Virgo-Tripping

Filed in Moon in Virgo

And now, after the excess of a Neptune-Dionysian Leonic Full Moon extravaganza; the Virgo Moon for the clean-up job. Devotion to tasks, triage mentality for your health and fitness + cleanliness will make you happy. Just don’t let your vibe descend into guilt-tripping, always a worry on this Moon.

I have a very Virgo resolution.  From now on I intend to incorporate sacred geometry and the Golden Mean into every aspect of my life.

  1. Love the resolution mystic – I did that for my shop all golden mean + also feng shui’d – didn’t know the measurements had to have a counter made without access to and based it all on the golden mean and measurements with vetruvian man style system and voila! counters fitted space perfectly – bizarre. All my work I do for $ is golden mean. It just works. Hard to explain to people when they want to know why a certain thing is in a certain place taking up so much space tho. Thanks for the virgo reminder am off to put it to a constructive use xxx

    • ps found out later my shop used to be larger with another one that was partitioned off next door and realised it had been divided using golden mean! Masons worked out the divvying of land in colonial times. Everything spirals.

  2. As I sit here in clutter adrift the Leo Moon overhang Friday night Cali time….

Virgo Moon conjunct IC as Aries /Cap Moon….”tomorrow is another day”

And we damn well will be organized come Sun up….but still, for right now…

    “Is Devon here?’

    Not sure..

  3. Yes, there is clutter everywhere, laundry has gotten backed up, really need to devote time to Virgo cleaning regimes; but still under a Leo Moon here, so going out with friends for icecream sundaes instead! Weeeeee!

    • Laundry and clutter are next on my list. Right now, I’m Virgo-ing out on food (most of it healthy)—and exercised a bunch today.

I’m thinking an excellently proportioned cocktail—perhaps using the golden mean as a guide—is in order, too.

      Laundry and clutter, tomorrow.

  4. The Flower of Life paradigm.
MM your statement to incorporate the perfect balance into
your life, would be a statement of the highest ‘Feng Shui’
    available to mortals.
What a totally BRILLIANT idea, always wanting to aspire.

  5. I’m going to go through the pics on my camera – all 700 of them – and dump, organise, store, Photoshop, etc.

Ugh. And then I might tackle the polished wooden floors in this place. I swear there are tumbleweeds rolling up the hallway. Thank you, Virgo moon, for making me notice them… grumble grumble…

  6. Am de-cluttered to the nth degree, preparing for some-thing it seems,
not sure yet what. Now amid all this streamlining, the Virgo Voodoo 7th day Minister,
who wanted to store a ‘couple’ of suitcases in my shed, that grew from 2 to 5,
now wants to store another 6! Total 11 suitcases of i don’t know what but it’s
freaking me as they had been in some-one else’s shed for the last 3 years.
A car tyre was unrepairably blown whilst reversing into a sharp gutter drain when
the 2nd lot collected, as reversed into sharp drain whilst suitcases were blocking my rear view. That’s an omen not to have them around me.
CowGirl said to ‘just say No’ Aquaman said to say there is silverfish in shed & too
    risky for anything stored.
Will i say yes IF new tyre is paid for 1st, charge her usual storage fee minus 50%
or tell her if stuff not used for 3 years it’s useless baggage?
This Virgo seems to be always needy or wanting something from me…..don’t mind
to lose her or distance her more.
Diplomacy was a fine skill i USED to have but no more. What to do?

      • So it’s ‘clutter’!
Meaning she would rather clutter my space than hers. No wonder ive
        been uncomfortable about it.
Astro was spot on about setting boundaries
& confrontation being ok with a clean sharp disengagement.
        Culling people-users as well.
        Validation accepted with thanx, Aqua.

  7. Ta for beautiful illo, Mystic, esp after reading this unsubtle Virgs diss thing earlier today -

‘Regulus is one of the four Royal Stars of ancient Persia and called the “Lion’s Heart,” which is perfect for its placement in the sign of Leo, but will be less perfect when Regulus moves into Virgo this year.’

