Again, Friday 13 is not a problem. It really is not. It’s Goddessy and awesome – go here for my previous rant re it. And while we’re at it, black cats are lucky as well.

It is Freyja’s day in Norse Myth – that’s venus! how can that be bad :) seriously though its the whole witches association church whispers 13 being a good number for the coven (ala moon cycle) same with cats. It’s funny how some people still get spooked by things that were made up in a time of hysteria- the world was square, scientist were satanic for disproving ‘god’ and if you had a cold you had been bewitched.

The 13th letter of the alphabet is ‘M’.
Some images are set in stone they have been around so long, they solidify
      in the collective psyche.

A person once told me when i was young & pliable, to believe nothing that you heard
& half of what you read.

Matty, my father’s side of family from Sicily but as i was brought up by mother’s side
& most of his family were in Toarmina/Giardino, never experienced the great sunday
feast get togethers & real warmth of the Italians. My Oz nana would not even say ’spaghetti’
she dislikes his side so much (it was the 50’s), so i missed the whole kiss kiss eat eat kiss & eat.
So your family stories delight me:-)
Back in the 60’s, if one said they were half Italian, it resulted in the joke of ‘which half’ as they
hoped i was the female equivalent of an Italian Stallion, before it became a cliche.
So i grew up half proud as & half cringe from the wog jokes about them before wogs became an endearment:-)
Must say Madonna helped with lift the game with the Tshirt of ‘Italians do it Better’ before Sinatra wowed them.
(this is inside information i trust you with Matty, for your eyes only)

mum’s side is from sicily too!
Toarmina is a beautiful place – im stopping there for 5 days next year
The great sunday’s are pretty rare over my family too but man the xmas/easter stuff is like UNBELIVABLE “MANJA MANJA – Matteo veine a utare the lamb” half english half italin linguestics should be tuaght in schools i swear!
lol the ITALIAN STALLION lol its stilll popular!
“wogs” nowadays are very respected individuals on the “highschool hierachy” right up there with the “barbie dolls” lol

Matty, are all Siclians related or something?
Know some of ‘the family’ from Taormina settled in Melbourne & Philadelphia
& are well known Baseballers in UsofA.
I was told Taormina is a ‘billionaires’ hangout.
Great ancient architecture & Mt.Etna an active volcano still.
‘The family’ want my DNA to prove blood relationship before acceptance
& an Italian passport. Seriously, they take it very seriously.

My lovely scorp mum’s lucky number is 13 and has always come through for her…and she owns a black cat. I just see the friday as an excuse to make ‘woooooooo’ sounds and repeatedly use it as an explaination for any weirdness.

it has been a long standing tradition in who knows how many gens of family women to light white candles and think lucky thoughts on the Friday the 13th’s, which have generally been excellent omen days for us over the years. Think I am getting all of my jinx energy out today. Just tipped a boiling coffee over me, the dog and the laptop. Thankfully all seemed to have survived, except for hyper dog who thought it was a coffee waterfall lol

My Mother was a Scorpio born on Friday 13th AND her initial was ‘M’.

My father, my step father, & her following 2 partner/lovers died before she was
50 years old. She managed (stage managed?) 3 suicide attempts…..(she didn’t love the stepfather one!)
She phoenixed after every one but started to believe the bad press re Friday 13
& luck, consequently ’stung’ herself to death at 64 after she made sure i was happy
    in the Pacific Islands.
Suppose that was considerate of her as i could not return, so drank half bottle of her
’sting’ Scotch, & threw a bunch of gardenia’s, her fave flower into the lagoon.
After 15 years i cannot give up her Scorpio Ashes but they will follow the gardenia’s when i return
there, coz Tahitians say ‘when you die your soul goes from Paradise to Hawaii’.
So RIP ‘M’, your ashes are going to the blue lagoon, less expensive than her wish for them to be in
Black Wedgwood Urn & shaken every now & then.
She & black humor, ha ha, that urn she wanted is in the Art Gallery under glass & is probably
valued at round 80 grand, so can’t sneak them into it even:-)

Very deep & meaningful, writing about family today as realised it is my beloved Nana’s anniversary of her
    death.
Venus in Scorps is bringing a few things to the surface, like sex & death?
Thinking of Sagg Butch’s Venus in Scorp, imagine HIS approach to sex & requests.
    NO DON’T!
Methinks the pool is the way to go & cool down in this sexy heatwave we are having in Adders.
Put my body between water & sun, & do a spreadeagled float.

