Remember last September, when the switching on of the Large Hadron Particle Collider triggered end-of-the-world-fears? This is, I think, the world’s most expensive and O.T.T. scientific apparatus and experiment ever, designed to replicate conditions at the beginning of the world You can go bats researching it online but basically, it could technically create some sort of a vast black hole.
Or maybe – this is just my non-scientific theory- it will make us able to SEE the Dark or Quantum matter that makes up most of the universe & it will be mega-interesting. Anyway, last time they switched it on something went wrong, like a helium leak or something – Mercury WAS retrograde – and so now they’re going to give another go, as Saturn squares Pluto…
Wow, even better astro for rearranging particles in such a radical fashion. Seriously, there new estimated time of throwing the switch is November 16. Personally, i wouldn’t time it for then though it would be fab if it wound being a really high-end manifestion of Saturn-Pluto. ie; rather than trillions of $$$ being spent black-holing us all – that they discover incredible secrets of the multiverse.
CERN (the joint that hosts the gigantic particle collider) is such a cool & weird place that it features in Angels & Demons, the Dan Brown book/Tom Hanks movie. CERN helpfully have a section on their site all about this – they get their own joke.

This is NOT good ! They are purposely timing it to coincide with not only the Saturn / Pluto square, but it is ALSO the Scorpio New Moon…..this is ominous. The last time they cranked this thing up, the world`s financial system nearly crashed. What the H… is with these guys ???

The world’s financial system crashed because poorly regulated banks and a bunch of greedy f-wits thought it a good idea to lend money to people who couldn’t repay it, then borrow money to buy overvalued assets. A failed physics experiment had nothing to do with it.

If you can manage to botch together the particle collider and the fiscal crash as synchronicity, you live in confusion and paranoia rather than hope.
A lot goes in on the world at any one time. Disregarding the complexity of facts that lead up to certain events to make such nebulous connections is unhinged from reality and a sure route to conspiracy theorizing and other paranoid nonsense.

Considering elemental and astrological energies and observing unassociated events as synchronicitous is neither conspiracy theorising or nonsense. If the ideas were tabled at a meeting of upper management at CERN that would be another thing altogether. As far as I can tell none of them are here.

Attributing meaning where there is none, or stretching it to breaking point is delusional.
Interestingly, Neptune is stationing direct. Like all energies, its a question of balance. Speculation and imagining are wondrous tools in searching for meaning but become delusion when taken too far. My concern is that delusion turns into anxiety and panic. There’s a high level of anxiety in the statements above referring to the particle collider “This is NOT good ! They are purposely timing it to coincide with not only the Saturn / Pluto square,” etc. But not much basis for it.

I chose an alternative path when responding (I have no fear of cataclysm myself) and acknowledged what spirit saw as synchronicity. I encouraged her (I’m assuming you’re a her Spirit – I also wonder if you’re a gemini? or another of the air signs?) to have hope and made her aware she was not alone in pondering these issues – I didn’t think it was necessary to tell her my opinion – simply that she was not alone in having thoughts about it. I also provided another way of considering the events – elementally. I did this because if something bothers you sometimes it’s easier to break it down into more manageable pieces. I was attempting to encourage Spirit to explore alternative avenues of thought in a gentle and subtle way. Sadly I was not allowed to do this.
SPIRIT – there’s a lot going on in the world at the moment and I think it’s great you are using astrology to try and make sense of it all. None of us really knows what will happen with the machine but it’s out of our hands and all we can do is watch and wait and hope it works out. Maybe you could go to astro.com and do a chart to see what the positive transits for the machine are, there’s bound to be something, there’s always a flipside. xxx

You’re on the internet. You’re ‘allowed’ to do what you want. Just as I’m allowed to express my alternative viewpoint. Take it or leave it.
I don’t see how you think having your viewpoint challenged is being not allowed to do something. You’d find that pretty restrictive in the real world. And I post my responses because I think those interested in reading are interested enough to read alternative responses. Disagreement is an immensely clarifying and creative force. In cases of delusion it can also be therapeutic.
And at least I put a name to my views. You won’t name yourself, but I reckon you’re the Anon of old, who gets sour when anyone disagrees with you. Do you expect to post on the internet and get universal hugs and agreement? Good luck with that.

Uber virgo it’s not discussion or being challenged that was sad. It was the bedside manner and patronising language. Botched together, paranoid, delusional, unhinged from reality etc. It comes across vehemently as if you’re angry and not as if you’re trying to help which is actually what I think you were trying to do. At first glance it appeared you weren’t willing to let me be supportive in my own way without giving me a piece of your mind as well. Maybe I misread that.
You talk about the real world and it does make me wonder if that’s how you would approach someone you deemed paranoid or delusional in the real world. If it is then I’m not sure what to think because the language used seems cruel and unfeeling. And if it isn’t why would you do it here? Feel free to disagree by all means as you say that’s what the internet is all about. It was the bedside manner that made me sad not what you said.