  8. Had to cancel some work today on the grounds of impracticability. Guilt tripped myself about it then asked my Libran friend how she perceives that this happens a lot in my life, knowing that she could never utter the “f” word ( flake). She said I’m simply under- resourced.
    Googling Golden Mean now!!!!!

P.s. my obs is Virgo moon can bring out some fantastically funny wit. Anyone else noticed? Will post here any examples that pop up.

    • TwinFish…your friend sounds like she’s talking about a Company
      not a sensitive human.
Guilt interferes with Pleasure…therfore drop guilt.
That saying is firmly embedded in my psyche from the past dealings with
peeps having noticed there is too much about.

      Wit me!

      • Pegs , ” guilt interferes with pleasure, therefore drop guilt” you’re so right. Really guilt is an escapist route from a point of responsibility to a point of non responsibility. ( hello, christian crusaders!!!) Fun and pleasure however are genuine responses showing an ability to perform at best when content. I dropped the guilt years ago but sometimes when a responsability calls for a difficult decision I find my mental dial goes directly to guilt channel. It’s such a staller of action.

Just been spending my freed up afternoon researching biogeometry, sans guilt and pro-pro function. The redeeming feature of my work less lifestyle is I seem to have the golden ratio of ever expanding “downtime” for brainstorming and the quality of life gets sweeter.

        Ya, I’m witya. ;)

  9. This is why I feel so excited at the thought of stacking my newly installed pantry. So excited that I cancelled a movie outing – really want to see “Hereafter” – but it has to wait till my kitchen has been rearranged and the pantry is rockin’.

    • Freak girl….”Anal Ease” never had it so good…. ;)

Mentioned Pisces/Pisces rising, Aries Mars and Venus in 1st did a half marathon last weekend…

She hobblin’ in the Uggs these last few days due to a sprain, but she did it!!

Love ya Gemmy….Go girl… (stilll chasing behind for that hat you stole…blinded by Uber Gem Cape …. :) )

~I want to ride my bicycle~…(Queen)

        • Tks Herby, it’s short for Audaxers! Not that I’m fully fledged yet, won’t be hot, will be headwinds, may be showers! All adds to the audaciousness of it all!!

          • I once signed up for an Audax. Never made it to the start line though. Was when I was spending a lot of time cycling … Spent the summer 2007/08 riding 100km – 200km every Sunday just for kicks. Did a lot of hill climbing … favourite was to ride from Beenleigh up to Binna Burra in the Gold Coast Hinterland and then fly down to Nerang afterwards and then get the train part-way home before cycling some more.

Then I almost died cycling in November 2009 and now I feel ill just thinking about pumping up the bike tyres, let alone getting on the bike.

Good luck for tomorrow. Hope you smash it :)

  10. Bought a new pretty speccy Hoover vacc yesterday, love it so. Our space feels so much better already!
my Virgo Sun (contemplating the Virgo Moon)…..

  11. You know… I don’t often have something intelligent to add to MM blogs, but I SO love reading it. Thank you all.
    Virgo Sag Aries

    • Half the time what we share is not necessarily intelligent either….but fun all the same!!

Virgo Sag Aries…step right up. We got ticket to one of the wildest 7 wonders of the world…

Mytic’s place is like no others. Hell, I lose sleep (staying up far too late) over this place!!

And, it’s raining in Palm Springs tonight!!

      “Under my umbrella..umbrell a.. brell a….” x

      xx

    • I have rarely considered my comments intelligent :) Never stops me :) Love visiting here. Mystic’s posts are awesome and love the social chat she allows here … Am learning heaps … Am even starting to accurately ID people’s sun signs when they are obvious :)

  12. Lovely pic, thanks Mystic. Good on for doing the sacred geometry, it is wonderful the connection between all life, so intricate, stunningly beautiful in its simplicity.
I’ve been reading this great book, The Body Electric. It’s about electromagnetism and the foundations of life. Fascinating stuff about the energy web surrounding all life. Regeneration in salamanders, hidden energies and how they effect the subtle body. Very Virgo and well, frankly I need a distraction from the noise of the week. Hope all are well~ X

    • Rox, where the hell have you been?

No, I read your post and I get it but you been missed darlin’. Figured your new beau took you away from us :) …~The Borg~.. which is understandable of course.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++\
      ++++++++++++++
      xx++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

      ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Cripes….see, The Borg just took over….key board gone wild….

