So there is v.serious article in Time Mag about whether or not it’s empowering to keep dying your hair & an article in the Times about how even young girls are adopting a “gunmetal grey” mane to be cool. I was born blonde and I intend to stay blonde so this is not remotely an issue for me.
But it’s an interesting Pluto in Cap style trend & this is going to make me sound mega-bimbonic, I realise, but i don’t think i actually know any woman who don’t dye their hair. At no matter what age – the only question really is whether they’re adept at d.i.y. or hooked on a colourist habit. My son’s female friends cannot even get together sans colouring their hair – applying gunk onto one another’s roots is how they bond. Are any of you intending to let gray hairs show or do you?
And what sign are you? No, wait, what sign is your Venus…I am wondering if there is a Venus sign that would say ‘fuq it’ and charge around with their silvery mane. I am thinking Saggo…
Also, I suppose Pluto in Capricorn is going to totally revolutionise the way we treat elders in our society. That or the Pluto in Leo baby boomers will demand it. There are already some extraordinary examples of peeps being amazing – fit, functional, vital, ultra-healthy, gorgeous – at any age peeps used to be written off. Life starts at the Uranus Return Lol.

Oh, I am a virgo and I stopped dying my hair with endless nasty chemicals a long time ago and its pretty and healthy if not a bit ordinary sometimes. (Its dark brown)

I haven’t dyed my hair in years (Libra Sun; Scorp Ascend; Virgo Venus). Not for lack of vanity, but because it suddenly occurred to me (after I found white hairs) that I might not have that many years left to actually enjoy my natural color (medium dark brown w/auburn shine).
Now I’m sort of curious to see the pattern of whitening (tho happy it’s emerging very slowly) – transformation is interesting! (Scorp ascend takes a bow). Would have loved to have a skunk streak, but no luck so far.-
hehe, i actually dyed a skunk streak in my hair when i was 20.
I wanted to look like Lily from The Monsters. It looked ridiculous though cos i did it myself and the streak was more yellow than silvery white.-
scorp robot, I tried to dye my hair punk white-blond once & ended up with yellow Heidi hair. Oh dear. Then I tried to henna it black (can you guess where this is going?) Do Not Ever apply black henna to bleached hair unless you really want drowned-moss green hair. (I’m fond of greens generally, but that was one repulsive hair color.)-
HAHAHA, i’ve had a few disasters myself but not moss green. I leave it up to the experts now.

I have not dyed my hair for over 20 years, very happy with all the white flecks that are appearing, glad to have the chance to get old! Age 48, Sun in Libra, Moon in Scorpio, Venus in Virgo
