Saturn Uranian Time-Warp Again

clockpunk2Clockpunk

Here we go again with the Saturn-Uranus Opposition dudes. Do NOT forget that the Saturn-Uranus opposition tends to warp time. This will be MOST apparent with Pluto stationing Direct & Mercury Retrograde.

Saturn IS the god of time – his Greek name is Chronos – and Uranus is sort of quantum loop future quadri dimensional time-is-a-numerical-construct-ish.

So there is a battle between the Saturnine punctuality/deadlines consciousness and the Uranian timewarping.

Revise your scheduling systems or simplify where you can. Seriously be rad when it comes ruthless simplification. Expect weird flashes of nostalgia, power-rage surges. Keep it productive. Do the old Saturn Law:  8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of work, 8 glasses of water a day. Sort your clocks or whatever it is you keep time with.

My new Eco-Ghoul light bulbs are So giving me the shits that i am seriously wondering if my Taurus Hippy Uncle was right and we SHOULD ALL BE up with the dawn and asleep by dusk.

Totally agree with your Uncle: up just before dawn, in bed just after dark – like my lorikeet. He always seems so much cheerier than me.

My Dad has just embarked on a trip to the US. He’s already called me from two different airports citing delays, delays, techno malfunctions, more delays, etc. Haaa! I warned him about Merc Retro – but he’s a non-believer ;)

I guess now would NOT be a good time for me to send my latest draft script off to the assessors?

Oh AREN’T those new fangled eco friendly light bulbs awful to see with? The light is so ummmm white that everything seems faded. And it’s no use taking any notice of the wattage. What is 60 watts in the old globe needs at least double in the new globes to get similar illumination if not penatrable light

Thank you for reminding me to hoard the old style of lightbulbs.

    Mystic,
Just a thought re skin unfriendly lightbulbs (possibly from the same school Uncle went to): can you paint them?
Make it lead free or even those glass paints but adding a colour – particularly a flattering rosy glow or golden sheen. Would undoubtedly ease the glare, with the added bonus of flattering hues all round.
It’s that or global warming, right?

Not a good idea. Even fingerprints on the bulb reduces the light efficiency. You should only really touch the fitting end, ever.

These new globes are also meant to be dangerous with their mercury content
and bad on the eyes for migraines or visual disturbances.
The consequences will be mercury leaking thro the dump fills into the earth.
Eco friendly be damned, breakage is huge problem, suppose to not touch them with hands
& put in PLASTIC sealed bags, huh?

LED is the way to go & still in development.
I have stockpiled candescent ones & i can’t handle the whiteness of the new ones.
Painting them is such a great idea.

yeah i think it’s a smidge of mercury vapour that is the issue. that’s how we got ‘mad hatters’ too – apparently they used to use mercury to shape the hats they made….mercury poisoning!
so, sure, one bulb at a time, but how many are manufactured and discarded every year? I don’t think they did a proper cradle to grave analysis when they raved about how eco friendly they were (well, electricity wise at least)..i’m all for candles….

You can get globes that are the middle ground mystic – they’re not as saving as the ghoul but not as bad as the old school – they have halogens in them – nicer light colour = more ambient.

Strange fact – Women who work under flouro in the evening are more likely to get breast cancer – so if they’re in the kitchen or living room now what will happen? These new lights are not the answer I don’t think. Surely industry is the place to start seeing as they are the greatest polluters – along with factory farming of animals apparently that is one of the biggest users of energy in the world.

Another strange fact – apparently if everyone painted their roof white it would have some crazy effect on the temperature of the planet – something wacky like halving it an enormous number that I cannot remember. Yes anecdotal sorry. I’ve always wondered if we did it whether it would reflect light and ping it out into the universe and wobble something around… LOL childlike mind grapples with science is always amusing.

    Edison-GLS globe hoarders………shame on you!!
they burn 90+% as heat / wasted energy in return for the light hue you be sentimentally accustomed to. correct mercury disposal & wasted energy / excess bills aside, consider the transition. there are no clar answers. other than we MUST make changes. now.

OLED or organic LED maybe next in lighting development. still experimental, but OSRAM & one of the most avant garde lighting designers Inga Maurer are pushing forth the evolutions

    is it just me?

feels like life standing still even watching sun set / rise daily, the days slide by rather uneventfully. surprisingly its not a bad thing. just wierd for one accustomed to activating several game plans & having much on!
a little bit GroundHog Day / Week / Month / Year – sans doom of course.
time moving both slowly & quickly as days morph into early summer.

the big calm. calm beforre the big change – or something.
in the past would be in melt-down-mode or causing some calamity. or running back to one ex or other.
not now – patiently biding time.
calmly…….resting. relaxing. processing past 14 years with no real revalations, other than obvious ones overdue action. now ready to be sparked by ‘AHA’ moments tho. almost time for creative juices to spark – bring on the next big adventure.

anyone else feel like life’s in a ‘holding pattern’?

Oh the penny has dropped, doh, this post is written on the 09/09/09!
Didn’t realise it was supposed to be One-of-THOSE-Days, when something incredibly cosmic
    was supposed to happen!
Going back to Wednesday 9th after having only 2 students in 2 weeks, 4 peeps wanted the
same time that day, for 2-3pm!
One i had not heard from in a year, said although i can’t see you, i want to thank you.
    Whatta uplift!

At this rate tho’ am thinking change of career. Libra Moon Hearts Arts.
Rockstar, have empathy for your state of being at mo as it resonated with me.
Oh, the 9th was first day of Mayan Calendar, the Tzolkin Cycle, so maybe that’s how it became
    a ’significant’ date.

Off to the beach for w/e & the ozonic air that revives & re-energises me. Taking my watercolours
    & brushes.
Saw this funny card of a photo of 50’s man & woman in a kissing embrace…..she says:’ Darling,
would you stop doing that in & out thing you do’.
    He says ‘What? Breathing?’
She says ‘Yes, that’s it’………….:):) nope still haven’t applied the colour emotie faces.
(Can’t daydream & apply myself as well).
Moon’s in Gemini good for jumping in & out of projects & playing ‘now you see me now you don’t’.
Or is that Sagg. Anyways i’m off to drink bubbles avec besties a la plage, sur la mer.
Ciao friends unless i can work out the wireless connection i have for travel, have a delish weekend
spoil yourselves with something extravagant, buy a new Lipstick, have a spa, light candles &
