The Venus-Saturn Skulk

Miles Aldridge

With Venus square Saturn, you can’t always get what you want. And it’s not the time to go all sooky-goo-goo to get it either. Venus-Saturn is grown up, copping reality with some semblance of pluck. Then again, the Cancerian Moon still favours a good old Power Sulk.

The good thing: If something DOES pop up today, even a casual little dalliance or aside, it has got some serious form. Venus-Saturn means it would have potential to be significant and enduring. Just don’t go there with the frivolous irony.  It’s fleeting. Once Venus gets past Saturn, she squares Uranus, trines Chiron and opposes Pluto.

Plenty of room to move. Or run away.

  1. Aawww, shit, I didn’t win the Miss Twilight award , again, what’s a girl gotta do to get some recognition ?

  2. Serious form that’s fleeting?

I can’t help but notice that every time the astro is supposed to be fantastic for love, there’s actually a countervailing astro that basically cancels it out, meaning that there’s like, 3 days a year (a life time? ever?) when the universe aligns for full tilt boogie love action.

Maybe I just need a moment to gather my pluck and get on with it.

    • Its always amazed me how female dogs are only hot/horny/fertile for about 4 to 6 weeks a year, male dogs are literally digging holes under fences to get at them…and boy do they want it. Then boom, nadda, no interest, no way for the next 10 months. Maybe its a bit like that ? Woof.

  3. Hmmm – not getting what I want and trying desperately not to sulk. There is a risk of running away but that is just a bad habit that ends up hurting other people. And this too will pass (will it?)

  4. Oh – am listening to Kate B’s, ‘Running up that hill’ to boot!

    • I played that on repeat when my ex left the country I was in at the time. reminds me of emotional pain. love kate bush x
