The Batty Couple Awards

HoaxGroup_Surrealism_GervasioGallardoGervasio Gallardo

I think Aquarius with Aquarius has GOT to be the winner of the Batty Couples Award.

And, btw, I don’t mean bats as in hysterics & control dramas. I mean just bats. It’s because Aquarius has such a high concept of friendship & giving the other person space to individuate that they go over the top with this. They’re loyal, yes and yet stunningly in their own fashion. Too much emotion cloys their psyche, making it impossible for them to think & the Aqua definition of “too much” is hyper-sensitive.

I knew an Aqua-Aqua couple who fell in love on the spot having met at an art gallery opening (augmented reality video art, naturally) and felt they were so compatible that they moved in together the next weekend. But they did not have sex for six months as each thought the other was gay.

Aqua-Aqua specialise in non-conventional attachments, obviously & there is plenty of room for one person to be – say – a practicing Scientologist whilst the other is a stripper who is trying to start a raw food cult. They can also – both being Fixed Signs, obviously – become amazingly stuck in their ways.

I knew another Aqua-Aqua couple who broke up acrimoniously because they were both immersed in that sort of retro-50s lifestyle and very stylish at it but HE got sick of it, went and shaved his Rockabilly sideburns, started listening to ambient music & learning transcendental meditation. She saw it as a betrayal of their mutual lifestyle values AND she freaked out as she though he only off at Kundalini Yoga to perv at chicks with yoga-bums where-as she had gotten v.comfie with 50s fashion, a bit of shape-wear here & the shitloads of make-up look.

    Oh, my Darlin’ Myst,
Have i been in a fuck off mood or what!
Have had unlimited gigabytes unused for months, the minute
i reduced it, i’m at 100% of usage, that is sooo boring after just installing
the gorgeous new snow leopard & i work software.

It’s looking like Telstra is going to pay me & credit me after i send them
a report on all the glitzches. Could be saving half with another telco co. dammit.
This is making lemonade from lemons?
Decided to retire last Monday & Lo peeps start to make appointments,
after i said to the universe ‘i’m doubling my fees’ as i’m so over men & their laziness
along with inability to READ what a good relationships looks like.
Reverse psychology: make yourself unavailable, do disinterest, put your heels on
& charge double for the New Year ;-)

You have just performed a most advanced sales ploy without knowing it. Always quote high, you can come down if you want to, limit availabilty then threaten total unavailabilty. You’ll have them eating out of your hand, if your in to that sort of thing :)

High priced quotes are an indication of a person with a pedestal complex.

Saw an article about Auckland catholics wanting a billboard ad promoting longer lasting sex, with a pix of dejected looking Mary saying ‘Poor Joseph, God was a hard act to follow’ taken down as it was ‘disrepectful’.

I cracked up at art gallery aqua couple. Perfect.

I know of no double aqua couples but I love your take on aqua love. Majority of crushes turn out with venus aqua, at the least- which I always thought was a bit annoying for a passionate scorpio, mind penetration being essential and all, but with all the uranus action and sagg space queenie I may be bats enough and living the kind of lifestyle they are looking to befriend.

If anything did come of myself and Aqua finance forecaster we would be on this list.

I LOVE AQUARIANS and believe they should NOT hang together as their delightful foibles need to be shared around.

This is exactly why I am with an Aqua! I love their battiness & how they get swept away with their latest obsessions.

The Aqua & I are opposites in careers & because of that we have very different lives & the only thing we really share is our relationship. I looove it, get loads of space without the weirdness or neediness, we both get to do what we want & genuinely support each other in that. Of course the Aqua thinks I have the attention span of ant & I don’t listen to their scientific evidence for ‘everything has an explanation’ blah blah…

But it works… thats the fun of it, its honest & hysterical.

interesting … how does that work when all you share is the relationship? I keep ending up either having affairs with peeps I work with or working with the boyfriends … so not used to just having only the relationship in common …
how do you cope when you have to explain everything to the other person about your work rather than them understanding it ‘cos they do it too?
or does the Aqua do something different yet totally interesting?
just interested because I’m questioning my own paradigm here & looking at other peoples’ relationship models. :)

The Aqua’s job is far more interesting than mine, whereas mine isn’t really rocket science. We talk about our day only in how it was etc. but we spend much more time talking about msf, congo, darfur, asylum seekers nesb’s, disadvantage communities etc.

I think that is the fun of being with an Aqua it isn’t a conventional relationship & frees you up to have a bit of fun in an unconventional way ;) ….

      Speaking of scientific explanations….

The Aqua & I had a visitor last night after we went to bed… In the form of a light. 8O

I didn’t realise the Aqua had been aware of it as I sat in bed wondering what it was that was at the foot of our bed. This morning I mentioned it loosely & the Aqua said they saw it too. ‘Oh really? well come on what was it then?’…. *taps foots*

      SILENCE……

The Aqua says ‘yes, ok it was something but I don’t know what is was exactly…..’

OMG the gadgets, the science and the giving of evidence – lol I have moments where I hear myself saying things like this – I don’t need to know how it works I believe you and YES isn’t it amazing, but I can do that myself I don’t need a machine to do it, Oh of course we need one but I’m not sure it’ll make it up the stairs and we don’t have any more double adaptors so I’m not sure where you’d plug it in, maybe we’ll put it on layby and work it out ok?… madness

I wasn’t saying it’s a good thing re mind penetration ;) usually I am super sleuth at sniffing out people but he evades my radar and I am fascinated by that. I think that is the key to netting a Scorpio, get off the radar.

Aqua insists there is nothing more too him and I will be disappointed when I discover this but I just dig his weird hybridness, he rides a bmx to work everyday like a demon and gets changed in his suit at the office.

I had been living with American Aqua boyfriend for short while when his Aqua sister & her Aqua husband (born 1 day apart) came to Australia & moved in- okay, so thats 3 Aquas & so maybe it was my Aqua moon that thought this might even work, my Neptune squared Leo sun was like the psychic sponge for everything in the room besides the inanely insipid conversation…not surprisingly exit moi via fire escape asap…!

So does this apply to coples with aqua planets? Like me with Aqua rising and my man who has aqua moon? it sure fits what you’ve posted. 2 very differnt people from 2 different planets who need lots of space to survive. Would never contemplate living with him but he is fascinating in lots of ways so we jsut orbit each other and occasionally fly our space ships to a another planet to meet up.

I will never EVER go out with another Aqua again. 1st boyf was aqua, lke me, we had the most intense relationship. We were all over each other as soon as we met. We shunned all our friends and were inseperable. It lasted for 2 years, I don’t know how. But, it was so melodramatic. I’m talking fights in the street, parents ringing to abuse, suicide threats and copius tears. I felt so liberated when it finally ended.
