Having Saturn transitting one’s Venus is like being stalked by a scary life coach. If your Venus is between 18 and 26 degrees of a Mutable sign, you’re having a Saturn-Venus transit. Or 18 to 26 of anything but especially the Mutable. It’s very similar if Saturn is aspecting your Ascendent or Descendent. Or transitting (I so nearly typed transhitting) your 5th or 7th House.
So my Venus – this is just to illustrate- is at 22 Pisces and trine Neptune in Scorpio. Venus in Pisces peeps are already prone to romanticise – having it trine Neptune is just the icing. So the other day I’m walking out of the gym and my mind meanders to the stupid Uranian & his devastating combo of black hair/blue eyes & how charming he can be when not off his face. Venus-Neptune v.quickly took me to a point where I was thinking how my Saturn his on his North Node and that maybe it is my destiny to sort his life out or something like that.
Suddenly I swear I practically heard the voice of Saturn; ‘get a fuqing grip, don’t date men who are beneath you.’ Now Venus in Pisces is about universal compassion and she certainly doesn’t think people are beneath you. But Saturn is all about setting standards and having the self-control to stick to them. Venus in Pisces never lets go of an ex. She drops them – yes- and usually for someone else but then Venus in Pisces doubles-back & re-idealizes the Ex, just for kicks. It gets Venus in Pisces peeps (Venus-Neptune is similar) a bad reputation but they don’t mean to be manipulative.
Venus in Pisces/12th House/aspecting Neptune has another core competency – apart from compassion and forgiveness; the ability to imbue anyone she considers hot with enormous spiritual qualities & a sense of fate being at play. This is apt for men with the Venus set up as well – i say she as we are talking about Venus here. Men with Venus in Pisces/12th house/aspecting Neptune are usually v.aware of the Madonna-Ho complex. They live there, lol.
So if you’ve got Saturn on your case – right now the Taskmaster is at 20 degrees of Virgo – remember that he is just doing his job & that the sooner you set up some boundaries and enforce them + work about ten times harder than would seem appropriate, the Saturnine stress dissipates & cop the rewards: Health, Wealth & Wisdom.

TranSHIT would be the go with Saturn. First up Saturn transhits my Leo sun – marriage split; bf betrayal etc which i find out about as Sat moves into Virgo in the 7th house and proceeds to transhit all over my natal Uranus/Merc/Pluto in Virgo and opposes my natal Saturn on my Asc. At the same time as trans Uranus in Pisces opposes all the 7th house stuff including the trans Uranus/Saturn opp! Now Sat has just opposed my Vesta/Chiron conj in Pisces and will soon square my natal Venus at 29 Gem which is being opposed by Pluto. Cautiously looking forward to Saturn moving into Libra in my 8th (empty house) – tho don’t know what this will mean – have to remember the “be careful what you wish for” adage, but surely it can’t be worse than the past few years?
Oh lovely Sat in Libra will square all my stuff in Cancer in the 5th house at which time Pluto will be opposing the Cancer stuff too. Give me a break – this is a pain the neck – literally.

I swear I’m doing workouts at least 5 times a week, eating wholefoods only, fessing up to all my shortcomings & trying to sort through it all, no judgement. Being mature, learning to be serious about life (yes, a gem can learn that!)

Saturn over Venus doesn’t have to be bad. Had mine last year and the first two passes manifested with me losing patience with my mother, who’d turned rather tetchy and critical. Her Virgo sun is conjunct my Virgo Venus, so she was doing Saturn Sun simultaneous with my Saturn Venus. So I had to learn to manage that better.
Was warned that the last pass could also manifest as a critical woman, BUT I scheduled some creative mentoring with some true pros (saturn), made some real headway on a Venusian project and befriended a couple of amazing, creative women. Saturn can be good and forewarned is forearmed.

How odd, that so sounds like me but my Venus is in Capricorn. The only thing I have in Pisces is my Moon.

I did find an old work note book over the weekend as I unpacked boxes from the last 3 years of moving in and out of share houses – in it I had written a list of what I want in my living domicile – and I tell you what, I’ve darn well achieved that now. Gawd Mystic you just played Saturn for me right between the eyes. I cringed reading the Venus in Pisces thing, the girl stuff is relevant to the boys too and vice versa I reckon, but would that make it a Jesus/whore reality?
I always thought Venus in Pisces was supposed to be light and fluffy in pastel hues – ouch!

mmmm – well there ain’t no men in my life at the mo, beneath me or otherwise – probably because I’ve been setting boundaries about what I expect to be reasonable behaviour from male adults.. but, this has not been without me feeling very lonely, unlovely and tetchy! I also drew the line last week in my massage cert course when I was told that massaging male friends was inadmissable for assessment – er excuse me!? Two weeks before the end of the course – could’ve told me sooner – and where’s the policy!!! Have rung the OWNER of the College and submitted a formal complaint. Yes, its time to draw the line!!!! !

My Venus in Aquarius in 12th house but My Saturn is in Virgo Desc 20 degree but I dont think I have to worry about it despite yesterday, me blurting out the fact that i was in love with my best friend but realistically, i was more afraid of losing him out of my life rather in love with him.

my sympathies to all having a Saturn Venus transit… cub has his Saturn on my Venus so having him around is like a permanent Saturn-Venus transit (ha. I always think ‘he sat on my venus’)… Saturn is transiting my Pluto and THAT is bad enough…
today was good though, I’m liking this Mars-Jup aspect very much…my hairdresser, a Gemini Male , took one look at me today and sat me straight down for a pep talk… ” as a gentleman, let me tell you that you are SO beautiful, you deserve SO much better than this and its time to ALIGN yourself with the POWER people now, let me introduce you…” etc. (he also really likes my drawings on my website) I also ran into a friend who asked for my resume for some part time work and my sister asked for my help picking out new outfits (new love in her life) and while she was spending up big bought me a pair of new shoes and gorgeous cashmere bat-wing sweater. Bliss.

pps. while shopping like crazy women I noticed with some amazement that my younger sister is amazing.. astro-weather to explain this?? She was taking calls on her Iphone and negotiating with her agent – yes her AGENT- for better contracts etc and just blowing my mind with the idea that a woman can be the one calling the shots. Made me realise that for so long I’ve been a beggar surrounded by orphans.

What is she a Gem per chance TA, fabulolus multitaskers or a Virgo? Of course she’d take you shopping for advice – Taureans have the best taste – I have a darling Toro sis (who’s married to another gorgeous Toro) – and I always get their advice on big purchases, espesh when aesthetics invlved. Plus note today Moon in Taurus – great days for clothes shopping and beautification all round I’ve found. I’m envious of the cashmere batwing sweater. The only cashmere i own is a gorgeous scarf bought of course by my darling Toros on one of their OS trips (US i think). But the weakness for Neptunian Substances & batso behaviour because of such rendered him beneath. Yes me too having Saturn Opposite Venus, not exact yet. Been feeling the effects, oh yes I have… but then again I’m having zillions of huge transits going on at the mo… There’s goodness and there’s not so good. Just keep moving forwards I do. And with Pluto Transit to Ascendant there is so much death around me… literally and figuratively.