The world’s financial system crashed because it was built on unsustainable and dishonest financial policies as well as unrealistic expectations. This is my opinion based on personal metaphysical expeditions mind you … but through these experiences I’ve come to realise that the financial is connected to spirit just as much as anything elese. It is also an indicator of the spiritual health of the global consciousness. Wordly matters are not separate from spiritual ones and each has an effect on the other. The connectedness of all thing and such forth. On a subconscious level we have asked to see the truth …. and here we have the truth – that our so called even playing field free market economy is actually a closed system, tightly controlled and manipulated by a very few who have the knowledge and power to do so, for their benefit and at the expense of everyone else. In other words, in order to see the truth it had to “hit bottom” so it would become blatantly apparent and the behind the scenes machinations could no longer continue under such intense public scrutiny. Not pretty, but the truth rarely is. The whole system was way overdue for a major adjustment and if the particle collider had anything to do with helping it along then I say bring the sucker on! What’s the point in propping up a system that promotes unequal distribution anyway … a few pocket millions while a few billion are on the poverty line? Sorry but that’s just fuqing bullshit …

Hello Spirit I just stumbled across an article about physics/metaphysics and thought of you http://www.skybearastrology.com/skyzone.htm it’s an interesting site with the stories of america’s first nation people interwoven with the astrology of now. I think it’s amazing the way the ancients of pretty much every culture had astrological systems they worked with. It sometimes seems as though the more humankind knows about the universe the more they forget what they already knew. My hope is that the 2012 astrology brings the old and the new together so we have a more holistic approach to science and spirituality. I think the two go hand in hand.

The’re looking for evidence of the Higgs boson, a particle hypothesised to exist as the ‘bulk of mass’ in the universe. My translation is the’re trying to prove that the universe is more than one big illusion and has some actual substance. The other thing they can do with this thing is speed things up to close the speed of light which may give clues to understanding ‘time’. There are black holes everywhere, if they create another one its no big deal. This is the beginning of the end for the concept of linear time and the start of the concept of spiral like time. Soon they will prove what the ancients knew 000′s of years ago, that time, past, present and future occur simultaneously.

YAY …. time, the universe … so poorly understood by the physical sciences alone. It’s interesting how over the past 20 years quantum physics has theorised ideas about these two that seem to lean way over the scientific line into the metaphysical. And since they can’t prove their theories it’s almost as if science is being asked to take a leap of faith reminiscant of the one you take when believing in a creator ….

Time mastery, in my view, is the next leap in consciousness necessary for a truly new age to begin. We all only live long enough, to see a small segment of the time frame necessary for this leap. We’re still more like a monkey than a citizen of the greater universe at this stage ,and if the age of aquarius just got started their are about 2000 years to the end of it. Time mastery will truly change every aspect of our world. It will take all the scientists can add, plus all the meta physicians can also contribute to get it done. This colider is sciences’ contribution to the quest, so far. What the meta physics community has added yet , Im not too sure ? Maybe they can help work out what to do when we have the endless possibilities of timelessness on our hands ?

No pumpkin here Pegs although if granddaughter were around (she lives 85 miles away), would be doing the whole shabang. Made costumes, etc. when the girls were little. Should have seen their flapper dresses/outfits one year!

Do you guys really think that “THEY” are telling us, the general pulic what this thing really is? I reckon its a time machine . I heard that like the black hole creation theory that this thing is supposed to be,time travel is possible on paper in a mathematical equation but is it really possible to build one? Also heard a theory to back up my time machine theory that people from the future have been coming back to sabotage the thing , hence a series of unexplained explosions , breakdowns ,mysterious glitches in security etc? just like in terminator ( well sort of ) oh well anyway im just rambling on it just seems suss as to me . Hope this machine isnt the instrument that sets of a chain reaction to start the end of the world as in mayan calender 2012? P.S i agree with prowlin about spendind trillions on this machine and doing fuq all about the masses living in poverty. IT SUCKS!

Yes, I often think that Damon. Not the time travelling aliens but that HEY why don’t we pour these spare trillions into getting the basics right first – feeding the hungry etc – and then do the fancy stuff later!!!!!
If it were a household run by, say, a single mother and she neglected to feed her kids because she wanted to buy some sort of- i don’t know – really, really cool bang and olufsen tv set or high end computer so the kids are starving but wow, is she schmick or WHAT then there would be hell to pay.
