Scorpio Men On Prozac

Scorpio Men On Prozac is a new indie film following the lives of several different Scorpio men & boys. They’re not all on Prozac but, judging from the scenes released thus-far, they should be. They were too intense for me to post  up here. Lol, tres Scorp. It’s based on a book of the same title by Rand Marsh who, I am assuming is a Scorpio.

I love the concept. Imagine if it became a whole series: Saggo Men Stoned On Cannabis, Aries Men On Cocaine, Taurus Men On Verdelho etc.

Thoughts? And will you be seeing this movie? Check out the video results to see what I mean about intensity. I mean, really, I didn’t know Scorp guys were THAT bad, Prozac or not.

  1. WHERE is the Indie Film called Lo Scorp on Viagra/Cialis/Horny Goat Weed???

    Seriously??

Look, I would LOVE to meet a Hi Scorp, or versions thereof. And honestly, I think Scorps have an aversion to legitimate “drug therapy” I mean, if there are drugs they will have to be DARK DARK concoctions, names of which are only whispered or even, hand signaled. Prozac would seem to go against the grain of “self-possession” and almost well, too pedestrian in Pluto??

Just some musings. Ex-Hades of course.

    • I know a haute Scorp male – he is an academic in South America, doesn’t drink, or do drugs (but smokes and mainlines coffee), is liberal, Gay, amusing, insightful, honest and caring. He’s the most self-honest man I’ve ever met, with a love and curiosity of humanity, and the drive to teach and share.
I adore him, and count him as THE proto haute male Scorp, one who has eyed the dark side, and who accepts it, and uses it as a tool to grow.
Fear not FA – they do exist.

      • Ah, you are a ray of hope amidst the murky mire of Lo Pluto. And how funny is that because the only Hi-Scorp Male I know is also gay and very balanced while being being authentically human. Yes just like yours, certainly used his darker moments, erstwhile failures to do better.

Sigh.. would love to meet one but I have been running into all sorts of Cappos lately, men and women. Hmm.

        • Yeah my little brother is a happily married hi scorp too. Good dad, husband, brother…lol. He dotes on his Gemini wife and kids. He did some therapy in his early 20′s for anger issues but used no prozac…he’s pretty loyal to beer though.

      • My brother is a high Scorp — happily married to a Leo, THE most devoted father alive, loyal, faithful, funny. Adores his wife and kids. He channels his dark side through martial arts training and the odd street scrap. He watches cage fights for fun. An ex-sprinter, he once chased down a purse snatcher over 5 kms and he used to be a bouncer at a gay pub. Gay bashers and bullies beware.

I doubt he’s even heard of Prozac.

        • heeh! My ex who is a Scorp is also very much into his martial arts and is now a cage-fighter pro. He was incredibly vain which used to get on my nerves, and he loved attention and was a bit of a compulsive liar. Deep down he was a nice guy though. Just very mixed up and loved having his ego petted!

I am a rather possessive Taurus and it depressed me a bit!

    • You are wrong! We [Scorps] do not have an aversion to highly intoxicant drugs, in fact we hate them. But… that doesn’t stop us from taking them. Why? As every drug is supposedly beneficial to our giving state at a particular time! We search for some sort of peace/release. That’s we end up taking Pharmas.

In short, we experiment… and usually suffer. TBH we just want to be Dictators, CEOs, fuck all day, and listen to the coolest sounds. Unfortunately, we are always second in the race for anything.

  2. Taurus Men On Verdehlo… Bahaha! God you make me laugh Mystic! Taurus Men On Verdehlo… On The Couch/Verandah. Yes, Scorps on Prozac sounds tres intense but not in a good way. Maybe they need chamomile or something lighter? And do Aries really need any more Marching Powder?

  3. Taurus Men On Verdehlo – yes, lols!

Agreed, most I know Scorps would never take Prozac. They don’t want to lose their ‘psychic powers’ aka rampant paranoia.

I reckon it’s the Libran Men on Ecstacy you really have to watch out for!

    • Oh that is truly disgusting TLE. I can picture one now (but I’d rather not). “Why don’t we kiss just to see what it feels like?”

    • Nate, a Capricorn on an Official Budget would scare me as are they not already born that way???

The fact that there may be actual effort invested beyond their natural propensity for frugality is well… frightening.

      • Does the fact that we have back-up budgets, savings plan budgets and holiday-in-three-years-time-budgets count?

(btw, I mean the actual holiday budget, not the saving for the holiday plan)

And yes, I have done and have some of these going atm

        • Back up Budgets??? Oh Nate. Talk dirty to me some more.

I’m cool with Fiscal Foreplay, just as long as when it comes time to spend it there’s a little leeway for the unexpected.

Though having said that, my budgeting is sidelined by my Venus in Leo more than any of my other astro aspects.

      • Ohmilord, NO… but didn’t we actually have some Caps cop to that in that one post Mystic put up?? Something about they’ll spend what’s yours if it keeps them from spending theirs?

I hope that isn’t always true..but if I’m to go by my Cappo sister it would be. She has plans for MY money for crying out loud.

      • heh heh weathergirl, you hit the nail on the head. Fallen Angel I tell you what the Cap lover I had was dynamite in bed, I just could not get enough of the man. It took awhile for me to realise that our relationship was based on sex and me funding him, even though he is a multimillionaire! I worked 3 days a week and yet he happily sponged off me, even lived with me so he could rent out his up market apartment for visiting dignitaries for 10 months! Nary a lettuce leaf did he pay for!!!!

Once I* bid him farewell however, his purse came out and he courted me madly, asking me out to dinner, buying me gists etc!

