End of June is right on cue for Greece – June 17 election and an exit from the Euro. I don’t think Greece will exit first though. I read a compelling argument about why Germany should be the first to leave the Euro, which basically stated that if Greece exit and return to the Drachma, it will create serious problems for the Bundesbank. Anyway, interesting scenario.
Is there any way you could post a link to that article? I think Germany departing from the Euro would be a brilliant idea and have read bits and pieces about this not too far-fetched scenario.
Germany operates best alone. If Greece returns to the drachma, we are talking about a domino effect that will financially take down all the Mediterranean plus Ireland.

My thoughts exactly. Leaving the € would not be good for Germany. The mark’s value would be so high that the rest of Europe wouldn’t be able to buy their exports. I think that’s why they haven’t jumped out of the wagon yet.
In my opinion, the EU can’t stay the way it is. It’s heading towards an enormous failure, and the measures taken seem to be set on making matters worse. It was a great idea that somehow went to hell.

Is not foreigin affairs they fear, is their home affairs that’s been coming undone by going “duty free” through EU. The foreighin manpower influx has being cutting the working prices down to 1/5, which by defalut leads to the pauperization of the national tax funds. EU is robbing them blind ~

I will try and respond as best as I can… I have a horrible cold atm and my head is foggy, so I apologise in advance if it sounds confusing.
I know Germany leaving the EU is hard to get your head around because all the focus has been on Greece. BUT there are so many reasons why they might and the second most compelling element to the argument is FRANCE exiting. So all this time we are Greece, Greece etc. But France is also up to her eyeballs in debt as most of the EU members are however France and Germany are the top two countries of the EU.
Firstly Merkozy is no longer a partnership as Hollande – a socialist – was recently elected. So a new deal must be made between (and I love the new name for the partnership between Merkel and Hollande – MERDE). Anyway Merde come from very different places and in the meantime Merkel is losing key seats in elections as we speak.
There are so many benefits for countries leaving the Euro firstly, they can’t be competitive in trade because the dollar is fixed. They all look the same so there is no competition. Germany had been going great because they have become great trade partners with China – making the US weary. But the rest are suffering because the austerity packages do not promote growth. So they don’t have opportunities like Germany. Germany only reported 0.5% growth in the last quarter anyway, so not that great.They’re starting to feel it.
Mystic is spot on – this is about the banks doing what they want and governments not legislating accordingly. People are now paying for the banks and government major fuq up and they’re not going to put up with it for long. I’d say by 2013 Merkel is either out of a job as Chancellor or Germany are out of the EU. They can’t afford to bail out countries forever, it isn’t realistic. And austerity packages are not realistic. Something has got to give and I bet it will be Germany, France, Portugal and then Greece to go all very quickly.

Besides all this world economy chaos, I do reckon that the building zap zone is great for encouraging change in my own life. I know there will be a time when the astro is more supportive of a holiday on a lovely, coral lagoon in the Philippines, blue skies, still waters…… When exactly is that, Mystic?
Anyway, in the meantime, I am increasingly riling against what I perceived to be shoddy business practices in my own community. There’s a lot of mini-corruption out there and it’s making me pull back on consumption.

Thanks ALS. I really meant instead of just focusing on the government corruption. For example, in the last few days I have taken on an online retailer for failing to disclose they were selling production samples, a landscaper for giving out my personal contact details without permission to their business interests, and a communications company for failing to keep notes of reductions to my services. If people won’t do business honestly and transparently, someone who will will take their place or I can simply give up the goods or services. I think these are good ways in which we can all bring change at the community level.
As it happens, my vocation means I have to confront international corruption on a regular basis.

