Right now, Mars and Saturn are Retrograde. And linked in such a way that they could work awesomely together in tandem.
Given that these are powerful, action-planets & that Saturn lends wisdom to the oomph of Mars + their being retrograde is about a revision, it makes sense to look at where they are in your chart.
Mars is at 6 Leo and Saturn at 4 Libra. ie; the very early degrees of these signs. Find which house (chart sector) these are in your chart and think about what to do with that area of life can be ruthlessly revamped and with great glee. Because that’s the kind of energy it is and it’s totally worth tapping into.
Think: Extra willpower, elegant control and chic assertion in the areas of your scope/chart/life where you have early Leo and early Libra. Also that the arena for this steely evolution is one that has been activated since early last November. And that you’re kind of stuck at this point, going back and forth until you totally get something. Like, REALLY get it. Grokking the issue du jour.
Think this through enough and you will get an ‘aha’ moment.

1st house and 10th house. Is this a sign I should put WORK (MY work) before EVERYTHING else? Somehow I think it is.

mars retro in 4th, saturn retro in the 6th for me. and ive pretty easily (im still shocked at how easily) gone vegan and macrobiotic, something ive never even really thought that much about but suddenly a little while ago i started reading up on it and Boom. done. same with yoga. started it and suddenly was there 5 mornings a week. loving the ritual, regularity, rhythm of my mornings. as fpr mars, ive completely reassessed where and how i want to live, with a house move in the works for March (coincidentally, when mars goes direct
) So ive really appreciated these transits. i feel like im sorting out my foundations so that i can then take my attention to my big visionary lofty goals.-
I’m 4 and 6 too Saggigal! But My fourth house revamp is much more roots and origins, and dealing with father stuff (in a very good way), and my sixth house stuff has been about really identifying who I want to be when I grow up, and continueing to nail the exercise thing….. health and fitness was it for the bulk of my saturn return, and as we retro back there the work and routine aspect is much stronger….

Am 4th and 6th too Saggigal and postmodscorp!
Sun in 4th (Leo at 5 deg) Pluto in 6th (Lib at 4 deg).Ditto on the dealing with the dad postmodscorp, I have done so much work on family in the last months, and it is finally taking effect!
Even my Sagg Ex wrote to me and said he regretted everything he’d done wrong and I had shared 4th house Sun with him.
As for 6th, have gone sugar-free and dairy free as baby seems to react badly to me doing what I merry well want. Gotta get this body back together as it serves a family not just me. And never has routine been so important as in the last weeks with so much change around the home due to new addition.
A 6-4 whopper combo f’shizzle.

Yup, 4 and 6 for me too! Haha, have spent the last few days ’serving’ my flatmates by cleaning, rearranging and bringing them food from work.
6th house – have just gone cold turkey on the high sugar diet I used to have. Was tough, but am out the end of the first week and feeling much better.
Have also been reassessing my feeling re: conventional and complementary medicines – e.g. should I take roaccutane or not, as its making me feel terrible.ahh, love these DIY astro times.

i think it’s time that i really take stock of how much (or how little) i value myself…”i am worthy” comes up a lot as an affirmation for this fish… putting myself out there, and knowing that i am worth having as a friend, a colleague, a contact, and having the confidence to express that or just, like, Live It.

I’ve been panicking over long term goals since November, middle age crisis at Uranus return etc. Tried to change careers but didn’t get into course.
Now I’m reminded of Saturn going back over opposition with natal again and conjunct MC/IC, so it’s been jumping up and down on these since November.
Long term goals stymied (what a perfect word) by Mars retro now squaring natal Saturn.
Maybe I’m just supposed to be an accountant for life. Sigh, what a sentence.-

Nothing going on for me there astro wise but the phrase

Mars in 5th & Saturn in 7th
Last November was Saturn return & this is all tied up with that. I have been trying to sort through some stuff & I just know when I really get it sorted out I will know exactly where I want to be… & will have some pretty useful skills to show for it. Until then back to work…..

Mars 6 Leo in 9th house, conjuncting natal Venus at 0 degree. Am waiting & biding my time to do any reaching related to work, both for vet nursing CV drop-offs & applying for a Div. 2 fully-funded course.
Saturn 4 Libra in 11th house, near natal Pluto at 12 degrees. It’ll be wowee when Saturn hits on my Pluto-North Node conjunction alright… -
Mars in 5th (natal Gemini!) & Saturn in 8th — November brought some interesting relationships that never festered into anything more than one-night stands/faux friendships. Since then I haven’t had any romantic pursuits — since Gemini is in 5th house, I presume it’s time to get back out there? I’ve been having a positive outlook on love, but I feel like it’s going to come to me this time rather than me scouting it out.
As for Saturn in 8th, I feel like my sense acuity with people and spiritual phenomenon has reached the same interest and peak as it did in November — I have become more in tune and accepting of picking up on energy and information from people and things. Unfortunately, I cannot tell anything about myself and where I am headed. : / Hopefully this will bring out a different change?

Mystic, I would love it if you could provide a crib to what your take on the houses is. Every time i see a post of yours about the houses, I then google to see which house is about what, but the answers sometimes confuse me and I find it hard to apply the information to myself.

Hang on, Seabird. You need to look at transiting Mars and Saturn, which are currently sextiling each other. The Mars retro has probably formed a conjunction with your natal Mars in Leo in the 3rd, while Saturn is currently in Libra, so probably transiting your 5th house. Therefore, as Mystic advises, the 3rd and 5th houses are the ones that would benefit from revamping and revisioning during this transit. 3rd house is ruled by Gemini and is about communications. 5th house is ruled by Leo and is about self expression, creativity, art and children.

Actually i was thinking about this yesterday re natal houses, which would be 3rd/5th. Since Oct, and until June, I have/will be on a paper writing frenzy. And it’s all about coralling my creative meanderings into something structured that can be distributed to the masses (or academics anyway).
Getting a handle on the 1st/2nd thing so i can be super successful at the 3rd/5th thing is really what it’s about.

Are we supposed to look at our Natal Chart to see what houses the early degrees of Leo & Libra fall into? (i.e. not the placements of Mars & Saturn in our Natal Chart)?

Thanks Barista. I’m not that confident interpreting the transit chart from Astrodienst… but I think retro Mars (in Leo) is transiting my 10th House and Saturn (in Libra) is transiting my 12th House…
Soooo, 10th House would represent vocational concerns, place in the world, executive & organisational abilities, authorities (including Father), status, reputation, amassing wealth (he he, bring it!)
12th House highlights spiritual life, isolation, other realities, merging with higher energies, dreams, visions, retreats from the world, healing…
Yes, I can see some “chic assertion” developments in some these areas but I will need to think about it some more to link the two. Need a cuppa. Good night all x

strategise for the new you? stronger and more powerful? image and how you come across to the world. more power avail to you esp after mars is back in action ~mid march. I am picturing you hunkering down working out how and where you want to be / appear powerful, dynamic, active, etc. Then once it goes direct, barging through your saloon-style doors with a blam! and a fresh attitude.
