My daughter Stella's 3 kindy chooks got done by the Fox last weekend ; they were housed at my folks across the way and well... spent the last few days armourguarding an idle chook tractor and tracked down a breeder of these stunning lavender araucanas. A South american fowl that lay blue eggs. Turned out one of 3 local breedersin the state lives down the road and I was meant to go 'chooking' with Stella at 4 yesterday to collect 2 hens. Of Course we were an hour late and ended up taking pity on a tailless ROOSTER who had been picked on... I'd love to know why I was so late?? The Chinese have got such a swing on things in such a Goethean way I reckon. So it goes. well I’ll be….
