AAaah Karl, despite his humour the man is a walking encyclopedia of fashion costumery. He can apparently ID ANY collar style in mens fashion, circa as well. I didn’t know until recently how much costume work he has done aside from fashion but it makes total sense now.
Did anyone see the house of chanel thing they had going on tv for a while? the relationship between himself and the head tailor is hilarious.

the more i hear about Karl Lagerfeld, the more fantastic I think he is as a general fashion person. WE don’t get many out there fashion personas coming up thru the ranks non?
but formidable yes. he also reminds me of a more finicky, petite version of my father, or maybe that’s just the white hair ponytail, dark tan, european demeanour and attitude …

I am not happy with his pants. Are you sure he’s a Virgo … Virgo’s are usually very pleasing to the eye and evenly balanced but this one looks like a Capricorn … all top heavy with a big head. I’m sure he’s a very nice and talented fellow. The dude behind him looks like a potential serial killer.

Well, honestly, he is probably THE most serious man in fashion but He’s Karl Lagerfeld and he’s very German (though he states himself “european” as do a lot of successful germans of that generation for obvious reasons..) so it’s a lot more subtle and rude. He is so quotable though!…
Trousers a touch 80s cowboy for the jacket cut (which is when I think he made his status through this look?) which is the ONLY thing he wears and has made him some kind of fashion entity now. The collar has all the starch and cut obsessionary which is so virgo. He loves a strict buttoned collar and tie almost bordering on auto asphyxiation.
Models don’t smile its not a family photo it’s work but I can assure you if she’s made it to Chanel her bank balance is at least smiling
