My Cancerian Moon Theory

phpoYixYSPMDan-Ah Kim

Alright, hands up who missed me and I have a new theory re the Kataka Moon…It’s in Kataka until this arvo when it zooms into Leo, btw.  London, New York, L.A etc all wake UP with the Moon in Leo…A big flick of the hair, some grandiose affirmations and WHAM: Life As Art.

Anyway, with this Crabby Moon, my theory is that you feel ratty and/or neurotic (crabby!) during the Cancerian Moon IF you don’t self-nurture. So those of you that caned it – including me – on the weekend when you should  have been lying in bed reading soothing poetry, snorting lavender oil and listening to dolphiny music will totally have found it hard to sleep, due to fretful ‘lower Crab’ freakouts. It’s just a theory.

Yes? No?

I did try the self-nurture saturn style & had incense wafting around the house, gym sessions & no alcohol but I still felt so crabby. Even the aqua & I had a fight sun morning, I just had to let off some steam…. So crabby was I! lol.

Yesterday (Saturday, L.A. time), I took the whole day off from any and all chores and did nothing but play on line and watch the telly. Also took a nap. Today feel grand as up at 5 and got laundry done early and made me and Mom a real special breakfast.

Now off to the pool for some luscious sun rays as we not as hot here now….only 80-90f. Very Leonine, don’t you think?

I had a full-on carb fest weekend, thank you very much cancer moon. I put back on the 4 kilos that the diet doctor (Ian Marber) had helped me to shift in the week before.

Oh and BTW that new shoe shop is now open in Newtown – the barefoot shoe place. It opened on Sat in that lovely rain. The shop guy is dishy too. But had the BF with me so could not even flirt.

In most ways, that count, this weekend was great. I had S1 and S2 Sagg’s for company…and they were both just lovely…then I spent the afternoon trying to tussle with an unfamilar design program at Uni…it’s basic, but my brain was making it complicated.

I slept like a log…and it’s great to have you back Mystic. That black dress looked great on TV and you were terrific.

Is that why I’ve felt so crappy?? Crept in late yesterday arvo early evening, had a shit nights sleep, horrid dreams, woke up needing one o’ them “can’t handle people” rocks that my fellow Perthian aquaphobe’s hiding under. tehe … a bummer tho when the person you can’t handle is yourself hey?! AND I spent the weekend self nurturing (sorta). Mind you I never enjoy anything being in Cancer and I AM a Cancer. Perhaps a Cancer in denial. I prefer stuff in fire and earth signs. I get off on anything being in Leo or Virgo … Scorpio’s good too for some reason that I can’t think of right now.

Missed you heaps darling Myst, as kids have school hols have had no time for lavender baths or coffee enemas etc. in fact kataka wife decided to invite about 20 different people to the house this weekend. Funny thing though was some came over and just crashed on the couch, like really crashed. Happy little kataka was busy tucking in blankies, making cammy tea and talking about the hippeastrums starting to sprout, she was right in her element. She always takes it as a compliment when people fall asleep at our house ?

both hands up! and ditto to what nat said. xx

I love Moon in Kataka (plus it’s my natal placement conjunct other good stuff). It’s in my fifth house and I had a very social weekend with kids and friends over all weekend. One of them even spent 2 hours on Sat arvo cleaning the outside of my house and all my decks for me as i hadn’t got to it after those dust storms (have huge wraparound verandahs over half the size of house so feels like we got a whole new living space again). I had been making heaps of great salads and yummy things for kids early on Sat and after the cleaning had a BBQ dinner and sat around for hours talking into the night while the children ran amuck outside and in. Sunday same – unplanned good friends dropping in and drinking tea for hours chatting. My American GF recently returned from a quick visit to US to see her mum and she bought me back CD book of the “In the House of the Riddle Mother” by Clarissa Pinkola-Estes (author of Women Who Run with the Wolves). It’s about the most common archetypal motifs in women’s dreams and it’s read by the Clarissa herself! So going to put it on iPhone and listen as I go for my walks or at the gym.

And I feel fabulous today – made cakes for tuckshop and had parent teacher interview early this morning. Somehow after all that the house is spic – yah for Moon in Cancer!

You are very intuitive today david! sshh – i may have 1 or 2 love interests in the air at the moment. Tis funny, i was so focussed on 1 that i only realised later how much 2 was into me in a kind and quiet way. 1 is too young but fascinates me – physically and mentally. They are both Sag rising – 1 Aqua and 2 a Cap – i have both their astro deets. Mr Sag/Cap (who is older for a change) and i have very compatible charts. Curiously I have found the best massage therapist and she too has Sag rising. Not sure what it means 3 Sag rising people coming into my life at the same time??

          2. Sweetpea’s avatar

I read that in my head as you whispering FF then realized, “why am I whispering in my head”?

Oh yeah, you told us to shush. “Shush” in Farsi means to go pee…

            lol

            Ew, you go girl though…

          3. Sweetpea’s avatar

Wonder what Jupiter is doing in your chart with all those Sagg folks. Also, my descendant ruled by Sagg and ex husband’s Jupiter was on my Aries Sun. Never married since….

          4. fluid feline’s avatar

Not sure Sweetpea, but can see some connections: My MC/10th is in Sag though. Jupiter is currently trans my 12th house and will cross Asc and into first early next year (yah). Also 2 of the 3 Sag risings have Neptune on Asc – Neptune and Jupiter are my chart rulers. Mr Cap’s Moon conj Uranus is conj my Sun in Leo, which is trine his Mars in Sag. My Gem/Crab Venus/NN/Vertex/Mars and Moon trines his Libra/Scorp Jupiter/Neptune/NN/ and Psyche. My Psyche conj his Venus. His Pluto conj my DC and I have Uranus/Hecate/Merc/Pluto/Dionysus and Sappho in Virgo in the 7th. And we both have Sat conj Asc.

    2. prowlncat’s avatar

feel like all of this (these last few weeks) is just one giant build up to a) jupiter direct, b) mars into Leo and c) Saturn into Lib. feel like at a massive turning point (again)

Interesting about the hauntings Savannah. On the new moon in Virgo late last month, had a spirit in my bedroom. Was quite frightening but did work on it and all feels clear now. I have staved off wine for the most part. Just not good to weaken my energies like that esp. when New Moon and Saturn were square to my Mars-Asc. Was oblivious to the astro set up.