  4. Maybe an urban myth, but i heard-read-was told, that there is so much Prozac (Fluroxotine)
being peed out in the USofA, that it’s permeated the public on tap drinking water :-)

Do you remember the episode in The Soprano’s where Tony Soprano’s Psych. gave him
Prozac & he saw ducks in his swimming pool & turned gooey.

  5. Who would be On The Gab? Gemini Men?

I contribute the following video clips to open for the feature films:

    Leo Men High On Themselves

    Capricorn Men On The Make

Saggo Men Out On The Rantan

Virgo Men On Triple Purified Water & Vitamin Supplements

  6. Hmm, as a Scorpio I agree that prozac would not be the ideal drug of choice. I went through a bit of depression when I was in my early college years and tried prozac for a few months. But it only made me tired and I discovered that it really dulled my creativity, which made me feel that I wasn’t in control of my own flow of energy. Other Scorps can probably attest to this, but the feeling of not being in control is a terrible thing to experience. Even when I had my wisdom teeth out, I remember being aware that the anesthesia was beginning to make me sleepy and part of me instinctively wanted to fight that. I think most Scorps revel in their moodiness, as if sulking is almost a birthright or badge of honor. With the whole understanding of death and rebirth and the cycle of life, they know that sadness and depression is a part of human nature. So it makes sense that they wouldn’t want to dull that sensation, at least not permanently. If they’re in a really dark place I think most Scorps would drink, or if they wanted to plunge into escapism then they would do the extreme and go for heroin, rather than just prozac.

    • My Scorpio sister in law didn’t like being on Prozac either. It made her tired and sluggish. She found relief in Primrose oil I believe.

Watched all three videos. The gun shot wound a bit cheesy, hum? But if they are Scorpios on Prozac I’m afraid of what they would be without it…lol

    • Hehe, i revel in my moodiness for sure. Totally agree with everything you’ve said about control! You’ve nailed Scorps… well, me anyway. :)

These days if i’m down in the dumps, it’s just a nice cup of tea, music and chocolate and i let it run it’s course.

    • Yes Lauren, my Ex Scorp was in such a dark place that even at 49 he is still on heroin. Too late did I discover that he first started heroin at age 17! What chance did I have!!?!!? Duh! Talk about a trusting Pollyanna Sagg to the max! :)

    • Prozac is EVIL! When all the articles about the drug started popping up in the early 90′s, I was curious to try it. So i went to the doctor and exaggerated my depression in order to get the drug.
I was on it for 3 months and started acting like a Stepford Wife – no emotions. Nothing bothered me, nobody got to me. It was great for numbing the pain but in the end it freaked me out as i could feel something taking over my brain – like a parasite!!

I stopped dreaming and it was virtually impossible to achieve an orgasm – it numbed my sex drive too! Decided I would rather be miserable and experience the highs and lows than walk around like a zombie.

      • Yes a friend of mine was the same – said helped her depression but also dulled and blunted those natural happy loving etc highs…she went off it also…

      • Exactly, not to mention that Scorpio has a penchant for addictive behavior. I don’t think many people get addicted to something like Prozac, it’s just not strong enough. The high isn’t potent and immediate enough. Better to go with the hardcore painkillers. I can see Scorpio being more at home in an opium den than a therapist’s office.

        • No Scorp in my chart ‘cept a node, but love opium dens,
maybe coz they are situated ‘elsewhere’ (my favourite place to be)
          on the planet.
Unfortunatley there is nothing Aubrey Beardsley or Baudelaire about them, just
an old wooden shack with long bearded ancient ChinaMan, who asks
you to lie on your side (hence ‘hippy’) with a wooden neck block whilst
          he prepares the black goo.
Then 90% walk out then throw up :-) ha ha ha can’t ride it!

  7. LOL! I’ve dated scorps just like scene one and two…not three though, thank goodness!
I need to see this movie.

Agreed Mystic, would love to see a whole twelve part series :D

  8. As my ex-Scorpio boyfriend said, “when I have a problem, I’d rather go to a liquor store than a therapist…” One of the MANY reasons he has been dumped… But aside from his intimate relationship with “the bottle” he would also smoke, take Vicodin, sleeping pills, Cocaine… Those were his drugs of choice -depending on his moods,- and he could self-administer… Hard for Scorps to relinquish the need to control… But Prozac DOES seem off for Scorpios… So tame and TOTALLY lacking in drama potential…

P.S. -Describing my ex’s predilections and then READING what I wrote I had to do a double-take… WHO was THAT?…Seems like I had taken a sabbatical from reality while I was with him…

  9. Is this movie supposed to be a piss-take? None of the Scorpio guys I’ve ever known were like this. I think it’s got to be a satirical take on the way they are percieved by society. All the Scorpio guys I’ve ever known have been well mannered and soft spoken, not the raging druggie psychos they are so often portrayed as.

  10. These comments all looked staged, directors friends?Either way the subject matter of the flick is not enough to carry a movie, indie or not.Worn out cliches, dopey little indie music, wanta be actors, gay script, dont waste your time.

  11. WOW! From what I’ve seen this site is pretty anti-Scorpio!
Cos being born in November makes you a sex-crazed, sleazy, drug-addict…..for some reason…..?
Go bitch to your friends if some Scorpio guy dumped you. Also, stop looking at the stars and get a life.

    • ………i love scorpios, as do tons and tons of people here. To be fair, MM isn’t THAT nice to any one zodiac in general. Check out all the hypochondriac shittalk about virgos (not even going to start on aquarians =D ) IT’s not because this is a mean site or because anyone here is mean, it’s because….it’s entertainment. MM’s actually serious zodiac profiles have all the good and the bad, here it’s just us playing around and laughing at the different ways each sign gets represented.
