The Sun Is Void In Scorpio

01AwcA9kYSfEYAeSgBAAAADPIMVwY-Yes, the Sun can be Void too…

That is, between major aspects before it moves into the next sign. So the Sun is now Void in Scorpio…it makes no major aspects before it moves into Sagittarius this weekend.

No need to flip – it’s mellow & metaphysical. But maybe be extra alert for elements of lower-Scorp behaviour so that you may modulate it. Haute Scorpio is the Phoenix. Lower Scorpio is the Scorpion, scuttling around the desert with the constant shits because their stinger is sandbitten or whatever, maybe because said Scorpion is seemingly unable to mate (or even flirt) without involving ’stingplay’.

I may have misread the Scorpion entry in my textbook but that IS the gist. Vengeful and kinky – if the Scorpions had internet access, they would definitely be on Google Earth with their stingers out, cross-referencing back to inland revenue and/or the doctors records they’d “Paid” their Ex-Ex to “acquire.” That’s LOW Scorpio I am talking about…

But you don’t want to go Scorping out when the Sun is Void there…

I answered the only part of the question I could – the ethical / behavioural norm part of it was a veritable minefield lol. I’ve been reading anais nin today LL and it’s made me think all kinda weird thoughts. Or maybe it was the sun… time go to lie next to the snoring aquarian. Sweet dreams.

Wow. The Sun being void in Scorpio would explain my existential weirding day then… went to the John Lennon Museum here in Tokyo and got caught up in the spell that was John’s Message and Imagination. Yoko Ono put it all together and boy, is she an inscrutable artist. Her influence on John was profound … And just now I typed in “Barbarella” on Youtube and was taken to a vid all about the Nephilim and the Giant Gods from the 10th planet outside Pluto’s orbit… (accordng to the ancient Sumerians). Apparently these Nephilim were the offspring of the “angels” and Earth women (Genesis: 6:1-4). Quite the singular Scorpionic metaphysical outing ’twas. I’d be interested to hear Mystic’s take on these beings.

is that the annunaki stuff HH? or am i mixing the primal deities? It’s interesting all that – if you go to the nexus magazine website they have their archives available for download i think by the article for a few dollars – they’ve done a lot of archaeology stories about the giants if you’re interested in that stuff.

totally it’s amazing how much there is once you scratch the surface. I had a phase of going to talks given by esoteric/metaphysical I dunno what to call them – fringe? archaeologists – I am SO not having THAT phase any more and just typing those words made me shake my head and think nerd but while it was going on it was pretty enthralling – I was deeply obsessed.

apparently scorps are renowned for giving knives as presents. don’t freak out. also apparently, the tradition is to include a coin with the knife gift The recipient then gives the coin back to the gift giver as though they have ‘bought’ the knife from them, so that it doesn’t ‘cut’ the friendship.

Well, I think the scorp influences have been working on me as a pisces too. The description of a scorpian scuttling around with the constant shits about whatever has been me for the past couple of weeks!

Today I feel fabulously carefree and therefore a much nicer person to be around since I decided yesterday this ‘to fill in time and get some money for Cambodia xmas trip’ merchandising job is the biggest phurphy for earning money I’ve ever attempted. And I think I’ll quit. The work itself has been great, its the chained to the computer after duties that is slave labour. I need to get back to my studies and family as the focus of my day!

Yes but I can’t help thinking that subconsciously the Scorp was saying fuq you to the friendship! And I just can’t get over it. To me giving a knife as a gift is openly hostile and dreadfully meaningful.

    1. fallen angel’s avatar

Right the question is wot kind of knife is it? Though I DO understand your concern specially coming from a double Scorp, secret meanings et al.. but do you get that vibe?

I ask the question as if it is one of those ginzu whatzamathingy knives that are meant to turn you into an insta-sushi-chef, is horribly expensive or it is a blade that pertains to some esoteric meaning i.e. a ceremonial witch blade to protect you from evil etc., there could have been a completely different intention – but again I would say it all boils down to the context of your current relationship with her.

I did have a boss give me a set of knives once but I was moving to a new place, and it also came along with a grocery voucher, so it was a sort of house warming thing, which I took for what it is. Plus the knives were from Germany so really good and expensive, not something I’d buy myself right away.

      Lark,
Perhaps try looking at this a different way?
Scorpios (& Scorp risings) LOVE good knives. They are a thing of useful precision and a good one is expensive. I’m sure your friend meant it as a thoughtful and useful gift. Ask her a question about the knife and I bet she will tell you something good about it and you will hear positive things in her answer. Maybe your paranoia about the knife as a gift is a bit to do with the Sun void in Scorp as Mystic is posting about (misplaced paranoia being a Lo-Scorp trait)?

Still riding some waves of my loosing my cool on a girls weekend.
Had a _fabulous_ and inciteful converstation with my Cancerian friend. My Aries bestie was more difficult. She dropped into the conversation that I was (amongst many things… including being wrong about my own feelings) unhappy because I don’t have a husband and they do (they doesn’t include my _other_ Arian friend).
I have no issues with not having a husband. I told her at the beginning of this year I wanted to take a time on the relationship front so I could get me being stable and happy first.
I am putting knives down. I will do my best pheonix-like impression. Take all of the constructive critque on board. And I will try and find a way I can communicate that I do not need a man to function normally with being terse or too opinionated.

god i hope you don’t mind me saying but what a bitch – you don’t need a husband and people who have them and think other people must be sad because they don’t are maybe living in a dream world VAGG. I have a husband and tho I’d never trade him for anything or anyone and he’s the best thing that ever happened to me in the form of another human I’ve gotta say in my experience marriage has to be one of the most overrated rites of passage that a person could go through. Even if we weren’t married I’d still be hanging out with him and the piece of paper would never stop me from leaving if that’s what I thought I needed to do. Don’t let her bring you down.

LOL lucky I asked if you minded then – single is so much better than shacked up with the wrong one for the sake of it – THAT would be unhappy. Single was so much fun – I often think I wish I was single again but my husband would have to be with me to enjoy it too hahaha.

venus a-go-go maybe she only values herself in union with her husband…so has extreme difficulty seeing your independent self as happy…also I find people that tell me how I feel highly suspicious…as in wtf super powers beamed you inside of my brain? Once told someone that tried this bullshit with me that she was awesome as I had no clue what I was thinking until the nanosecond one neuron connected with another…so fricking awesome she was. NOT.

Kudos to you controlling language to saying aries friend was difficult.

I swear there’s a woman in one of my study groups who’s the mad scorp with sand in it’s crevices – just reading through the discussion boards – o so much less interesting than these and the crazy chicks totally gone mental at the tutors and named all their flaws (as she sees them – granted she is remarkably accurate) for all the world to see.
