The guy whose house this is Cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar AND his house is so superfab & unusual…I mean, yes $$$ and so on but what of his taste? He was born in Mumbai, April 23 at 16.20 & so this gives him the Moon exact conjunct North Node in the 4th House – with Pluto approaching. One would say of this set-up that the person would/should feel an inordinate desire to create a memorable and highly individuated personal space – that this would be his Dharma or whatever. How awesome…

And he’s a Taurus, of course…I always get in trouble for saying this BUT Taurus men DO always resemble bobby calves…Or maybe bulls. They throng the ranks of gorgeous guys (Taurus ruled by Venus) but totally have that bovinity…

oooooo it IS isnt it
just AWESOME . i dont know if i want exactly the same but i love that he has embraced design freedom, imagination, colour and heritage (little indian temple spire-thing outside on house) and has the $$ to do it
-
ooh more like a seashell spiral actually
-
ok duh nautilus.

reading that website…god architects (?and others) can crap on . i hate wanky design page-filler talk. but i love the design.
-
Just the website looks iffy, they need to re-design it to be taken a bit more seriously.
Personally, whenever I present an organic form I get shot down by my tutors, you have to rationalize it much more and it is more “sculptural” and hence subjective to individual taste. I’m pro-organic, sick of seeing modernist boxes re-invented by different facade technologies. Or whats worst are the McMansions when you get out in the burbs- really bad for energy consumption etc.

You would walk out into the back yard and think you were on LSD.

Coool …. and believe it or not one could build something like this ones self sans paying an architect and a building company a million dollars!

I DON’T even smoke it but this abode makes me want to hit the chronic. I think we should beam up Mapquest directions to any visiting alien race to this house pronto, they would truly be impressed.
-
oh bliss!

all it needs is a river of chocolate….

reminds me of my absolute fave restaurant under the seahttp://www.redseastar.com/design-en.php
what a great future dream!
-
It reminds me of the Teletubbies!

It frightens me … and I can’t believe a Toro male actually designed this let alone lives in it. Where’s the enormous king sized couch that takes up the entire room with sliding panels in the arm rest for easy access to the remote which powers up the home entertainment system that IS the feature wall and the bar fridge conveniently stored in the actual coffee table filled with convenient snacks plus padding for one’s feet …. ???
-
Oh god prowlncat, you had me at ‘enormous king sized couch’… and I’m a Toro femme!
Actually my Leo man would be totally for that decor too – provided it was minimalist & moderne.
-
I love that his Moon is in 4th house, I totally get that! He wants not just *any* home, but HIS home, who cares what everyone else thinks/feels/whatever about it!!! Coz it’s North Node bound.

I LOVE that he went with it and expressed himself totally! And he’s a Taurus, so his fabulously creative home is doubly his sanctuary of a cocoon. Sigh… I may not share all his aesthetics but do love all the greeneries inside and the rounded walls. -
I know a double Taurus with a Leo NN in 4th and he has the blingiest house at Christmas you ever did see.
