The Ultimate Saggo

German Paraglider survivor

This could be the ULTIMATE SAGGO

“A German paraglider is being hailed as “the luckiest woman in the world” after surviving a storm cell that sucked her higher than Mount Everest during a flight in northern New South Wales.

Ewa Wisnierska, 35, spent 40 minutes unconscious while being carried to a height of approximately 30,000 feet, where she was pounded by hail, narrowly avoided lightning and was covered in ice…More here

It’s an extraordinary tale

And this interview with her here helpfully has some birth details: Her Sun is in Sagg along with Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune in Saggo…

Some Sagg-style quotes:

“Flying (paragliding) and teaching of it is the only one source of my income. I have neither a flat nor any apartment. I live in my car and don’t need to pay any rentals every month. This way of life is not very expensive. And I don’t need any luxury. I prefer having time to money.”

” I have fun living like a bird. I don’t worry about the future. Maybe it will change one day. Maybe I will wish to have a family and my own home. But I didn’t find the right place to stay yet. And currently I enjoy my life and flying. “

” I prefer the world without frontiers.”

  1. I know this is completely off-top, but how about some posts inviting readers to share tips about parenting kids of each Sign ? I have a girl Ram am currently awaiting a tiny Gemini, and I’d love some advice… these two live-wire signs will be a bit of a challenge for an earthy Virgo-Taurus couple !

  2. It’s a good idea but i HATE way off-topic posts. Peeps ought to e-mail them to me. Or wait for an administrivia post. I think it’s my Mercury in Aries ruled by Mars in Virgo. Mars rules Aries. Mercury rules Virgo. It’s called Mutual Reception.

    • I’ve got similar mutual reception; Mercury in Aries, Mars in Gemini.

Of course my Gem would rant on about all and sundry if possible… ;)

  3. To me, it’s like in a real life conversation, you try to pick up on the end of what someone was crapping on about and then – even if it is a tenuous bridge – you build a link to the new topic.

  4. Ultimate Sagg? Yes I agree…..except the luxury bit. My ex of 18 years loved luxury.

  5. Ewa has to be Sagg. I doubt she has a Cap bone in her body. Her story reminds me of Chesley, the super pilot, who landed a passenger jet in the Hudson River early this year. Kim Falconer found he Icarus conjunct his natal sun or something. Maybe Ewa was having an Icarus transit among other things.

  6. Wow. She is definitely the ultimate saggo – her lifestyle, her look, all her quotes AND being “the luckiest woman in the world” to actually survive all that! Incredible story.

I love what she says about preferring time over money too. I can totally relate with my Moon in Sagg. I sometimes knock back work if i don’t feel like it because my time/freedom is more valuable than money. But having the luxury to knock back work is the result of YEARS and YEARS of working my arse off. Jupiter currently in my 2nd house might have something to do with it too. ie. – the luck with money

  7. That reminds of that danny deckchair movie – don’t know if anyone saw that but he floated around the sky for a while with ballons tied to his deckchair – he seemed like a sagg the character in that film too – a free spirit, laid back type. I love sagg and sagg moon people. Always up for an adventure and some fun!

  8. YES A FELLOW LUCKY SAGGO!
thanks Mystic! I LOVE SAGGO’S! who doesnt love our nack for avoiding trouble lol! — i just came back from Cirque De Solie – DRALION – OMG I WANT TO RUN AWAY WITH THE CIRCUS – it seems like a VERY saggo thing to do! you know what WHY NOT I WILL! MY PICSES RISING DREW ME TOWARDS THE WHOLE FABRIC SWINGING FROM CEILING THING! I LOVE IT — THE WHOLE THING WAS BASED ON THE 4 ELEMENTS! I LOVE BEING A SAGGO! MOON SUN AND MERC IN SAGGO SOO TAKE THAT! LOL
    LOVE U ALL GOOD NIGHT
    MATT
    X
    HEHEHE
    IM CRAZY :P

    • There is a saying, Matty if you’re reading & it’s
‘the tightrope walker than applauds the audience for
      being brave’.
      Apt huh?

      • A saying about Saggo’s that is.
The other is ‘they tell fortunes to the Gypsies’ :-)

  9. she is a dead ringer for my really great sag friend who has just come back from diving with hammerhead sharks off the galapagos. i actually thought for a split second that mystic had sort of stumbled across my friend and was writing about her. these girls are such good value and inspiring.

  10. Now I know who I want to be when I grow up, except that neither of us wants to grow up!

Yes I’m a Sagittarius with Sagittarius Moon, and I also want to learn to speak all languages!

