Mars-Venusian Weekend

lstone_08dec_wmag

Have a FUN Mars-Venusian style kinda weekend, what with the conjunction enlivening the Dark Moon in Taurus & all….

I am popping up the road to see a Moon-in-Scorpio Rising client of mine, Abbe May,  perform. This clip below is Eclipse themed, given that the Solar Eclipse on July 22 (the longest and most intense in yonks) is bang on her Cancerian Sun. Again, 29 degrees of Cancer/Kataka is the bit of your chart to be looking at with a major fresh start in mind…Plan to revolutionise there…

It’s a grappling hook, for when the bat dude is locked out of wonder woman’s high rise apartment, he can haul himself over the balcony. However, he does keep it dangerously close to his tackle.

Drat. We needed Abbe’s expert opinion for the quandary about hairy fashion. But I think we came to the conclusion it was some sort of GFC inspired yearning for our pagan roots.

First, it threatened to pour rain all day but held off.
All the vegetation is lush and green. Everyone is out as it is the first weekend of really great weather.

I went to a party and saw many old friends and listened to some great live music (in perfect wood paneled basement with twinkling lights and friendly people where a handful of bands played and everyone joked and talked and drank beer).

Left a bit too early, but ran into the scene of a massive house fire. Too crazy to describe.

Maybe the most remarkable thing about it was truly feeling in the moment and calm and observant and amazed by everything.

Dream Home?………………Decided not to move last weekend.
It was going to be a money drain. Feng Shui wise cannot give up 12 foot ‘almond icing cake’
ceilings & old polished wood floors for 8 foot ceilings…..sqaaaashed……….and synthetic floors
The once beautiful lush garden has been stripped by the moving tenant.
It screams the opposite to Abundance……Scarcity.
The pale blue doors & yellow kitchen cupboards cannot be painted over as they are
    shiny synthetic melamine or such.
A few thousands $$$’s BEFORE hand is stoopid as that pays for 3 months in the Islands or
    India, says the Saggo personified!
Natural flooring is a necessity in bodywork, for me an imperative. 8 foot ceilings are against God/ess,
nature then, unnatural & gives fuck-ed lighting effects.
Happiness & Strength from that decision of staying & workin’ on ma Karma, now i’m out of the coma.

Shall force my demented neighbour to be courteous or polite on the pain of death.

wow Pegasus ~! good on you for sticking with your home and your needs…

your dilemma reminds me of an affirmation from Florence Scovel Schinn (the original law of attraction expert, who wrote about it in the 20’s) “I practice non-resistance and obsacles fall away of their own weight” – that is to say, when we get into a place of peace with the way things are, problems disappear, doors open, miracles happen. Thus, in this way of thinking, the fastest way to get that demented neighbour to treat you right is to get with how good it is that he is the way he is – a challenge I know. If you can write it all out – how his behaviour has benefited you – then it may become clearer and you may find yourself at ease about him.

otherwise – ::::passing wonderwoman wrist bands::::: go Wild Woman – let us know how it goes! :D

argh, has anyone else had a disappointing weekend?? perhaps i got myself all worked up over the mars-venus thang, but had a night tonight the complete opposite to what i expected (it was like living in Opposite Land). no connection, no sparkling conversation, no passion. alot of narking, arguing, disconnect- and no, not from me! (though i then got disgruntled with the mood). i was so discouraged by end of the night, thinking ‘hey. what happened!?’ *sigh* i went into it totally buzzing with anticipation. maybe that was my prob. :(

Yes me too saggigal  Won’t bore you too much with the deets, briefly – full on weekend with kids stuff, many activities, plans changing last minute, larger than life tanties from the Leo child, Aqua child not helping with her friends here all weekend. Wasn’t expecting any gorgeous mars/venus thang per se as knew I had kids but desperately want to clean house and declutter BUT kids rule. Today going to son’s school fair, daughter bringing friends AND yes it’s raining and still going ahead. Mud, glorious mud. Monday can’t come fast enough for me – still time to declutter and clean :-l

But I should mention Friday. Had some Japanese acupunture with burning mugwort (moxibustion) – lovely! (recommended by Mystic’s acupuncturist, Melinda) Then went to sort my phone out which had frozen. Sorted phone right away then happened into DJs and found 2 classic pieces of clothing half price that are fabulous. So there is my Toro venus mars thing :-) ever the optimist.

I love Mystic’s saying of “pull up the drawbridge”. That is what I decided to do today & feel much better for it (even tho’ it is pooring rain AGAIN here – > 20 inches in the past 4 weeks, sheesh). I can’t do any of the jobs I wanted to do today as all require sun. Plan B: have fun indoors! viz., fire up the wood stove, burn candles, clove oil doors & window sills, fill the house with cooking smells, celebrate the Winter Solstice and welcome longer daylight hours. Hooray for the Sun.

Well Friday was insane, although Friday night was lovely. Had a little expanded family dinner out at a Spanish place. Quick visit with friends and then since I arrived home about midnight, Friday night it’s been sort of mellow. Rain is thumping down, again. I’ve got sufficient firewood, food and beverages. Spazzy A is visiting for a bit of a R&R before the house/apartment search continues again next week.