My new thing – this is vesta on the IC – get espresso machine to do coffee at home but it will be fairtrade/organic so that + wheatgrass shot = excellent. Also am going to re-begin with making my own bread and add in loads of superfoods – tumeric and garlic for a start. Health is the first Wealth. Plus micro-economics – the mark-up on banana bread (example) is insane.
ALSO i think if the key issue of the global financial fuqery is one sentence it is not about greece. It is how a bunch of financiers have been able to make outrageous profits/bonuses betting other peeps money but been able to socialize the losses – ie get the taxpayer to foot the bill. There are people right now scrambling to claw as much cash as poss before they bail…I’m not left or right about any of this btw, all politicians have been equal opportunity slack when it comes to legislating all this.
I have been baking gluten free bread this year as I hated paying big$ for a loaf of it. Have now developed my own gluten free pumpernickle recipe which is also really low GI.

I’ve been attributing this to Jupe in Taurus but I have been lately craving really good bread, doing away with that supermarket merde, finding proper bakeries and looking for recipes to bake my own. I was going to get a breadmaker but have decided just to do it in the oven, the simpler the better. Want to get into the whole ritual of the kneading/resting etc and have the smell of bread in the house. This is unprecedented for me but seems to represent some kind of nesting/homey urge.
Get a breadmaker – you can set them to go off at 6.30 in the morning with fresh bread
I make sourdough – I can make it completely by hand, but use the breadmaker to do the kneading, then rise it overnight and bake it early in the morning… GORGEOUS. But not quite as fabulous as setting the breadmaker to go “ping” at 6.30 with a load of Breakfast Bounty ….

Sorry – can’t really help on this one. I have to say though, that if you are going to eat bread, deffo get a breadmaker. They earn themselves back in about 6 months, especially if you like fancy spelt or rye loaves…

I think so, im uranian and i love equality & not just because im gay. I see most people are concentrating on economy, this is this is not just about money. This is finding out everything you have been doing for yourself going to a centrailized power. Which in reality is using most of its citizenry like a battery off a matrix.

I think that it does, if you approach it the right way in your heart and have analysed why it is you feel a certain way about the moola. Danielle Laporte (google name for website) has some good ideas around money and business, establishing your worth. Growing a business of any sort takes time and effort. You could also offer an exchange option perhaps, if there are people who could offer you services you need in return? the local fruit and veg grower, massage therapist, ….

NO charge for a talent that probably cost you to acquire then give it away is undervaluing yourself,
(and won’t bring Portofino closer). Professionals charge then 40% is re-invested in updating, workshops, research, advertising,products and generals improvements.

The only problem I have is that I was very poor for a long time as a student, and it just gets my goat that people want to charge hundreds of dollars for things. I am quite sure that they have invested a huge amount of personal time and energy into creating that thing or service, but as a poor person, I couldn’t access it, no matter how hard I tried.
A Shamanic healing here in Perth costs $150 minimum… So poor people don’t get to get them. Ack, there must be some way around this. I’ve already put a free reading up on my site. And I take your point, Pegasus, about people taking all they can. Maybe doing some Volunteer work at the hospitals (we have quite a good Complementary centre going at one of the local hospitals…) or having a free clinic once a week for pension card holders. I am already very open to the idea of Barter

I agree. I am happy to pay for good practitioners but in Perth you can get any person setting themselves up as a ‘healer’, charging $200 and saying, ‘you just need to relax, get in touch with your intuition’ . Now I only take recommendations from my most trusted peeps.

She doesn’t charge much, considering how good she is… Its just I’m exploring Shamanism and I am gobsmacked at how much some people charge – both for healings and for teaching…. I suppose if they’ve had to go to South America repeatedly, then they have a lot of investment to recoup, but still….
I’d be cautious about 10,000 Shamanic anything. The ones I worked with choose me and didn’t charge a dime.
The most I ever paid was $100. Ever that I felt the healer was in for the money and was a con job. Follow your intuition. You may have more knowledge then you think.

It’s respectful to pay someone for their time don’t you think? One can never pay the Divine for their intercession but we can acknowledge the channel through which healing occurred.

