Uranus In Aries Is The Cat-Daddy Of Invention

The inventive edge of Uranus in Aries has its flying cars & invisibility cloaks thrills.

But the planet of radical innovation in the sign of pioneering D.i.Y. is also going to manifest as genius little inventions like the Thirsty Bag, see below.

I am going to do a members-only special rant re the Zap Zone (Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn for the next, yes, three years…arguably four) but the quick version is that we are ALL having to find new ways of doing things.

The Astro right now is that Neptune in Pisces any moment is like a shamanic oceanic vibe urging us to surrender all the old dreams that no longer have ANY resonance.

Then there’s Uranus in Aries urging individuation and fuq anyone who’s not with it.

The just now gathering force square to Pluto in Capricorn?

That would be the transformation of the entire global financial structure.  For the better but, well, you know how intense Pluto transits can be.

This is why my Weekly & Daily Horoscopes (the monthly Oestro Medusa is more mellow and fashionable, as it’s from In Style) are getting increasingly super-heated.

We’re all going to be doing this Zap Zone together – not just surviving but thriving.  Honestly, all Neptune is doing right now is just making us update our dreams, fantasies, transcendental habits, art and psyche so that we’re more in synch with the Zap Zone.

It’s all the same deal: a once-in-a-lifetime epic & historical morphing.

I was talking to someone the other day who confidently asserted that this whole “Greek thing” was just a temporary aberration and that real estate, jobs, retail, confidence etc etc would all be back up again and normal by Easter.

It seemed super bizarre because in this conversation, it was like we were in different dimensions: he thought i was a total flake and i inwardly wondered if he’d actually consumed any media at all lately.  He didn’t get that an era has ended and it’s not coming back.

It’s bi-partisan. eg; Adbusters and the Economist agree on this.

Anshu Jain – the Aries (And Vegan!) incoming C.E.O. of Deutsch Bank totally gets it:  Talking re a 76% drop in fourth quarter profits, he said this week “High volatility is the new norm and one we’ll all need to just live with.” 

Yah, yah he is a banker, big salary and maybe part of the problem, whatever BUT that quote completely encapsulates the Zap Zone.

This is just the start.

The best way to get WITH the Zap Zone – as opposed to pretending it ain’t there – is to reinvent. Go Uranian for quick results.

That is, align with Uranus in Aries energy – invent yourself – every day.

Invent a garden to grow things – fuq gardens with buddha heads and wheatgrass – the market gardening look is SO in. Reinvent your relationships. Not resonating with friends? Get a new tribe. Or go it alone for a bit.

Obviously give new strategies some time to work before you abandon them but don’t be the creature caught gazing up at some monolithic old reality expecting it to deliver.

Don’t be the mastodon in the tar pit fossilized mid-sentence crapping on about how the evolution will never happen.

And, in the new Zap Zone era, debt is like napalm.

          Great ipod tips. Good to know. Having the convo at work re: marketing, it’s a whole different ballgame these days, the competitor isn’t just around the local corner anymore, they are global. Anything and everything can be bought and sold online now.
          I read vinyl is having a resurgence. I love my vinyl, can’t accidentally erase it. Vinyl is a fossil for sure, but sonically worth it.

            If I should have a wad of cash when leaving the bank, I put it in my bra. Someone gonna get the whole package in that case…lol

      But I think the idea about this all is the invention aspect, someone grabbed that idea, made a perhaps gimmicky product but nonetheless, one that will market well and probably sell like wildfire.

      Urban dictionary defines a cat daddy as a cool old guy who loves a lot of young women or ‘an old male hoe’. Leo. ;-)

        It’s not hard to notice notice Leo language doesn’t have much to do with Aries, but really, I’m just ‘urban’ enough not to need that dictionary on this one.

        Love the high end Leos, but Aries can leave the catting and catty stuff to the experts.

