can hardly think of anything but my hair.
was tempted to buy wigs – at least four different kinds in colour, cut etc.
    no money. still tempted.
befriended three professional hairdressers during last week, in bars and at a friends place.
    Virgo, Aries Rising, Leo Moon.

Do you know the fairy tale (it is by Brother Grimms) with the girl/princess imprisoned in a tower by some witch? she is being rescued by letting her hair down, thus the proverbial knight can climb up to her… in German she is called Rapunzel – could not find any translation…

OMG yes, I totally wanted to lighten my hair a couple of shades, compromised with just some more foils but it will be honey coloured. Natural shade is really dark brown. And now I’m thinking about trimming the front a bit more, and even permanently straightening. Crazy!

Hahah omg yes. My hair has seen some pretty exciting do’s lately. My favorite is the one I’ve dubbed “super hero hair” or “crime fighting hair.” It’s sortof a pouf-pompadour look, very aerodynamic. It makes me laugh just to think about it, but apparently it looks good b/c i’ve gotten a few compliments on it lately.

YES. I’m a Leo, so my addiction to changing my hair is always relentless, but it is especially strong lately, as it is in that middle stage of growing out and I am frigging BORED of it. I even reference my obsession with my hair on my Facebook profile. It’s that bad.

Everyone thinks I’m a Leo (instead of a scorpio) because of my springy, untameable hair. i have no idea what to do with it, am growing it out in the hope it improves. When I had it long it looked a bit like Lindsay Lohan’s. Maybe I should grow it long again…

I agree, I just last week got all of the long locks cut off – maybe I was having a Brittany Spears moment. BUT i wanted a drastic change and I narrowed it down to what one could call a mullet but I prefer the cool addage of “Rock Chick” I must say a week in and its all doing well. Peeps are lovin it too.

Hah – am in northern spain in an orange alert scenario basically putting up with drenching rain, howling gales, and masses of sea spray. My har has gone crazy, and couldn’t care less!! Aqua mother is plotting a drastic hair cut however to remove te bulk of the ‘coloured’ remains of her locks…. Now I know why!! She’s one of those aqua`s with iconic hair, so any change is radical

Yes…but just not sure what! Now have to wait until into waxing moon phase before I do anything involving scissors…probably wise!

    wow.
I am travelling on a strict budget, and upon discovering I had a spare, mysteriously unaccountable-for couple of hundred dollars…I spontaneously went into a hairdressers today and 5 hours later have a platinum blonde pixie bowl cut thing.
I went in with a jaw-length length black/blue bob. I have never been blonde before in my life.
the hairdresser who did my hair was wearing a 22 inch black wig over her shorter blonde hair.
and then I read this post and it allllll makes sense.

henna took me from blonde to almost exactly the colour in the pic, just after mars made the shift. had been plotting for a while but had to wait til the time was right.

despite all the jokes i got at work about becoming the fiery red head, i found my temperament has changed and mellowed since the colour-shift. much less snarky and impulsive, far more controlled, in command and willing to boldly put myself “out there”. In short, I’m me again, with my confidence restored.

and can i just say how bizarre it is the number of people who have asked me if it’s my natural colour. strangers i can understand, but people i have known for several months are asking me – i did mess with one (on monday’s mega shalt-not-suffer-fools-gladly-but-will-play-with-them vibe) and told them that yes i had all the bleach stripped from hair and now it was its natural, darker, colour. duh! but i take it that the colour works for me.

Hahaaa! As I’m stroking my ginger mid-chest-length plaits, I’m thinking “man, I should just cut them off about…here” I’m just sick of the dry, endy, “natural colour” frizz thing going on. I wanna go raaad, dahling.

What’s stopping me? Well, I do like having long hair when it’s wet. So I guess that means I could just walk around with a spritz bottle and wet my hair all the time – or maybe I could actually do some vague self-maintenance and condition better so it doesn’t frizz… But that all takes effort. Sigh.

I can’t believe I’m a Libra rising. I’m so blah about hair maintenance.

And ppl tend to go nuts for long “natual” hair. “Aww, it’s so lovely,” they coo. Lovely? I want to be bold and fabulous, damn it!! But last time I attempted a radical hair shift, I got a big bold blunt cut fringe and after about three days, I was soooooo over it. And it takes ages to grow out. I learned the hard way.

I’m so cautious – that’s the Cap sun/ venus I guess – but Mars is definitely taunting me. Cut the hair. Cut the hair. Change the colour. You know you want too…

And Mystic – that picture could be ME! Frizzy red hair and me in a winter coat in Summer. I tend to feel the cold… even if there isn’t any…

LOL at the whole lot of you~!!