Angel, isn’t there a man-hire in the City of Angels?
Like the ones Madame X had on the site Myst gave us?

I would for sure…. faster than quick as the ones your end would be just as hunky.
Unfortunately in Adders, they are ALL gay, none are man to woman.

Better take a cold shower as thinking of booty texting Butch. I KNOW he’s thinking of me,
    dammit!
To do so would be treading & squishing on all my principles & morals as he would ‘possess’ me again
if i did, i would be HIS & lose myself. Maybe hire Kill Bill again to vent & stop the desire.

OOh Pegs just saw this… yes actually there is and it is serendipitously called (drum roll please) – Cowboys for Angels. Hahahaha…

      http://www.cowboysforangels.com/

Hi quality but quite pricey, in my condition I would need at least 4 hours mmmmkay…I am particularly feeling the Boy from Wisconsin or the Intense looking Saggo though..

I am feeling you about the Invisible Cord, I’ve just found out Scorpface has been shopping for women from MY country, AS IF HE COULD EVEN EVER HOPE TO REPLACE ME, fuqer. Apparently he already has a plane ticket to go there arm in arm with the Hong Kong Hooker. I truly thought he would be better than this.. but GUESS NOT.

I miss the good things I had with him, but there is NO WAY I am ever letting the force fields down after this. I am perfecting my Deflective Corona this very moment.

I wouldn’t paying that kind of money for conversation, as I can entertain myself that way pretty well.

Hmmm – I sent a letter of resignation to my fire brigade last night after various comments that I’ve been ‘too bossy, intense, serious’ about fire-fighting of late. Some think it may be there are those who resent a woman in a position of authority – just like those women who were deemed witches because they possessed knowledge and self-awareness… Perhaps I shall break my avoidance of candles and pay homage to those women and female attributes so disdained by Christian, Anglo, patriarchy. Perhaps my children and I will have a sprinkler dance in backyard tomorrow night instead :)

Pegasus – yes its bloody hot here – and the pool sounds like where I’ll be heading this weekend.

Thanks Pegasus for the postings. Some context: I was elected to the pos of Leuitenant (forgive my spelling) a few weeks ago – the first female lewy in the history of that brigade – I was happy – the brigade seemed happy BUT there were a number of blokes who have made grumbles, complaints and had ‘chats’ with me about my ‘behaviour’ and the ‘need to respect those who have had more life experience / managerial experience than yourself’ etc etc. To the point when I recieved a phone call from my ex-Piscean love but now friend, who has since retired from the brigade, that people are talking about me beyond the brigades inner ranks – saying that I’m too bossy and that I’m not letting ‘them have fun anymore’ – VERY embarrassing and INSULTING. I have been in the fire service for over 6 years now – responded to more than 600 call-outs – fires, car accidents, trees down etc – day and night. I’ve been to the big fires and the little ones – but there are some blokes who can’t handle a woman being in charge. And they’re are the ones who will not do as they are directed when the manure hits the air-conditioning but I will be the one that wears it as a Leiutenant, so, I’ve sent a letter of resignation to my Captain – outlining the reasons why – and we will see how he responds.

Just wanted to add – hey I know we are on the cusp of serious firey time but I can’t keep giving my energy and time to people if I’m going to get kicked in the head (metaphysically) everytime I go to the station. Hope you’re keeping cool.

sounds like you are getting between the boys and their toys, don’t you know it’s all for them!

Women are way too good when they discover they can be and see through the smoke and mirrors that hierarchys exist on……… that scares the pants off the blokes both metaphorically and physically, so to be the leader will always be way harder, you will never be one of them but if you did decide to hang on in and persist, you would win in the end and have their respect. like dogs they will follow the leader

sorry gratuitous advice but you wouldn’t have got so far if you weren’t awesomely good and does by this ganging up and intimidation that they are practising, it just shows that they know how good you are.

i remember reading that there was a poor woman in NSW (ambulance, i think, same culture) in a country station that was hounded eventually to her death so it is potentially a very serious issue. it’s very hard to be ganged up on.

i think you are amazing, hang on in there, be like toro the bull, never give up, just snort and dig in your heels, if you want it!

          LOL!
