due to it being in it’s home of the 5th house and the stellium mentioned (conjunctions) and other strong aspects to planets. Pluto was my next because it is my sign ruler and I have a lot of aspects to pluto, even though the weight of a conjunction is not there.
So even though I have venus and neptune conjunct exact and it is a major feature of my person, neither was higher than these in terms of a percentage when taking in all the very formal astrology considerations of house placement, chart rulers and aspect heavy via weight
I have been going over my Walter Pullen chart a few times since you posted on this, it really adds a whole new dimension to your chart understanding, I love it!

The reason I ask is becoz, as you might know, I am also Merc Rising and my heaviest weighted planet % wise is Mercury.
Even so, at a ‘power’ of 50, I am given to understand that my strongest aspect is Neptune trine Pluto?
At 2nd is Saturn square Pluto (24 power).
Have a grand water trine involving Mercury, Moon & Jupiter & a Merc/Sat conj that are given short shrift! Curious to know if you think you understand that. (I only have Mars in the 3rd tho).
I think ( and again, guestimate) the point is based on these formal ruling points and the aspects that are strongest are major features of character (like my example with venus.nept in my chart. It does not mean that I am without influence nor your trines as that will be at the forefront of your character the closer they are to aspect exact) but that ruling aspects and such are to govern, like your asc is not an aspect to weigh, it just rules your axis of asc and your merc and sun placement (cause you are leo or any other 3/6 and 5 will be prominent ) I didn’t look at the power ratio only the percentages and then the signs in order. It gave me more an overview perspective of function which I think is how to take this chart because it does not change your strongest relationships to exact conjunctions. Your strongest aspects are still your exact ones or closest too. so if your grand trine is close to exact or the neptune pluto then that is what is it. I didn’t look at the power aspect thing because I counted mine ages ago and highlighted everything in a 3 degree or more thing from the normal table in astrodeinst. It’s impossible for anyone to answer I imagine without seeing the degree’s of the angles but you can see them so I wouldn’t worry about the power thing if it makes no sense because you can check it out by counting.
Thank you Ms. It’s still a bit of a mystery to me as the the numbers are all 2 deg apart, trines, sextiles, squares and conjunctions, so it must be something else. Like you, I think someone would need a squiz at the chart to see. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge darling.