Enjoy your Virgoan quietude and reading luv. So understand. Currently I’m eating just the crispy coating of some poor fried chicken.

As Aries, does that mean I’m shallow? xxxxxxxx

  13. hahaha no one takin’ me away from YOU funny girl ! I gots a ….pssssst… sooper sekrit Virgo nano bite up my whatzit in case of emergencies !
    haha HUGS SWEETS !!
you seen this ? geek love fo’ sho’

  14. I’m having a coffee at 12:12, and lately the weird number thing is happening….? Anyone else getting that?
Seriously ! Little notes stashed all over the place of what days and what times I’ve been seeing 1:11, 2:22, 11:11 etc…apparently angels (der, wrote angles twice- zap zone anyone ?! order UP) are all around me, Lord knows, I’ve been callin’.
Trying to vibrate to the highest good, got any extra chicken sweets, need a midnight snack too, sounds yummy~ All this positive energy raisin takes a toll, ya know :o )
Watching kaleidoscope pix on my DVD player during a spin of Dark Horse.

  15. Yes, did glance at the digital clock today in my massage room and it was 11:11. Always get a “whatzit”, as you say, when I see that! Aries sun 11.11.30 degrees in house 11 and so we resonate with that (techinically 11:12 since the .30 but heck, I’ll take the angels!)

    I love sooper sekrits!!

  16. here’s some 11:11 stuff sacred geometry DNA the whole smackerel :
    http://www.crystalinks.com/11.11.html
Supposed to mean ‘wake up’ important info on the way !
    I will mention both times I got 5:55 ~>
something big was either a comin’ or a goin’ (shrug)
learning to surf the waves of life better these days, thank goodness

    • It happens to me all the time Saturnrox. It started years ago when I used to wake up suddenly at 3.33am. Then it was 4.44, then 5.55. Haven’t seen those numbers for a while now but still get 1.11 and 11.11 a lot. Love it!

      • First time I read about it was in a book called ‘the Messengers’, now I refer to Doreen’s page. All very interesting moments of WoW, if you ask me. Especially when it keeps happening over and over…!

    • There’s that whole ascended masters numerology thing too – the old-school books from the early 1900s when transcendentalism and spiritualism were big I think around the time of blavatsky/Theosophical Society are fascinating.

      • Nice link, Roxxie.
Remembered i was at a weekens workshop about this given
by a Polarity Practitioner from Us0fA. Remember it well as was givin
a Merkaba visualisation-meditation and SAW it as i’m so suggestable
with those kinda personages AND that it was the day Princess Diana
        died…..spooky.
(LOve that song by Atlanta Rythmn Section)

Roxxie & Sweetie are like the movie ‘Moulin Rouge’ where dialogue
        is songs :-)

        • Hi Pegs, glad you liked the (crystal) link, there is a vast labyrinth of info in there…very interesting about the merkaba visualization.
I can see how Merkaba fits in with the polarity therapies. I had the therapy once and it was very helpful regarding some health issues.
          Geometry & balance.
I went and had a listen to ARS after reading your post, I can identify with the lyric too. haha Cute about Sweets and me…I think our Neptuners have a crush on each other, one fork gets the other one goin’ :D
I was posting opened up another window and found another chock fulla groovy stuff link, so will post here. Thanks for all the comments that get me to thinking. Enjoy !

      • Thanks whatevs, I have a biggie link to Helena’s works, just haven’t made it all the way through yet. I will go hunting, in many cases the older books are so much more dense with esoteric material. I have to take little bites and chaw on the info a while longer before it all sinks in.
Thanks for the heads up !

  17. Dug up all the weeds in an area of the garden that I’ve been working on. Then created a new garden space. That definitely counts as my exercise because I wheeled out about 10 wheel barrows full of heavy clay filled with weeds and then wheeled in about 20 wheel barrows full of lovely fresh (weed and clay free) topsoil in which to plant everything.

