I was going to write ‘My Mars Tool’ but that sounds a bit, you know, dodgy. But anyway i just got the most awesome device ever for Mars in Virgo…It’s a Nike Fuelband, you can sleep in it, shower in it and it tells you calories burned, steps taken and – yes – the time. I don’t really like ordinary watches; with Aquarius rising they often conk out on me + they’re too Saturn.
Fuelband is more Mars-Saturn, really, It looks like a plain black rubber wristband but press it and the led display lights up – way to feel like an alien spy already. Highly recommend it for Mars in Aries, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn type peeps. This is just the start of the Uranus in Aries ingenuity – soon they’ll ones that can measure endorphins, DHEA, neural pathways, when your next hit of lucky Jupiter is gonna be. If i had a spare million of venture, i’d make an astro one lol.
And yes, Nike is a Goddess (of Victory) and an asteroid – more here.
Lol. It sounds ingenious but I much prefer a watch… Kilojoule-counting has creeped me out after I started reflecting on when I was an exercise-obsessed 19 year old, I had a great ass but man supermarket shopping took a long time (choosing the lower-kilojoule rice cakes, lower-fat cottage cheese…). I would force myself to run an extra 3km to ‘burn off’ the chocolate biscuit I had eaten earlier. You know, I am pretty sure I was going through a saturn-MC or saturn-Venus transit at the time too…
Same. At first I was like, ‘Yesss, I need one now’ then remembered how obsessive I was re calories in the 80s. Yes, thin as, but not exactly a beacon of health. Would have loved one of these devices back in the day. Vodka + lettuce v 3 hours dancing round handbag at sleazoid club; large burger +fries at 4am v 6 hours of aerobics to ‘balance it out’ lol.

BUT I still remember odd facts from the time (my memory was hyper-primed to remember facts and figures, I was studying science after all) – one cubic centimetre of body fat holds about 30kJ ?(i think?) or maybe it was one gram… one calorie = ~4kJ…resting muscle burns kilojoules about 6 times faster than fat.. something like that. Wow, I really WAS obsessed.
Hehe, facts like that would’ve really messed with my head back then. Maybe it’s my Mars in Virgo. Something like, ”what is the optimal speed with which to pick up this shot glass to minimise nano-grams gained from guzzling the hooch.” lol.

Once when riding a drafty Sydney suburban train, standing near the open doors.I looked down at my watch to see how fast we were going. Not yet Caroline. Not yet. I figured about 70mph. Quite quick.
If it could tell me what speed I was doing, the temperature and altitude I could be tempted, it’s limitless really, . . . transits, all sorts of astro data could be mounted on a nano chip . . . .
iPhones love. That’s what they do.
It should measure your actual energy levels, then it would be a true Mars/Virgo breed, lol

I saw a similar sort of device that you wear in your sleep, as a headband. It has a little sensor in the center of your forehead. It looks uncomfortable and I surely couldn’t sleep wearing one. It doesn’t look sophisticated enough to measure brain waves or anything cool like that. As I understand it, it just measures your head movements, so it can tell when you’re frozen solid (which I guess is REM sleep) or you’re tossing and turning. And then it sends all that data to your iPhone for analysis. I’m not sure what the point is. What does it do, measure when you’re having fitful sleep and tossing and turning, and then set off an alarm to wake you up and tell you to stop tossing and turning?
Oh they made a Saturn headband. I loved how Saturn would make me sleep poorly with worry over all the tasks undone, half done, new tasks to be done, tasks not done well enough. Then Saturn would kindly remind me that not sleeping well was going to wreck my efficiency the following day.
I think it just records all your sleep data so you can put it in a spreadsheet and make graphs. That way, you can obsess over your sleep patterns and blame the problems your waking hours on your sleep.
Anyone know what kind of price this thing will be? Could do with one myself
Just googles all about this baby – £149.00 Have just read a few duff reviews on it too – it apparantly over estimates steps taken and calories burned………..Wait for the newer model I think…
you are totally right there. I’m mars in Virgo – hate watches ( can usually make a good guess of the time and am usually right within 15 mins these days – it was 5 mins when I was younger), usually hate gadgets but this looks like my sort of thing………..
Have not seen one of these but love how , in your description , it is camouflaged and changes it’s appearance upon performance request. Chameleon on a mission to serve sounds like a great design principle .
I too have aqua rising and watches don’t do well for me either–wear one infrequently. It was a gift and very nice so if it doesn’ t have continuous contact with my skin for a long period of time it shoud do ok.
Speaking of Mars (ok, this is a flimsy segue), I think I may have just experienced my first ever case of Sexual Napalm. His Mars conjunct my Venus. Oh. My. G. Only thing is, they’re in different signs, conjunct in aspect only (1 degree).

Am Mars in Virgo, Cancer stellium type Leo, can’t do watches. This watch is not for me.
I like a more romantic vision of time.
Am working on being aware of the exact phase of the Moon throughout the day instead.

Cool! I decided to check out the Astrodea watch, apparently it is difficult to use and has a few major drawbacks. You need different watches for the Northern and Southern hemisphere. It is extremely difficult to set the time accurately. You need to make some difficult astronomical calculations of sidereal time based on your location on the globe and input several variables, not just the time. So if you move somewhere else, even north/south in the same time zone, you need to reset the watch. And then, it takes a powerful magnifier to actually see the features of the watch.
And I thought a regular watch with just a date was such a pain in the ass that I stopped wearing watches completely.
The only thing I like about this watch is the complexity! I don’t get out much at the mo, maybe a southern hemisphere watch is all I need? It’s pretty gorgeous though isn’t it – “it’s full of stars”…
i love it, can’t have enough bright neon lights i day or night !
a faceted crystal led version would be nice for daywear, esp. when out and about on a sunny day. matching sunnies would be cool too, ones that hypnotise various trippers into a valium like induced calm…
i would like a watch that gives hourly motivation videos when it senses low energy slacking off, and half-hourly energetic healing that pulses thru all my chakras please…and it would be nice if integrates and syncs to my i-thingies as well…don’t want much really

I tell the time according to how loudly The Swarm are cheeping… silence & then faint crunching sounds tell me that they’ve eaten the dog and its probably time for lunch….

My mars is in virgo, the watch is nice. I really need something to get my fear out of not DJing perfectly. Wow when i first got my equipment, i used to get all excited and just did it. Wonderful mixes came out and some that maybe I was not in the zone. But trying to fit a 6 hour set of dynamics into a 1hr20min cd is quite daunting with my virgo mars i gotta watch that the plight of perfection stops me from having fun.
If the watch said nobody notices its not totally perfect but you. I might buy it.
