I don’t go the fiction – my imagination is off the hook and other people’s bore me – but sometimes there’s a book that does it for me and I suspect this is one fo them – rosette etc. here I come.

Mystic, Janette, Kim & davidl, thank you all for responding. I have very profound reservations about the ‘law of attraction’. I don’t accept it as a a belief system until it encompasses the moral and ethical problems and challenges of being human. However, Kym, I do appreciate that you are using some of your creative skills to explore how this could happen – and maybe some time down the track you could change my mind. Best of luck with the book sales.

Sorry Janette, what do you mean by that ? the concept is quite sick really, a good excuse for happy little westerners to not feel bad about the horrors committed against innocent people in poorer countries (often by westerners) or in countries ruled by violence, starvation and murder. The examples you gave also are meaningless ? Very few souls manifest to experience horror, murder and evil. My wifes family over 100 of them , murdered by the nazis…the idea that they chose that is appalling, their lives were stolen. It was a time that evil reigned and it took real action to stop it, not flimsy pop psychology. Statements like the one above do nothing to help anyone except those seeking some type of emotional anaesthesia.

Its not ‘all good’ Janette, just open your eyes to the truth ( if you would like to see the truth) it is out there.
I do apologise Kim, but couldn’t let that statement pass.

These are all important questions and ideas. Hazel, you’re right. It works for me and I do explore how it can work in a world of oppression, failing technology and environmental decline (the future Earth in my series).

The very real here and now considerations are every bit as relevant both philosophically and practically. Janette, your examples of Mandela and Ghandi take a perspective over time. What does it mean, 50, 100, 1000 years from now in terms of our spiritual growth…
