I was just thinking that you KNOW you are an Astro-Fiend when you don’t know anyone’s age but you think of them as pre-Saturn Return or pre-Pluto-Neptune (that happens age 25) or Uranus Oppositioning…About to have their Chiron Return. Etc.
Second Astro-Fiend Indicator is when you suddenly get an ‘aha’ moment re an astrological syndrome you never normally think of and it wows you out. Astrology IS Uranian. I mean, it’s ruled by Uranus so it’s not Neptunian like Reiki. Impulses and concepts flash in and out. It can be faddy. Like you can spend months tracking Lilith and then get over it.
So I tend to be a bit blase about my progressed chart but i had the most major health vibe the last few days – v.Saturnine and full on self-controlling etc – even though Saturn nowhere near anything significant. It was strong enough to be weirding me out. I mean, suddenly i can’t stand wheat, alcohol, sugar, alcohol, coffee or dairy. Am craving salads…If I could SELL this i would!
So finally i check out my progressed chart and voila: Progressed Saturn has moved from being in a really wide orb trine to Neptune in natal chart to it being EXACT now. It’s also exact trine Part of Fortune in health sector and exact opposite Pluto. So Saturn strengthens my Neptune & suddenly I can’t stand anything even remotely addictive. I mean, there are opiates in bread and cheese!

My aha moment of astro the other day- while going through my music collection I found a correlation between the type of music that I really like, to my venus. Whatever sign your venus is in, you tend to like the musicians who have some of that in their chart..( I was like wow) For eg, thinking that stevie nicks must have some cancerian in her, yes venus. The eagles, don henly has venus in cancer, michelle branch, kate bush and my mars in scorp likes the divnlys, chrissie is sun-mars scorp, annie lennox

Ooo-that’s so interesting. And true! I’ve got Venus in Scorpio and some of my favorite musicians are water signs: Jeff Buckley (Scorpio), Josh Groban (Pisces), Ligabue (Pisces), etc.

Um, I aint no astro fiend, but I have noticed for the past week and a half or so that I want fruit smoothies, or cheeses with basic biscuits and sprouts or even yoghurt for breakfast or what passes for a ‘lunch time’.
This is quite unlike me! I hate diets and avoid them as a sort of ‘fuq you idioits’ jaunt against all of the ‘you are fat, ugly and you must do this before you will be a good person’ push by all aspects of media here in the western world.
Glad I’m not the only one to be observing myself with amusment/bemusement Mystic.

yes, I am an astro fiend, I am one of those people who “has” to find out sun sign (although I love the game of guessing and finding out) and who analyses world political events (a la a few days ago) in terms of astrology. So some more politically “wise” acquaintance of mine might be going on about how such-and-such is an idiot and they can’t understand why they are in the position they are in… and I’ll be like “Duh – x is a sagittarius male and y is a saggitarius woman, naturally they are going to be into that, and z is a cap with scorp rising, even if he was into it he’d never admit it”…. When the US elections were on, I was not checking out Obama’s or Sarah Palin’s web pages, I was checking out their astrology.
And this goes for work politics too.
And I wouldn’t dream of getting my hair cut on a waning moon or getting my legs waxed on a waxing moon.
I don’t know if there is something in the air in general re health — have been finding it really easy to eat healthy this week as well – not a sliver of craving for sugars…
But boy am I glad that Moon in Taurus squaring all the fixed signs is outta there… my god that felt like the slowest 2.5 work days of my entire life. Thank god things are moving again.

1. Funny that Astrology is Uranian, but Aquarians are most likely to dismiss it.
2. Had a good laugh at thinking of people pre or post Saturn return. Maybe it is that I am POST Saturn return – more than just astro fiend.
3. Regarding the progressed chart – had an aha! moment yesterday when chatting with a crush who said, “oh yes, I am Scorpio rising”. It (the odd attraction) makes sooo much more sense now (being that my progressed sun, natal uranus and north node are all in Scorpio).-
yes aqua man hates my astro-ness. is big clunk there. but our hot as hell mars venus sagg combo makes up for it..
scary big moon for some though, my other moon in sagg girls have KO’d into some kind of lightning depression re love life status.
I just feel like I am being given info I wasn’t meant to see before and trying not to let neptune put her goggles on my venus action unless it’s to visit for creative inspiration.

I’m def an astro fiend and will never grow tired of lilith altho my interest in damocles may have been a fad. I did work all my arabic parts out once but I lost the piece of paper.

Feeling more normal than I have in at least a week. Was able to arise at relatively reasonable hour and do something vaguely sensible like … have a coffee. This instead of waking up and thinking, wow I think I’ll email a bdsm dominant and tell him all my sexual perversions. That’s wot happens when yer midheaven is Aqua ruled and Uranus goes direct.

There’s 2 ways you can have the progressed chart on astro does anyone know what the diff is? there’s the one where it’s natal and progressed on the outside and then there’s the progressed one with transits on the outside – that one changes the houses where all your planets are. I’m not sure which one to look at and what to make of the 2nd kind – but I would much rather have that one because it puts pluto, jupiter, uranus and mars all in my 2nd house. That seems lucky. Are there any knowers of stuff around who can clarify for moi?

Prowln, i dont think there is a difference. The natal and progressed chart just shows you what progressions are aspecting your natal planets and the progressed chart shows the transits affecting the progressed chart all the same….just progressed to natal planets and transits to progressed… it makes it easier to understand that way….does that make sense??? Lokk at both becasue they are both relevant…

Funny slippage. EXCELLENT thanks for the wisdom sassy – cos normally I have nothing but obscure asteroids and most of my arabic parts in the 2nd house. Lets get some planets going on and mix it up.
And NO, no crap thanks not unless it’s my own. I just worked Saturn in Virgo to the max if anyone else didn’t do the work get back to me in 29 years, we’ll chat then.

Btw my new mac book arrived today… the aqua was all bug eyed staring at it & I couldn’t work out why… I said ‘do you want it, I mean we can swap macs if you like?’ Mind you the aqua’s macbook is top of range for work etc & this was such a bizarre conversation until I remembered the post from other day….

Used the gem moon energy to get all sorts of writing accomplished before it went void. It just flowed out like I was supercharged or something. Maybe having a Gem Moon and Sun makes it even more so.
