Merry New Moon In Saggo

20h3mlw

I think that there is always something we can take from Sagittarians and their ability to relax, enjoy nature and be completely frank with where they are at regarding a variety of subjects. Resolutions for the New Moon in Sagittarius should (sorry, not should – there is NO such word as “should” in the Saggo vocab) MAY include themes to do with candour, enjoying the outdoors more, learning some better/more jokes and applying more of a sporting attitude to life.

Well the two recently turned 21, Saggs are ensconced at Palazzo Versace for another couple of nights. I think my daughter is treating this as a peek into a world that feels very foreign to her….sort of like a very plush safari…

I’ve been getting daily updates …first day while wrapped in a robe with G&T in hand. Second after a massage, today it was at the poolside with sushi…she says she’s not seen so many medusa heads in one place…and is slightly concerned that there are people who think this is a normal way of life.

oh and the other night they went to some extremely flash versace restuarant and each time she would come back from the bathroom some guy would get her a new napkin and place it on her lap, delicately using forks…*no hands ma*… she did say the food was good.

I have a fairly strong Sag influence with Mars, Venus and Neptune (and Lillith and another female asteroid, but not Juno, can’t think of it right now), but every time I do complete candour my Capricorn sensibilities guilt me out. And being a Capricorn, I find it difficult to tell a joke, though I can be unwittingly witty.

Anyhoo, I’ll go with the sporting attitude towards life. My sport being martial arts, of course. :)

I saw the new movie about Keats (Bright Star) last night, thinking it would be a cool, romantic way to spend the night with my partner. Wrong! What a depressing and traumatic film… So un-Sagg!

i’m a writer (yep, my day job!) so i found a lot of the little jokes about writing to be hilarious, but they went right over head of my partner.

i have a number of criticisms of the film, particularly the way it begins – it seems an arbitrary point to start the story as they seem to have already met before the story starts, but this relationship comes from nowhere. a few other plot developments are a little jarring and i wanted to reach out and slap Fanny a few times though her carrying on was probably very appropriate to story of who she is. for example, she gets a very short letter from Keats while he is away and loses it, wants to kill herself cos she thinks its all over, but when she wails on about it to her mum, it became funny cos i could relate to it (you kow, when you write a long letter/email to a guy and get maybe 2 lines back and think he’s not interested)

also i’m not a huge fan of poetry other than a very narrow range of poets whom i just adore. if you love poetry and tortured, tragic love stories then you will love it. sort like a jane austen novel, especially with one of the main themes being very similar.

it opens boxing day so you won’t have to wait too long.

Thank you for your excellent review! Really? Perhaps the writers expected the audience to know enough about Keats to understand what was going on and who Fanny was. I assume this because I can count the number of people I know who’ve read anything by Keats on one hand, practically. Perhaps two. Sigh. Ahh, Fanny. How melodramatic she could be. Poetry can be very iffy. I find I have a love/hate relationship with poets, despite being one myself. I do love Keats’s poetry. I have a nice hardcover collection of it to fawn over, haha. I’m here in the US, so I’m not sure if it’s going to open nation-wide here. It was playing in this small artsy theatre in the city I live right next to in September, but it only played for a few days so I didn’t get the chance to see it. I found out it was showing there the day after it stopped playing! I’ll have to keep an eye out for the writing jokes!

I have moon in Sagg, does that mean I have an extra nice time or that my foot gets in my mouth a bit more than usual?

Those wet dark moons can get me down.
My Scorp mother rang first thing this morning and cleared some stuff with me I have been waiting and trying not talk about until the moon left the dark side.. and she did it all by herself!!!

Am proud of both of us – her for communicating, and me for the opposite, afterall, “a closed mouth gathers no foot”.

The mark I most often get is a distinction, but this time thought I’d be lucky to scrape through with a credit…but distinction again…it actually encourages me to apply a little bit more effort to the subject I withdrew from the most (business law and ethics0 and now finally I have to actually do it, if I want to graduate this April…and I do…so…off to match up case law to an analysis on negilence squeee….

LOL THE SAGGO PIC LOVING IT!
the new moon was last night right? Wednesday the 16th? – IT WAS 39 DEGREE’S IN MELBOURNE! and let me tell u – its hard to relax and de-clutter in that enviroment. and yet me and my bro sat outside eating icecream lol!

