Eclipse Eve

You know, no doubt, of the “dark horse” cliche – this is more of a Dark Unicorn moment.

Seriously! Totally! I mean as in that one can attain a Unicorny degree of blameless clarity or even innocence/a fresh start feeling but it comes with a darker edge of self-knowing.

The Full Moon Eclipse in Capricorn is about neo-pragmatism – a feeling of foreboding that lifts the nano you face up to one icky fact or another and start to make cohesive plans. It’s like Saturn. Yes? So not a good time to float about being gaga & lazy or unrealistic. It’s all Earth-Earth-Earth so be grounded.

Yes, you have to work a BIT harder at firing  up the old self-belief as there is a paucity of Fire Sign action in the skies right now; you generate the heat from secret stores of Qi? But, as if to compensate, remember that Mars IS going to spend nearly NINE MONTHS in Leo from October…And some of that will include Uranus in Aries.

What will Uranus in Aries be like? I reckon it will be cool. This dude was born with Uranus in Aries & his generation produced some fantastic inventive peeps.

I did an extended rave re the Mars going Ape component of this Eclipse in Daily Mystic & the Scopes but in short; stay pragmatic & evolving even as some super-sensitive areas are tweaked. Sensational psych dreaming.

There was a dark side to Edison, his greatest competition Nicola Tesla, worked out how to distribute free electricity via coils that collected energy from the atmosphere. He was run down and killed very conveniently, Edison and his cronies were implied, and his works were classified as secret by the US Govt. Edison’s power grid with poles wires etc made sure that the big boys made the big bucks and we still live with that dynamic. His company Westinghouse went on to be one of the most powerful, profitable, corrupt conglomerates in the world and still exists in all sorts of industries…a genius, well lets say a very determined, ruthless entrepreneur, who knew how to turn his ideas into commercial success.

If it wasn’t for my lovely Serbian colleague, I would never have heard of Tesla. One day when I catch up on my reading list, I’m going to learn more about him. Thanks for reminding me.

i had heard about his name when at uni in physics class but had forgotten about it until random purchase of ‘new dawn’ (australian mag by non-major publisher therefore gets to write about all the cool stuff) where his name is mentioned A LOT. will look into it more, am learning some v interesting things lately in my conspiracy-busting mode!

PS isnt the electricity generated because if you put a conductor in a magnetic field, an electric current is generated (and same way but opposite, an electric current generates a magnetic field e.g. like those big blackouts in the movie Oceans 11, caused using electromagnetic pulse fr the superconductor thing) hey i did learn something back then. anyway bla bed time

Hooray! My own Aqua Girl was named for Edison’s nemesis! She was the only baby in the petroleum co. dominated town we lived in (loads of chemical/electrical/petro engineers) who could, at the mention of her name, make men coo.

Thanks David. And looking forward to the write up, MM. Was thinking about this topic already.

Flying and swimming dreams! Fab dreams last night of flying over some beautiful aquarium gardens beside a rugby field where people were flying kites and balloons over a rugby game.

Then I was swimming like a dolphin with dolphins in the aquarium with a rather hot Scorp I know wrapped around me. It felt nice. Damn that Scorp. I have Mars Nep conjunct in Scorp so have a strong, weird, fateful, impossible attraction to him. Not the first time I’ve dreamed of him either. Don’t know his chart, am avoiding him. He has strong Mars Nep signature I know because of his character & occupation, and he is an intense, hyperactive, charismatic, married handful. Did I mention he’s impossibly gorgeous.

The dreams are too good. Gah, Eclipses!

Dear Uber, your dream sounds lovely – especially flying over beautiful water gardens & swimming with dolphins. The hyperactive, intense, married handful sounds like Trrrrouble. Maybe involving yourself with him (beyond wild & wonderful dreams) is analogous to actually eating all the lovely things in the lolly shop window – it seems like such a good idea whilst its in your head but the moment it is brought into reality it brings unimagined problems…

You seem to know a lot about the games people play. I hope he isn’t playing one with you at your expense. Sorry if I sound like Uber Straight and No Fun At All here… but you are a good one UV. I’d hate to see you hurt by someone who has not addressed their responsibilities first.

nat, you’re such a sweetie. He’s not playing any games. It’s all going on in my head, which can be as bad as reality, and I doubt he has any inkling of my wild imagination. The attraction is one sided and I recognize him as a weakness I have for Mars Neptune charismatic types, with whom I’ve come a cropper before.

I’m trying to look at the symbolism of the dream, which is rather wonderful. A real life relationship with him is not even faintly workable.

The dream I think symbolizes a kind of understanding I’ve reached within myself, but there’s always that temptation to take a tasty dream like that literally then turn it into fantasy. Yes, trrrrouble.

Uber you are so wise & insightful! Attraction is a strange thing isn’t it. I like how Mystic puts it above – that clarity with a darker edge of self-knowing. Its a good feeling but not in a ya ya, woo hoo kind of way. Thankfully we have imaginations!

A very nice man visited me in my dreams this morning. I’ve never met or seen him before but he was so nice to me – held my hand and invited me to go to London with him. I love hand holding in dreams… aaahh so easily pleased! He then said his place has a separate cottage where my parents are welcome to stay when they visit. It was an odd thing to say in a romantic context but I think he was saying he accepted me with whomever my parents are – not despite them or begrudgingly tolerating them, if you know what I mean. It gave me a feeling of relief.

The Full Moon eclipse vibe was so heavy here yesterday. An awfully sad thing happened at work for one of my work mates. Too sad to post here. Neo-pragmatism it is. Must go for a walk.

Oh, only one day til the Eclipse. Have channeled my fear of what may happen (Capricorn Sun at 15 degrees) to me tomorrow by flexing an 8 day intensive meditation regime (concluded this morn) and a ruthless culling of crap – physical, emotional and human kinds. Somewhat emo-draining process, but in truth, I’m feeling quite pumped and ready for some radical life makeover… So… Fears aside… Now eager for something monumental and thinking ‘this Eclipse better not disappoint!!’

So could a Sagg in Mercury mean strong self-esteem?
Have also been dreaming of Lovers but ex ones, a warm loving feeling

Him in the shower whilst she reads a book on the bed. Matching bedlamps. Freak out.

I know this sounds crazy, but I was gazing at the full moon the night of July 7th — the eve of the funeral of Michael Jackson and I believe I saw his image from shoulders up. definitely two dark, crisp eyes peering out onto the earth at the top center of the moon with a cascade of hair framing his face. It was after 1:30 am. and I know I should have been in been–was exhausted from crying daily from the sadness of this tragic loss of life.
Can anyone corraborate my vision, or am I just a lovesick fan who needs to chill. This man’s death has moved me in a spiritual way — my heart -Chakra has been pounding and aching for days and I have a renewed sense of emotions which are in need of looking into. I believe Michael has been a spiritual guide to me and not doubt, countless others. Funny thing is I’d gotten busy and forgotten about him for years until I heard of his death. Now I’m rediscovering his genius with new eyes and ears and catching up on all I missed and realize what an amazingly loving and spiritual man he was….even with his drug problems. I truly believe his life and now death will move our universe even closer to enlightenment because of the powerful healing attributes he possesses. May he rest in peace when he finally leaves our earthly place for good. Some believe he is still with us, I tend to feel he has passed on. Thanks for entertaining my meanderings here. I’m not a