I know a fantastic shamanic healer in Perth, and although she charges $150 the sessions usually last around 3 hours are well worth every penny. She and her husband are the real deal, no gimmicks, no new age crap. She and he also do shaman training and it costs $850 total for 9 massive initiations.

Shamanism is something I am just starting to explore, and obviously I have an issue in that my own background is Celtic/English and I really don’t think it is appropriate to take on aspects of other people’s cultures and especially not their spirituality. At the same time I am intrigued with what I have heard of Journeying and am interested in the concept of soul fragmentation and soul retrieval (although it sounds like very deep work…)
I am also constrained by the fact that I live in a country in which the indigenous culture has been decimated with the result that it is rare to the point of being almost unheard of for someone outside the culture to be admitted to these levels of learning.
So in the country I live in, my home, I feel that I have no place trying to gain this knowledge (this is a very strong feeling, too).
In the home of my ancestry I IMMEDIATELY felt the spiritual connection when I went there as an adult. But I live here. As does my family and my husbands family *sigh* Between a rock and a hard place, as they say…
But am enjoying exploring a new area of spirituality
even if it has thrown up many sharp pebbles into my path for me to deal with

As I work doing modern shamanic healing I can say that I do not feel uncomfortable about what I charge. If I am guided I charge less, for exchange or sometimes for free. The problem with no charge is that people often don’t value their experience regardless of the results!
I charge $120 and I spend a minimum of two hours with a client.
That is not a lot given that I deal with soul retrieval, exorcism and all sorts of wonderful and fascinating stuff that has taken me not one – but in fact many lifetimes to learn!! Lol.

Nice site but does not state anywhere that it is organic, I do like the pyramid grow beds though. You might not get 100 percent, but its best to aim for it. Esp if you can afford it. or if you wanna try and grow non organic, till you get the hang, then grow organic.

If they dont use the word organic or talk about the importance of organics, Its not, it might be “green” because you are planting it yourself and not using your cars gas to go to the store or, using a product with a large carbon footprint.
But usually if a product is organic, they are proud of that meaning and fact, and will have it stated.
I dont wanna make you waste money though, if this is your first time, do the non organic garden first year get the hang. because it will be more expensive for organic seeds.
When i’m really low in motivation and feel underappreciated, i usually know that there will be a turnaround coming soon.
IT HAPPENED TODAY.
Sudden super cool structured step by step advice from an unofficial mentor. LOADS of work attached to it, but there was loads of work anyway, and this time it’s got a greater purpose. I haven’t been able to look to my official “mentors” for guidance or support, and i was at a loss and losing my faith in what i’m doing.
Time to work quietly and with renewed Zap Zone appropriate purpose. Washed out at the mo but i am gonna be so ON TARGET and think a good rest will see me awake with properly channelled MARTIAN CAPRICORNIAN PURPOSE. How freaking cool is that? I even think i can get my squares to help drive me. Plus Pluto trine Saturn: they give me shit and i turn it into gold. I love hard work but only with long range purpose and greater good to it.
And the Oracle this morning said it all, only i didn’t quite get how it would work until the day panned out. The new Oracle is a complete fqing treasure, Mystic, and you don’t know how much i appreciate it xx
I have been feeling wiped out since the lead up to the eclipse at 0d Gemini. I have come to see it as Leo Asc does not do well in Zap Zone, and from memory, you have Leo MC, no? So, that could be why you have felt a bit under appreciated with work related. I have also felt under appreciated, but I have Sun Sq Pluto and it’s a fairly big deal for me as the Sun is my chart ruler also.
Today, I wrote out an action plan which also sees me hybernating into a womb of work plan to lift me out of a rut. I feel great about putting it into action, as well as actioning better health care regime as Pluto is in my 6th and urging me to transform my daily habits so I better support my energy levels – and I feel compelled to do it like yesterday already

