Yo, Find-My-Goddess dude, all is forgiven! Okay, Ryan O’Neal seems like an abject prick. Having a background in journalism, i tend not to judge peeps being slagged off in the media, as i know how easily they can be stitched up, taken out of context etc. But the Daily Mail’s “I Chatted Up My Own Daughter At Farrah Fawcett’s Funeral” article on Ryan O’Neal is SOMETHING ELSE.
It is short & basically a pithy little summary of the Vanity Fair piece out soon but YICK.
So, okay, I whip up his chart and go looking for astrological prick indicators (A.P.I.) and voila – the classic afflicted Mars. Ladies and male gays, take note. The “afflicted” Mars is the classic astro-omen of trouble when you are looking at men. Not all men with a trickily aspected Mars are difficult pricks with drugs or violence issues but plenty are. PLEASE don’t e-mail me to defend your precious snookums who has never laid a hand on you excepting for tantric sex at which he excels and he always puts the rubbish out sans complaint. I am just saying that in SOME cases, a man with Mars square his Saturn, Uranus, Pluto or Neptune can be a piece of work.
Ryan O’Neal is a multiple conjunct Taurus. He has Sun Venus at Zero degrees Taurus so there is sex appeal, beauty and charm for sure, prob v.strong before dissipated. And so Sun, Venus, Lilith, Part of Fortune, Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus ALL In Taurus and all in the 11th house. Which gives him a strong Aqua-Uranian flavour. So he is a multiple conjunct Taurus + it’s squaring his Mars and Moon in Aquarius…So he’s a Fixed Square in motion. Could be a saint, of course, but also immense frustration & could alternate between cloying neediness/control freakery and Aqua spaciness/don’t fence-me-in OR ELSE. Just to add to the fixed square theme, he’s got squares from Pluto in Leo as well.
And he’s got Neptune all over his Aqua-Moon this year & next so now what? MORE Neptunian substances??? He could claim to be in touch with Farrah Fawcett from the Other Side and try to set up a church. Neptune-Moon can be super-spiritual and awakening but given the Daily Mail story above, I am not confident of this guy’s form. Seriously read it!
And, given the massive conflict between Taurus & Aquarius in this guys chart, what could have done (or do!) to create a better expression of it??? He’s Cancerian Rising so parenthood could have been his salvation. But, well, hitting on your daughter at your lovers funeral AND introducing another child to drugs – allegedly – would be an odd form of it, no? Poor Farrah.

I have Mars sq Pluto, and never really thought of it as being afflicted as they are joint rulers of Scorp (so have an affinity?)… but as CUB has his pluto and mars in exactly the same set up as mine (i.e. Pluto 22 Virgo, Mars 16 Sag) maybe we were like a double whammy mars-affliction when together?? His Mars is trine his Saturn though (cj MY venus) so maybe that prevents him from being a total prick… although I would never let him hang with my kids without me for many reasons.

I know, I know … I blathered on and on and ON about the Double Bullshit Artist a few months back, so won’t go over THAT old turf again, but as you rightly pointed out in a thread on Ze Bullz yonks ago Mystic, Taurus is like a big ol’ cruise liner, so utterly stubborn that it’s very difficult for them to change course once they’ve set off in a certain direction. So if they’re fuqed in the head, they’re Really Fuqed-In-The-Head. If they’re off course, they’re so totally heading for Hades.
Poor luvs. I really adore Taureans so it’s very hard to watch them slowly but surely head straight for eternal damnation. They don’t do nuffin by halves do they? Tho’ of course if they’re a well balanced Bull they’re just Gorgeous.

The radio station management needs to take responsibility for that whole mess. It should never have gone to air, and was shabbily conceived in the first place. The mother is a worry!

Yeah, I’d say Mars/Saturn in women tends to mean that you are attracted to angry assholes. I’d say to REALLY watch who you date and have your friends check out your man and give approval or not before you marry.
(Afflicted Venus, in my experience since I have it, more tends to mean that you feel like the asshole all the time. I don’t date assholes. Also, I am pretty unfeminine in demeanor even though I dress girly.)
I have a lovely friend who grew up in a happy home with happy parents. She is married to an Aquastell (http://silverwheelastrology.blogspot.com/2007/02/eddie-izzard-and-aquastells.html) who is bipolar and changes on a DIME into Prick Mode. I cannot figure out why the hell she’d go for this, because she didn’t grow up with it, except for the astrology because she has Mars and Saturn conjunct. Of course he gets his joy in life from harassing and ragging on her (note to girls who love Eddie Izzard: you wouldn’t wanna date him) and she puts up with it, and I wish she’d just LEAVE already.
Farrah, as I recall, also has Mars Saturn, so she must have been used to guys being pricks.

One of those guys had a venus/saturn square – I remember another astrologer telling me that would mean he would have a tendency to blame the women in his life for things – and boy was that true.
Interesting what attracts us to people – I remember reading some research yrs ago about how they did experiments and women who took the pill were more likely to be attracted to aggressive, bad boy types and then when they weren’t on the pill they were more attracted to calmer men who made good dads.

What about conjunctions with Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune to Mars?
Experienced a Virgo Mars conjunct Uranus & Pluto, this guy would most probably chat up his own daughter as well… not knowing he had a daughter at all, of course. Interestingly he also displays the Toro-Aqua axis with his Taurus rising square Aqua Venus. puhhh… Fixed to the Max, felt like being in a relationship with Mussolini. I have just recently been informed that he actually had SEVERAL extra-girlfriends throughout our entire relationship (I left him last December)… Of course during our relationship he was a jealous monster when I even dared to talk to other men in whatever context… His Sun conjunct Saturn/Mercury in early Pisces btw.

nebulous virgo: what are your orbs? If you are doing whole sign, the effect is inherently mild. If within 3 degrees, they are strong.Mars with Uranus in hard aspect (square, conjunction, opposition, even quincunx) indicates unfaithfulness in MEN. For a woman, it would be Venus.
But Mars and Uranus together indicate restlessness and temper. Also, curiously clipped speech. It’s not a good pairing even with the softer aspects (trine) but marks you out from the crowd.
Ryan O’Neal had a parallel (contraparallel) pairing of Mars and Uranus in declinations, and was unfaithful and hot headed.

My Mars sq. Neputne guy’s Mars was opp. my Moon so synastry wise think that says alot. Only aspect my Mars makes besides on my Asc., is inconjunction to Moon in 8th….Until one finally gets mad, does tend to take alot and give benefit of the doubt to those who don’t actually deserve it. His Mars and Uranus are in parallel (contraparallel, technically….but the same influence, which is like a conjunction).
This indicates:
- temper problems….Mars and Uranus don’t sit well together, especially a conjunction or negative (square/semi-square, opposition) aspect. It makes him high-strung, individualistic, and hard to pin down. Also may make him explosive.
- infidelity in a male (Mars is the sex planet for a man, and Uranus is sudden change and inability to be shackled). The effect would be much better and moderate if there was a trine or sextile aspect (Paul McCartney comes to mind…)
His first name is “Charles” – the numerological influence of 22 in Chaldean numerology, and this indicates some tendency for unfaithfulness. See Prince Charles for comparison.