          I noticed the gas tank on my car is usually near empty…

          Have alot of energy but why have I not honored self and taken care of self as first priority…

      • Nah, you got the song right. You can trust an Aries about how they work it. It’s and old slang term derived from maquereau/maquerelle. Some of the kids are just not that steeped in the old school. It’s like playing telephone.

        IMO, Uranus and Aries, or Uranus in Aries ‘daddies’ invent far more like a mack than a cat.

  9. Excellent post. The new that was three years ago I’ve had to change to absorb that new that is 2012. It can be difficult to feel you are on solid ground with everything shifting constantly. Like earthquakes. Your feet may be on the ground in an earthquake but the ground is rolling and bucking. (LA native) That’s the world. And the quake ain’t over yet.

    We live in aftershocks. It’s the new reality.

  10. Yes Mystic this is an excellent post…It’s very ‘real’ and ‘now’ right in front of us all.

    It’s so fun when you recognise peeps assume that you’re a flake, but only of course when there’s little at stake that really matters at the end of day.

    What i’ve found truly amazing lately is how astrology is the only thing i’ve come across that coherently and intelligently and intricately describes everything that’s going on in the real world right now, like nothing else…And so many diss it…but saying all this i think it would be very interesting if it was ever revealed to the masses those who do use it and respect the using of it to understand and strategise stuff, important stuff :)

  11. Excellent post and I cannot agree more. On talking astrology to the uninitiated: do so at your own risk. You WILL come as as sounding completely batty. That’s just the reality of it as most people think it’s all about sun signs and one paragraph blurbs in the daily paper. Use your knowledge wisely — don’t waste it. (Well at least that’s what I’ve come to realize….)

    BTW I just realized I’ve booked an appointment with my Aquarian hair stylist almost to the minute that Neptune is entering Pisces. Should I be worried?? Lol

        uh oh is this Neptune in Pisces going to zing me back to completely no sense of clock time??? I used to have a love affair with abstract numbers but only learned to tell the time on a clock properly in my mid twenties. I divided up the clock as an astro wheel!

  12. LOL! You know what else works besides a thirsty bag to save your phone?
    Put dry regular white rice in a plastic bag. Leave there with phone 2 nights. It’ll probably work in 1 night but I never chance electronics. Ta-da! Water absorbed! Lo-tech!
    is there anything rice can’t do? :)

    Also, I just realized this website looks totally different with a Linux browser than a Mac. It’s less pretty on a Linux and harder to read.

    • On the Mac, there is a buttery beige background with words easy to read in contrast. On the Linux, the background is stark white with light hard to read grey letters. I keep making typos. :3

    • I am curious about all the changes on a grand level and a personal level.

      My aqua son is really feeling it and thinking about it.
      HIs mars at 29 degrees Aqua, 3 other planets in Aqua(sun, uranus, jupiter) So this neptune in aqua transit has really effected him(plus he has neptune conjunct sun).
      He has cappy rising and saturn in Aries, so this zap zone is really hittin home for him.
      He talks about the world at large, how it is trouble. Yet he continue forward with his dreams while incorperating his back up plans if the world goes to poo. I think he would be really worried about it except one, we own land with water. Two, we garden and can food. Three, I live by the ocean with fish, crabs, fresh water streams, tons of deer.
      YES, he is thinking like this. It is bothering him.

      ME? I set my life up like this at a very young age for the same reasons. I know things are changing, but not sure how in my own life. Have always been very independent and self reliant.

      • cause Mystic keeps mentioning mid 2011. Someone us Virgo peeps met then could return. I am virgo rising with venus conjunct.
        sigh….this past week it has been clear, I am not over multivirgo. We met mid 2011. Feelings of sadness, desire, and caring for him that I thought I had let go of. So yes I want him to return, hope he does, but don’t know if he will and if he does I would be so excited and scared.

        Along with those feelings, I also had a resurgance of anger at my ex(who happens to have mars at 29 degrees Aqua). I thought those emotions were dealt with too.

        I am ready for the new era. Bring it on.