So that’s got the tidying and exercise bug done. And instead of reaching for rubbish just a few minutes ago I fished a peach out of the fridge instead. And I decided that instead of a burger from McD’s I’m going to get one from a proper home made burger place. Sure, still a burger but at least it’s real food not plastic (I have to go out to babysit my nieces so no time to cook for myself).

As for health and cleanliness … I resisted some temptation today and am glad I did. Feel all clean and healthy because of it.

Can I just say – how beautiful has the moon been the past few nights? We can see it over the trees through our glass sitting room doors and it’s just been sensational!

    • The peach was tempted by a peach but didn’t?

Left a Micky D cheeseburger wrapper (just the small burger….kiddie size) by doc’s computer Thursday…Woops…he didn’t care…just that I’m usually more fastidious about my belongings (even if trash, actually, especially).

He popped his head in my room and said “hey, if you’re going to leave a cheeseburger wrapper, leave me a burger too, okay?”

      • That’s what i would say too …. leave me a burger too :)

Nah … not temptation to do anything really norty ;) Am never going down that path ever again … too painful and stressful and messy :D Not even going to be tempted again … If I ever meet someone I like I’m going to run a mile before I even ask his or her name!

        • Wow Herby ! Am jealous of all the dirt digging. Got to a balmy 50 some degrees here yesterday and spring is coming, just takin’ her sweet time.
I think you win the leafy Virgo crown with all that gardening !
          WooHoo

          • Brrrr … that works out to only 10′C (sorry, live in metric land). The only time it gets that cold here is early mornings and late evenings in mid-winter. It was 34′C and humid here yesterday (93′ in your language).

I’m loving the garden. Took my wife on a tour of the section I did yesterday and she loved it. She also had some really good ideas for a section of it that I was lost about.

I’m getting the winter vegie garden started today – peas and broccoli … yum.

            • oooh yum today I hauled up some tomato basil soup base from the basement, added veggies and herbs, voila ! delish !
Do you like soup, Herby…someone told me Virgos love soup. Is very true with me. I eat it in summer and get some odd looks~ nothing new there, tho. LOL

              • Oh yum!!!! That sounds soooo delicious! I love soup :) I missed out on my pumpkins this year – it was too wet for them to grow – so I missed out on making a year worth of pumpkin soup from the garden :(

But I have lots of pigeon pea trees that I hope will bear fruit in a few months. Then I can make loads of pea & ham soup. I eat that in either summer or winter :)

              • You Aussies got some strange stuff down there~ grubby grubs and pigeon peas. on trees no less ! haha I love the pumpkin soup, fabo cook friend of mine served it in a pumpkin my first time, I just went ape over it. Must try making it, love the squash mushroom combo too. You ever heard of forest floor tea ? A friend takes it for colds. Seriously looks like it sounds. Great your wife is getting in on the garden planning ! If you are doing winter gardening, you are def. serious gardener, I need to visit your blog and get some hot tips ! :)

              • Saturnrox – you have to remember that our winter is the best time of year to grow. Our average winter temperatures (daytime) are in the low-mid 20′Cs (that’s about the mid-70′Fs). We don’t get frost where I live in winter. It’s also our dry season so we don’t have to worry about our plants drowning.

Our summers are hot and humid so it’s actually the worst time for vegies. This year it rained so much I couldn’t grow pumpkin or zucchini, which are usually my staples.

I just LOVE having my hands in the dirt :)

    • oh and you were right Herby! Cheap-ass Toro was there last night and of course did not back down from challenge. But I kept things cooler than ice emotionally.

  18. I’m naturally in sync for once, Huzzah! Today will be a house cleaning and healthy food making day after last night’s Leo Moon biz-whacks.

  19. I am looking at my astro software for noon today. The stellium in my 7th is interesting. Sun and Chiron in exact conjunct at 0′ Pisces. A couple of degrees away, Neptune/Mars/Mercury conjunct, exact to within a 1′ orb. And that Nep/Merc/Mars/ is exactly square to my natal sun/moon conjunct.

So where was I at exactly noon today? Driving down the highway when a woman coming from the opposite direction turned left in front of me. Result? Collision, my beautiful car is totaled. It’s totally her fault, she admitted it, and oh is her insurance going to pay. And pay and pay.