I spent a king’s ransom at a groovy hairdresser in Gertrude St last month. I went in saying “Back when I was a wee thing, I had these red and golden glints in my hair….” But, ladles and jelly~spoons, just between you n me……(don’t tell a soul) it is now around 80% grey. There are even whisps between my crown and ears that are (brace yourself) silvery~white!

I also stock up on product when I am there too. What’s a Leo gal without product? If we were marooned on a desert island, we’d improvise~! Concoct something using slime that washed up on the shores, i guess. LOL

My bestie who also goes there laughs and teases me saying “It’s all about tits n feathers with you innit?”. Well, *COUGH** Yes~!

Because I have been eating well, and cos of the leave~in conditioner that you pop in before you style and because my notion of styling is to turn my head upside down and finger comb….. it is looking rather fab, if I say so myself.

But I do spend a hideous amount there whenever I go. OTOH, you leave feeling a million dollars…… Its always a good idea to plan to step out after a visit….. Last week (after the 8 week touch up of the racoon strip) I met the man of my dreams…. Literally~! He’s so gorgeous, I go weak at the knees when I think of him……..

Good for you, Ms. Motown! I feel this Mars transit is going to be a really good one for a lot of people in the way of romance, assertiveness, self-expression etc.

I’ve been a bottle blonde for the last ten years, but about two weeks ago I dyed it a dark brown, which is closer to my natural colour anyway, and I’ve had so many compliments about it.

Finally realised that by dying my hair blonde all those years I was trying to be someone else, but being brunette feels more authentic. Also was sick of the attention from creepy guys who only cracked on to me b/c I was blonde. Does anyone else here with blonde hair ever get that?

I am going in to hairdressers fri arvo and i am going to take in a bottle of champagne with me to drink while i send some text messages that need to be sent and i am going to say take it as damn well blonde as you can without it breaking off and bugger the maintenance. I had a dream the other night and i cannot remember but it was something about how my hair was still married even though i am not but that my hair still a beige married blonde but i am thinking fiercely free and independent hot blonde who NO FUQING WAY would want to be saddled with a husband.
    So yes.

Where I live it is soo humid some days, so dry others that I already have a different hair style every day. I had my hair meltdown 2 weeks ago and went for the henna again. I love the way is sends my greys orange!
Everybody comments on it so for a Leo gal it is heaven! So shallow yet soo deep.

Ooh fab .. my aquarian mother loves her henna too! A hairdressser once told her the way that it picks up the grey is like the finest foils that could never be achieved by professionals. She keeps askign me does it look too young :)
She started when she realised that the chemicals she put on her head .. so close to her brain may have something to do with her battiness/ecentricity .. somehow Im not convinced it was the chemicals!

This Gem has blonde hair very much like the pic … frizzy, prone to humidity crisis and wilder than my sex life … so this week I have been dreaming of cuttign it all off and going platinum.
I have had to resist having spent the last 3 years trying to grow it back after cutting off the dreds 16 years ago and sufferign many a layer, razor cut crooked fringe in between!
Oh let it pass … the heat that has hit Qld is drawing me to the hairdressers!
And .. I spent $310 on the full head of foils to return it to a natural blonde status only last month!

ah is that what happened to me?! i trimmed my fringe on sunday, then again on monday; and on tuesday morning i evened it up! in total removed abt 6 inches. had to go yesterday and have my eyebrows dyed as they are now very visible under the tiny ridiculous fringe. embarrassingly short and looks to me like an obv mistake but everyone i see says ‘i like yr new fringe’! last time i cut my own fringe i was about 6 i think & it looked atrocious in the school photo as it does now.

Never being afflicted before, is sandalwood oil an acceptable treatment of dry frizzed ends? And is the smell weird or wonderful? I can’t decide but have gone ahead and done anyway it a few times over the last couple of weeks. Although cutting would no doubt be the best solution, I’m ‘on the prowl’ and believe that long, luscious hair and success are intricately related. My Moon and Venus are in Leo…

Aello, bit of a waste of precious sandlewood to place on hair.

My dear Cancerian and Virgo friends visited my house today (I am Leo) and we sat there laughing at how bedraggled all our heads looked, white, grey and dark roots abounded from our heads variously.

I wouldn’t mind to visit the hairdresser along with my non-Leo friends, I just don’t know if I can be bothered. The closest I come to feeling this hairy vibe is that I blow dried my locks for the first time in two months. But it was a little chill this morning afterall…

My usually flat ironed to perfection mane is slowly growing bigger…and higher…and curlier by the day. And I just spent a bunch of money I didn’t have on nicely packaged hair products…curl amplifier and what not.
