Antares, I listened to all 9 minutes 57 seconds of that first message and I have to say that I heard absolutely nothing of any specificity in it. I counted three messages that could be seen to ‘predict’ the Collider not working if that is your point of view:

(1)…the Hadron Collider will in some way be blocked from working…
(2)..so it looks as though something will stop this from happening until the timing is absolutely right…
(3)…I see some kind of block regarding the 10th of September…

At no point does Pixie say, “The Hadron Collider will be switched off because X happens…” In hindsight what she does say seems highly predictive, but these statements are fairly ambiguous and open to interpretation, as the messages of all channelers, mediums, psychics, clairvoyants are. If particles had collided and nothing been produced, then the statements above would also have predicted this.

Other than that all I heard was waffle, but waffle at a fairly superior level. I am particularly impressed at the way Pixie picks out scientific words that would appear in the press about the collider, says they’re words that are being fed to her by the spirits, but that she can’t understand them because they’re about scientific concepts beyond her ken. And yet uttering these words gives what she is saying a kind of gravitas.

It reminds me of that classic line from The Secret about how the Law of Attraction works:

“How does it work? Nobody knows. Just like nobody knows how electricity works. I don’t, do you?”

If we aren’t all regarding electricians and electrical engineers as mystical shamen, then we certainly should be!

dear davidl the first link/message that i listed was actually given four days before the Collider was actually first ever switched on the 10th September 2008, so if you could just put your cynism to one side for a minute you might learn something

it appears that the thing will continue to brake down and probably wont be running for some time, until we are ready for it….