Was the New Moon meant to envoke some strange ass dreams Mystic? – i has the most weird dream!
me and 4 others (faceless – as in i dont recall their names or faces but im sure they did have them – Two men, a young women approx 20-25 and a young girl who i felt the highest connection to for some reason)
Anyway, the 5 of us were walking down this street at night and came to this group of people standing outside the building. they said that if we went into this tiny tunnel on the side of the building, and followed the path for like 200m we would find this old coins that would make us all rich. We said no, so they pushed us all into this building (through the front door – not the little side hole).

Anyway inside this building you can hear screaming and see these bars – we then realise it is a prison and that the inmates have escaped murdering the guards and other in there – the two men in our group sprinted off down this other corridor, 5 minutes later we hear their screams and me and the 2 girls start SPRINTING towards a hopeful exit.

We hear someone following us and realise its one of the escaped inmates armed witha knife – the oldest girl falls and tells me to run and get the little girl outta here = i run, carrying this girl who is sobbing on my sholder,

I’m running so hard my legs are killing me, and then i see this figure running at us, i take off my belt and in a final attempt at saving myself and this girl i belt the crap outa this person – the girl is captured by some other criminal

      hey matt,

i had really full on dreams too last night- one in which i was being chased by Simon Baker (of all people) who wanted to kill me, but i was always a few steps ahead of him. then i thought, this is futile, he’ll catch up eventually, i have to think of a better plan. so i got far enough ahead that i could wait for him, and when he turned the corner i said to myself ‘you’re dreaming, imagine yourself a gun’ so all of a sudden id conjured up a gun, and i shot him, but there was no bullets/blood etc, and i had to make the ‘bang bang’ noise myself. every time an invisible bullet hit him he just dissolved a little more into nothingness until he disapeered entirely. the End!

      full on! but cool!

saggigal, I am a novice at dream analysis, but i think when we shoot or hit someone in our dreams we are getting rid of what they represent in our lives or in ourselves. Might be interesting to ask your self what the Simon Baker character represents to you ie. what words/feelings would you use to describe him in your dream? Then look at those words. Do they fit a theme that you are done with in your life, or some characteristics of yourself that you are trying to rid yourself of? I KO’d someone in my dreams recently (knocked them out dead with one punch!), which is unusual. After initially feeling a bit horrified, I figured out that the person represented some characteristics that I have moved on from. That felt good.

        Your resolutions above sound Fab!

I too dreamt last night and have woken with a strong sense of happiness and self-acceptance combined with elements of freedom swirling around and through me. Perhaps the healing has commenced and my feng shuing is taking effect? Perhaps it is staying away from those who do not respect me and claiming my power in my own right?

My dream last night was much less dramatic that those posted above but still lovely: I dreamt that my ex-husband (a Libra) had met someone nice to be with and that I was was genuinely happy for him. It was such a positive dream that I sent him a text saying so and wishing him a happy day today.

All of your lives seem so much more glam and exciting than mine. I attended a car accident last night – a young girl (not even in her twenties) had managed to flip her mothers car on its roof – smashing the front and all the windows. She was so lucky to get out with just a scratch to her arm and slight concussion BUT her mother went completely freaking psycho when she saw her car – she didn’t give a rats about her daughter. Needless to say all us firies were completely appauled at this woman’s behaviour and we’ve seen people do weird shit when they are in shock but she even accused her daughter of speeding in front of the police officer! Some people have got their priorities sooo screwed up. I couldn’t wait to get home to hug my children. I mean a car is just a fuqing car.

    Stay safe my astro-colleagues… x

Thanks Shell – the car accident was ok – I’ve seen worse and – you know its what I do – and any incidents were there are no injuries are deemed good incidents – but it was just the mothers reaction / lack of care regarding her daughter that was awful.

I love being a firey – even though we see some awful stuff – it does feel really good to help people and doing something positive for the community. And most of the blokes in my brigade are darlings (all taken, of course, one day my fire-fighter will come, hope springs eternal…) so yeah, part of the reason I told the Gemini-slut-boy to get lost was because he was very dismissive / degrading of my brigade and the service. Time to move on and enjoy life.