Remind me never to drive anywhere when Mercury, the God of short trips, is in such a conjunction.

    • Goodness Charles….that’s awful!!…glad you’re okay.

Noticed all the nuts are out today and I have had a couple of close calls lately as well. It’s like people are so spaced and confused they can’t make a decison. I honked today….cripes, make a decision…Peeps meandering all over the road, stopping at odd times/moments..nearly a head on because I turn a corner and there is some guy in the middle of the road hogging my side too… I’m usually chill when I drive but today was nearly maddening…wake the flip up!!

Please take care of yourself and get checked out…put ice on any sore spots for now and take a lie down (if you don’t mind my massage therapist nose hornin’ in).

Totalled my car at 17 and in the morning (after muscles cooled down) Saggo bestie had to dress me….was stiff all over and thought wrist was broken.

      x

      • Yes, listen to the Pea about getting checked out! One of the most important things you can do is NOT take a hot bath or shower after the wreck because it adds inflammation (just in the off chance there is any). Take a cold shower if you can stand it. Lots of people don’t feel hurt until the next day or so after the endorphins wear off.

        Glad you’re ok!

        • Hey thanks to everyone for their concern. The worst of this is the air bags going off and you get a blast of acrid powder and you can’t breathe. My lungs are still irritated. And the pop must have been loud because I can’t hear anything out of my left ear, it’s just crackling static and ringing. Well that’s my bad ear anyway, but I’ve never been this deaf. If it doesn’t clear up in a day or so, I’ll have to see the doctor on monday. I feel like I was kind of beaten up, muscle aches and sore back but it’s nothing terrible, if it doesn’t go away I will have a doctor look into it.

I was most impressed by the performance of my Toyota Motor Corporation 1995 Camry XLE. It’s the best car I ever owned, some auto experts say it is the best car of its class ever made. It proved it was worth every penny. I can see how well the car was engineered for safety. It probably saved my life. The car is seriously damaged but looks repairable. I think the insurance company will declare it totaled because the blue book is only about $3500 and they’re not going to spend $3500 to fix it. But this car has so few miles (only 50,000) and it’s in great shape (well, until now) and would cost a lot more than $3500 to replace. We shall see what happens, I’m already talking to her insurance people.

    • Oh dear, I do hope that the fact the lovely Virgo moon is transiting my 3rd house will counteract the effect as I am making a trip shortly! Sorry Charles about your lovely car, RIP in vehicle heaven. Accidents like that shock the system very deeply, try to be easy on yourself today..

      • Well I don’t mean to put a fear into anyone and make them hesitant to drive. There are surely other factors that drove this accident (oops no pun intended). And maybe the other woman who caused the accident was under worse aspects than me, you never know. But I do often have Mars-related bad automotive difficulties. I remember I had problems with a Mars-Uranus transit. This sort of thing might not hit you at all. This is a particularly interesting time astrologically though.

        • Sorry to hear that Charles, as some-one very attached to
my ‘wings’ and loving certain types of automobiles, i feel
your distess at maybe losing a good-one. At least it’s not as
bad as losing a beloved pet.
Good Luck with recovery & recoop of your or another vehicle.

    • Good point about the “God of short trips” Charles as Virgo Moon currently square my Gem mars/rising which traditionally rules the 3rd “short trips  (Gemini).

Glad I got everything done so I need not leave the house for next two days…

Also, Chiron and Neptune in Pisces… fuzzy/foggy peeps must be those in shock and not acclimated yet? Who knows…

Meanwhile, speaking of weather/gorge skies LL and Herbs, rain storm yesterday brought snow and so Mt. San Jacinto just gorgeous!!

Anyway, white light and a prayer for you Dromie!!

  20. I scrubbed the baseboards in my kitchen….. then the side of the bench facing the stove, now I’m dead in the water in knickers and a singlet top cos its freaking 33 degrees, and putridly humid….. I have to mop the kitchen cos I dripped sweat all over the floor in my cleaning frenzy….. even laying still I have sweat rolling down my legs. ugh. I’ve been invited out for a drink later – but can’t hack the thought of walking up the everest of my street. Think I’ll stay put, and do a second round with the scrubber in a while.
