Fantastique! If I had not whizzed to Wikipedia to check Pepe Le Pew’s birth details (for a cartoon character, it is always their first appearance in media & it’s sooo accurate) I would not have known that Johnny Depp drew upon the French skunk for his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. Hmm.
Anyway, Pepe is known for falling inappropriately (ie; inter-species) in love and making grand gestures that are utterly at odds with the actual reality of the “relationship” in play. I mean, he is a Skunk. But he sees himself as a grand seducer in the classic tradition.
The astro, of course, fits. Get this. He is a Capricorn (ambitious, aspires to the high life and trophy partner) and his Moon is in Libra with Venus in Pisces. So the latter two means he is a natural romantic as well. It’s not just cynical chasing down of a “catch.” Venus in Pisces sextiles Mars in Capricorn so there’s a libido throbbing away there as well BUT the aspects I love of Pepe Le Pew’s are:
* Venus in Pisces Squares Uranus in Gemini – He’s a bit perverse & kinky. He is maybe not so mistaken after all when he goes after cats instead of skunks, his own species.
* Mercury in Saggitarius squares Jupiter in Virgo – This is such a good expression of those grandiose gestures & insane serenades he indulges in. His need for candour is hyped by O.T.T. Jupiter & the Virgoan discrimination is swamped by an overblown Mercury in Sagg.
* Moon conjunct Neptune – the perpetual dreamer. He may have extremely lucid & sensual dreams that break into his everyday reality.
He needs a very creatively fulfilling and involved job so that the fantasy element of his life can be worked out positively rather than by stalking uninterested cats and attempting to hide his true nature with copious amounts of scent.

Yay! I’m a big fan! The story lines and dialogue are genius and his mangled French with a Bronx accent is so cool. I guess the mercury in Sagg explains his high self esteem and why he never never shuts up.
I watched the Pepe goes to the Louvre episode on YouTube, and just love how Loony Tunes references high art. I’ll say it again, Genius!

Also one of my favourites, he is sooo Libra in my books. I think he was created with Maurice Chevalier in mind? His incredible self confidence and self love seemingly without ego was amazing. The way he would never give up on love even when it was purely in his own mind, hilarious.

I would’ve never guessed him for a Cap but it makes sense. Especially how terrified he is when Penelope (the cat) actually returns the affection in some episodes and starts to chase him. Makes total sense.

hmm, be one of those sultry but impeccably groomed types? be understated. leave a book by a recognised/interseting author casually on the cafe table/desk/wherever he wanders past. (tolstoy or kashuo iziguro or ..something by warren buffett. or about Art something) or do caps go for their opposite – cancer? in which case you’d need to be sooo understanding and nod empathetically at his story, but also be cardinal – start stuff (like the cap), talk about a new way you have started to make money.

lol, at least 2 of my b/f’s have been caps, plus other great mates….i think I relate to caps on the food/raunch/sideways humour/need for quality continuum.
You’d be surprised how much I come across as a straight / square in person. I’m a tad saturnian possibly. Some people freak out when they see my other side(s)

Nope I can assure you Caps don’t always go for Cancers or vice versa. It’s hardly the seething attraction of Scorp/Taurus … you know the irresistible force meets the immovable object. How would those two get along in bed?? Cripes, one wonders if they would ever manage to leave …. death by shagging … hmmm now that’s something worth dying for …
but I digress … One Cap bloke went for me but he had a Crab moon so that doesn’t count. It was all a bit lukewarm really. There is something of the spiv about Cap men … you know you can always imagine them with a pencil moustache and hair oil smoking cigars no matter how well groomed they are. Their heads are always bigger than the rest of them too which I find greatly disturbing. Just like Pepe!

give me a break! If you want to impress a Cap, be natural, we can see through an act or bullshit from 100 paces and we’re not all about fuqing money and prestige. If you start blowing your own trumpet, we’re out of there. Try talking about current affairs but make sure you have some real knowledge about what you’re talking about.

Gently is the word poppykettle. I scared one away with too much Leo OTT energy. They are straight on outside but are bursting to be weird on the inside so appeal to that but in a very subtle way. He was very family and honour driven too but a great sense of humour and rhythm if you know what I mean.
