Actually in “Synthesis Counselling in Astrology” the author says a technically ‘bad’ chart is part of the ‘profile of prominence’. Especially when major planets are in signs of their detriment:
‘The peregrine planet is like a foriegn diplomat. Strange behaviour, ignoring protocols, even crime is excused! The worst thing to do to a diplomat is to send them home. With the planet this can’t happen, so the other planets are slaves to the whim of the peregrine.’

Growing up I used to get this too, that I was pulling a Sarah Bernhardt…most likely due to my fierce resistance to do things in a way contrary to my own inner self.

Although looking back it wasn’t so much childish behaviour as being true to myself around a very heavy handed Virgo father.

And inspirational too. I was working with a French woman today who was frustrated that colleagues in the salt mine in which she works had meddled with a major project of hers. I started exclaiming ‘quand meme’!! and told her about this post and SB’s falling in a ditch story. It made her feel better. ‘It’s all the same.’

Growing up, my childish/adolescent outbursts were typically waved off as “Sarah Bernhardt behavior”. REALLY ticked me off. And now to see she had an Aries Moon opposed a Libran Mars as I do. Late degrees of both signs, but functioning basically the same. Interesting. Wish I’d have had a zazzy Uranus near that moon instead of the heavy handed Saturn. What a different history that’d make!
