Time, dear impetuous saggo, T…I…M….E…. its OK to let some pass, espec after what you have been through. It can take a LONG time to get to know yourself again, to heal and to grow a little bit. It is not a race or a competition, even tho the pop media would have us believe it is.

I think it is brave of you to mention the word co-dependent. I reckon many of us (self included) are a lot more so than we would like to think we are, and it doesn’t make for being a good partner. It puts too much strain on our relationships, in my opinion. So good on you for investigating that concept in relation to yourself SS. Keep going with it. And learn to enjoy just being. And since you are a sagg I would add, just being with a large dose of excercise every day!

Also, don’t kick yourself in the head, give yourself some of that caring & love that you long to bestow on other creatures… turn it to yourself for a little while.

Prowln yes this tres sensible – I do need stable. I do tend to leap into situations and get into all sorts of situations. I should do a ful warning forecast with Mystic. It is probably the Scorp Rising in me that likes to play with fire at times. Sigh! What a pity that nunneries are not common these days? I probably would be too noisy and active for them anyway! Will go back to my Sci Books instead! Nothing like escapism.

sometimes after a rollercoaster ride SS one needs a bit of hyper stability. It certainly does work in giving one peace. But then you can get overboard with that and become completely stuck, feeling like a rat going round and round the same maze, the same tedious grind. Well at least that’s what my saggy moon, aqua mars and gem asc like to say. But it’s a personal thing and each being must decide the “mix” that works best for them, depending on their personality and circumstances etc. Personally I would stay away from the stingy Ex in your case – up to you of course but my sense is you need a bit more of the stable for awhile.

Non, you are tres correct, I am very much aware of being careful about mixed messages. People can read things totally the wrong way. My just being friendly, is like I am interested in them in a more than friends way.

I am trying to get used to the fact that I am fine on my own and to stop being so bloody co-dependent – shudder hate the word. But I guess that is what it is as I am so used to bloody well looking after the whole world, loving them, protecting them, rescuing stray animals – 4 legged mainly! Arrrgh! I wish I could give myself a good kick in the head! Or my back side to get on with it- with life and stop being wistful!

Yeah, I hear what you are saying prowln, I have been on a roller coaster for so long as ye all know and yet I am already getting a tad fidgety with the stability I have had lately! How nutso is that? A hot but stingy ex has just sms’d me and I went aaargh, but am refusing to be drawn in. Am trying to be Saturn Girl…..and resist all temptation! Yawn! Yeah I know! My fingers are singed so I am oh so cautious.