      • New? Yes. Better? No. I have been teaching web design at universities for many years now, and even though the short and sweet bursts of content are very fashionable as evident in the conversation postings on Facebook and Twitter, they lend nothing towards those who read for pleasure. My mind needs more than 160 characters to be be satisfied. And I like my astro info to include more accurate explanations of planets and asteroids, not just images taken from other tumblr sites. Kim Falconer’s blog is calling…..

        • I find the images often inspiring, though we are not all the same. That’s why polarization is feeble-minded. Imagine thinking one’s distinctive needs should be forced on everyone!

          I like the way diversity is accepted on this blog, And the knock-down, drag out exchanges are interesting to see where people have unresolved stuff they are projecting.

  17. I agree with Cherb that it is harder to read posts because I have to click “read more.” But I love the content regardless, so i will always come back!
    This post is SO apt for the times. I am evolving and growing and vibrating at higher and higher levels every day. I am buzzing with new ideas and excitement. I am paying more attention to my thoughts and releasing what no longer serves me, trying to invite more change into my life. Qi vampires and low-level energies are no longer going to bring me down..My neptune into pisces wish is to shine brightly, be authentic, and be limitless. bring on the zap zone

    • Prefer the old format, but I am a fixed sign with a learning disorder, so never sure when the cause is internal or external.. ;-) Main hope is that the ‘previous’ and ‘next’ post buttons return to the TOP of the page, so hard scrolling down 200 comments to get to the next post on my flipping iPhone..

      • The one thing I think that makes a big difference in my opinion is that before the site was very ‘right side’ balanced. Its now left side with myst facing the other way. I actually think that changes peoples view of things quite a lot. If you could see it in a mirror version I think it would settle some people down.

          • yep dave, i sense that the change in orientation of the site has changed its dynamics…I am left-handed, but overall, uber-ambidextrous (do much with right hand) and strange thing is that to me, the site now seems right-oriented, not left oriented because of navigation on the right.
            but I’ve also been thinking that change in feel around here could instead be Mars retro in virgo opposing venus, which seems to bring out more critical nit-picky-ness in many than usual?

  19. Those people who think the economic climate is an aberration
    and that steady increase in value of everything is the norm freak me out! It’s like they have never studied nature, history, themselves… It’s funny because people don’t want to think negatively in case they manifest bad things, but they don’t want think realistically in case they have to face scary things either! Too bad they could fix some things if they did face up to things and investigate, I guess.

I have been listening to “World Party” by the Waterboys for the last several months–it has been my anthem through much upheaval, some joyous, some nerve-wracking… this before I knew a thing about what was coming with Neptune, Uranus, Pluto… I am sun 5 degrees Pisces…. and sun square ascendant, Saturn and Neptune (Saturn on my ASC, Neptune on my DC)… with natal Chiron in Aries, directly under the thumb of this Uranus. so ZAP is right– The over-turning began a while ago (is it possible I have felt it coming for 2 years…or is that something else… aka insanity?), but the intensity of this feeling of potential for Ka-Boom or Bloom right now is mind-boggling.

  23. So let me get this straight…go Uranian whilst I’m in my Uranus Opposition and my Moon in Aqua is processing in hyper speed i.e. predictive dreaming along with massive dreams of my late Piscean mother.

    Hmm. Now if I were still in Pluto, I’d take a flame thrower to my world but i ain’t.. I’d been reassigned from the mines to outta space. It’s either abandon ship, reconfigure the present world or just plain electrify a new one into being. We should really design an app called Zap Zone, you know designed to help you evolve via high voltage exposure.

    Or one called Neptune in Pi, a bio-art app that measures the symbiosis between your artistic sensibilities and consumption of Neptunian substances – obviously the ideal would be you walking out of a forest after 5 solid days on payote or your very own Bicycle day having produced a major work of art that somehow ends world hunger. Sort of thing.

    Personally, I am finding my life/work shifting to using virtuality in pursuing endeavors that involve business/art while spending the rest of the time in a Deep Silent Spiritual space out. It feels like I’m meditating with my finger in a socket. Fried hair anyone?