    • I’m with you Molly!
i’ve got moon, sun and merc in saggo and the thought and ideal of traveling around the world is the only thing that keeps me going on hard days.
I really dont think that Sagittarians DO grow up.. to tell you the truth – me and my uncle (and my passed-great grandmother) have major SAGGO influences and all of us are very young at heart = so much soo that we see the world as a beautiful peaceful place – and we are sometimes shellshocked when Bad things happen.
The language thing has grasped me too Molly, i already know English, Italian and i’m studing Japanese and Latin.
      Matt
      Saggo astrologer in training

      • ~i already know English~

I’d figured that was a given Matty? Maybe not?

Both my girls Saggo Moons. One speaks French and the youngest is going to take German. I think…

I know all the cuss words in Farsi. I can tell someone they are a “father Dog”…or “crazy stupid”…or “elephant fart”…plenty more too!

Jupiter in Sagg trine Aries Merc. Does that count? :)

    • I’m a multiple pisces, with Leo rising, Molly, and I speak heaps of languages.
I don’t think being brave and taking physical risks is limited to saggs.

  11. What an extraordinary woman!

Ewa lives her life as an extreme sport & she has somehow manage to normalized it, fascinating! True passion for her life & huge risk taking behaviour in equal balance….. sounds like a sagg to me! :)

  12. Well, ive been kinda close to Mt. Everest in Kashmir, had a gun pulled on me a couple
of occaisions, was stranded in Oceania in the Islands for 2 years.
Did time in Belgium……….’it’s Tuesday, i must be in Brussells’ & was the only Australian there.
My Mother tried to get Foreign Affairs to do a swap, but no Belgians
in prison here at the time.
My boobs weren’t big enough to get publicity, thank heavens!
And many more dangerous things that scare me to remember & would never admit to
    in this lifetime.

‘It took courage to do some of the things i wished i hadn’t done’
A quote from another Saggo Ashliegh Brilliant.

Myst, you have totally Saggo’ed me out in this thread……..sheesh.
    LUCKY? I invented it!

    • Sheeeeshh these are postings from last year!!
Have Sun, Mercury & Jupes in Saggo…lol.
OOOPss…..like Andromeda says: I keep my stories
private, only here under my nom de plume do i disclose
      the fun i have had.

      • Oh wow, you’re right. And I was just thinking of Chessie today.

You are a super Sagg Pegs…xo

    • Sounds like a segment for “Locked Up Abroad.” Sounds scary. Glad you are ok.

      • OR, “Locked Up A Broad”? lol…

Although I’m sure no laughing matter to you Pegs.

  13. Life is a great teacher, but oh boy, Her bill!
Thankfully the last 15 years brought out my Capricornian influences.
    And Pluto’s transformation.
Astrology certainly helps to understand ourselves. We grow into & out of it, don’t we.
……………….and can have a laugh about it or at least some big grins, huh?

    • yess, patience and perseverance and sometimes through gritted teeth…but always through rose coloured glasses

      • Intense pegasus, would love to sit and listen to your stories with a hot cup of tea in person! Brussels of all places…

  14. My poor Saggo mum, housebound with 3 kids and a barstard husband…she expressed her nature by highland dancing and having a weekly swim / massage no matter what was going on. She taught me how important it was to remember the self even when juggling the multiple roles of women. Love Saggo’s. Saw the Ewa doco last night. What an amazing woman. So brave ! And so self effacing. I’d be at least a little arrogant given how skilled she handled the whole thing.

  15. Lucky lucky amazing Jupy Saggy woman. what a brilliant and yes, perfectly saggo story. Her aura of awesome optimism and total faith in luck probably fended off that lightning and gave her an oxygen bubble up high…
    again, I LOVE SAGGOS!!!

  16. My son is a Sagg, he is a hoot and such a nice kid! Barrel of laughs and loves practical jokes!!!

  17. Are Saggs the most likely to wear sporty sunglasses with hot pink bikinis? She looks sweet carrying the umbrella, like she’s worried about burning, but then the image is thrown by the ready-for-adrenaline sunglasses.

    • And how apt is the reflection in said sporty sunglasses – rolling hills and lots of sky …

  18. There is one Sagg at the moment that i would like to ‘rip
his bloody arms off & shove them down the toilet’.
Must be the Lo-Sagg coz usually they are an easy going bunch.
It’s our Venus’ to blame i say.
Perhaps he needs a near-death experience with me going
off character, doin’ a Kali & squashing his balls to grapes but
dammit, Quan Yin rules, her compassion & mercy wins
    & i zip.
Silence as a deafening tool :-)

  19. That recreation of her experience on tv last night was soo heart-stopping, I was watching with my jaw on the carpet!! Lucky thing she passed out, if she could have seen what was happening she might have had a heart attack.

It’s brilliant to learn she is a Saggi Explorer, they can be so hardcore and cheerful no matter what, love it.