Yes, Leo MC was on my mind, and contemplating it was the catalyst for naming the feeling. The appreciation i’m seeking = encouragement and practical support to help me do something i’ve never actually done before (not quite to this level). That has been sorely lacking. Personally i’m not tremendously ambitious, in terms of glory or acknowledgement, but i need to know my work is appreciated on that practical level, to help me do it well. I’ve got an AQUA on side. Perfect! What the Aqua will help me achieve should be excellent for the clients, the project and the workplace reputation. But it is up to me to do the work itself. Should suit my Uranus Venus Libra Aqua aspects in 3rd and 11th, plus detail oriented Lilith in Virgo 10th H and Mars in Cap 2nd. Working independently for the good of a greater group!

Yes, been reading the Leo scopes for my MC and Virgo for my 10th, but with a metaphorical squint so that i read through the flavour of the houses, rather than as if it’s my sun. Weirdly though, it’s my Sun, Moon Asc scopes that do the do.

I am well pleased to be living in NORTH Cyprus whic is out of the Eurozone and supported by Turkey whose economy is booming and is so far out of the E.C. South Cyprus is going down the gurgler as it is so closely tied to Greece. And we have bought our apartment, own our car, and have somehow managed to get rid of all our debt and end up with some small savings. Phew, wiping sweat from brow, just before the Zap Zone! Food is cheap here if you eat the Turkish-Cypriot way – vegies, bread, local seasonal food, wonderful green and black olives produced locally, freshly pressed olive oil from the local oil presses. Little meat as it is really expensive, but since we’ve been here our appetites have dropped, we enjoy the local food and have avoided the British stodge which is available all over the place. Feel heaps better.

Strangely enough, despite the insomnia, rage at being disrespected and not heard, and stress, I have been extremely efficient at admin/socialising/sorting out stuff/helping friends etc. and I’m doing some beautiful paintings! Also having unlimited ideas about freelance work… design/creative and brand new stuff / pitching like crazy which I know is going to take my income up to a whole new level… in a few months.

And then the dick shows up again today pretending he needs to use the computer to check something….uhhhh…..you have a phone and could have called someone to get the details in a minute.
WHY IS HE SUCH AN IDIOT? Please illuminate me. He also manages to be extremely lovely and sweet and nice other times and then wrecks it by being an idiot.

Your personal boundaries are a matter of privacy protected by your values and the law. Disrespecting that is both a personal and a legal violation. But if you waver to let him in even to argue, you are saying it is ok to disrespect your word. No need to shout at him. Be clear, firm and pleasant. To yourself first.
Do you see him outside your home at the moment? Have you let him use your computer before? Can you tell him you can’t see him while he is disrespecting your privacy? Or are you willing to put up with crap because he’s cute? There are plenty of cute AND respectful people out there. He’s only one of these things right now. Good luck.

It’s hard!! I am not one to have great boundaries. I haven’t even seen anyone for years and thought it would be different but I’m manifesting the same thing.
I guess I only let him in because I was feeling really helpless and shit about other things and had no idea how to handle the situation. I was planning to talk to him tomorrow about it all and tell him that it’s not going to happen.
BUT THE THING IS: Last time I saw him, before this computer incident I said we should just be friends. And he agreed. AND HE STILL SHOWED UP.

I think I’ve been zapped, and I’m done. The changes I instituted 3 years ago are now time-tested and have shown to be solid. If I do nothing differently, I will still continue to thrive and build. The only major adjustment was throwing out my original goal of having my own house by the end of this year. It is easy enough to buy a house, but getting rid of one is a lot harder, and I’m not ready to settle in one place yet. The pressure I was under to secure a solid foundation is gone. Instead of forced growth, it’s choice now. I feel a lot lighter, more carefree, especially since the eclipse.
Interesting – no wait, amazing – how the zap zone is occuring as much in my personal life ( doing great so far, ”haute zap zone” to paraphrase Mystic ) as it is really happening globally.