Strangely unwanted attraction seems to have abated from a quiet simmer to meh…which is good…funnily enough he sort of looks different to me, and felt a definite disconnect yesterday. Sort of freeing though.

not much mars-venus action happening here, damn it… unless I count Agro Virgo’s unwanted text messages (am SO not into him) and CUB’s charming presence all weekend (but that is more about him being in love with his little dung bug). Actually friday nite was strange as after the solstice celebrations at my daughters’ school DLE came back to my place where CUB was spending some Q-time with the dung bug and we all shared a meal. Me and the Dads and all the kids. ha. A very odd moment when I automatically put chopsticks in front of DLE. Not unpleasant, but the contrast between DLE (super cool architect dude) and CUB (diamond in the rough) was startling.

ah well, life is good with or without Mars-Venus romance…

Don’t want ta do an “out do ya” but today is my Venus Return (6/20 Cali. time) right smack dab on the Ven-Mar conjunct and I’ve been sick. Only date was with the drug store at midnight last night as needed meds. Am feeling better today though. Tomorrow better I’m sure. Will need to call in the cleaning ladies this coming week after all as just not up to it and overdue…

Good thing Veni Return good for one year, though don’t care if it’s about romance per say….K-Sir-ah-Sir-ah….(sorry, didn’t know how to spelll…had to sound it out…lol)

TA, what does DLE stand for? Got the CUB one straight. You know things have evolved when all the ex’s sit down to sup. And Dung Bug just sounds so prec…That baby on the half shell pix reminds me of my granddaughter when she was born as there she lain on her side after she popped out…

Waiting on Pizza delivery…Can’t be too sick, eh? Said how can I be nauseous and still have an appetite..Another universal mystery, eh nat? lol…In waking moments, mostly been watching the Iranian coverage on the tv as hoping they over turn the regime…

Oh, and did step outside to the trash bin this a.m..a Lizard stopped and took a poo right on the sidewalk in front of me. Surely that’s a good cleansing sign, no?

Everyone was happy to see me (exclaimed ‘YOU CAME’) when they clapped eyes on me. DJ-ing went better than expected… didn’t clear the dancefloor, but MADE it. Got complete stranger clapping me on the back saying ‘that was awesome!’. One person even high-fived me.

    Retake.

In reference to above bitch re weekend of endless child chores, have to say had an amazing day in the most unexpected way. School fair was drenched (what were they thinking in going ahead), it was so ridiculous people were in hysterics, kids saturated, rides shut down but on with the fairy floss, snow cones and beer. I was making snow cones with long lost Gemini gf for over an hour next to fairy floss machine – so dripping wet from rain angling in, hair frizzing – who cared, not I – sugar coated on one side from ff machine but having the best time. I had kinda wiped the Gem as she is a close friend of my ex-bestie’s (in the middle of my marriage breakdown) close gf – (both of whom are ex-Wallaby wives) – complicated I know. I had forgotten how much FUN she was and now I learn she is this Milliner star with her work getting attention in the media!! Doesn’t surprise me as she is the most stylish person I know. Can dress you in a minute, cheap or label but it’s her confidence that shines. Lesson: don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. But I love that she will only work on her pieces to her satisfaction, i.e. won’t take instructions as doesn’t want to sell herself out – true art form.

Had some great convos with other ppl I haven’t conversed with since THE breakup. I think with all the kids stuff I had to go to and did – Fri Assembly – son performing, rugby training canteen (many families already away so had to be there), rugby game (which I go to regularly now) and school fair – I have had a year of hugs and kisses etc, “so good to see you”s in one weekend, all very UP stuff.

After leaving the fair, brought kids home and daughter and her friends raided my wardrobe (shamefully, it’s a room – I really am disgusted with how many clothes I have collected from size 8 – 16). Anyway was both shocked and heartened by the fact that these three slim 11 year olds were wearing dresses and shoes that I fitted into 2 years ago, albeit slightly loosely. And, back then I thought then that I was fat. Body dysmorphic syndrome or what, I blame my Aqua personal trainer who when I had a body fat percentage of 18% for years kept telling me to watch my diet!!! Can you believe I stayed with him for 9 effing years? These girls in 3 years will tower over me and 2 of them are my shoe size already. Scary how tall my kids generation are getting, and I’m not particularly short for my gen, 6 ft 4″.

This morning had hour and half convo with Toro sis (who I may have convinced to subscribe – she does love Mystic’s column in W/e Aust)and I had her navigating site over the phone and laughing over some of the posts). Then Scorp mother of Aqua daughter’s close friend (Cap Comedian) rang and we had a really in depth amazing talk for over an hour. Have known her since our daughters’ were 4 but she’s extremely self-contained and hard to read. We just are so much on the same level on everything, truly gratified with life today.

Also took some great photos of the kids this weekend. Radiating and glowing feel good stuff. It must be transitting Venus and Mars in Toro in my third where Jupiter resides :-)
