Full on go-carting aged 10, first female to win an IndyCar race & apparently now being groomed as first woman in Formula 1 series (U.S.), Danica Patrick is – ta-dah! – an Aries. And Aries IS so the sign I connect with lady-Revheads.
She’s Aries, Moon-in-Aries trined by Uranus in Saggo and opposite (interesting, this) Mars in Libra. Mercury in Pisces & Venus in Aquarius so genuinely not giving a toss about all the criticism she cops from guys who say women should not be professional speed racers. Her tres Ramzilla personal philosophy: “Drive like you have something to prove every time.”
Lady Revheads, own up – what’s your astro-guff?

I do not consider myself a true-rev-head – hate watching car races – too noisy, crowded, smelly etc etc BUT I do love driving the fire-trucks, speshly priority 1 and I get very excited when I see a METRO red fire-truck and love talking about fire trucks to other firies…. I speshly love wearing sparkly pink nail polish, lip-gloss and pink sunglasses when driving when I’m driving the 13 tonne pumper – not sure what that means…:)
-
A member of my witches group is definitely obssessed with cars. Her red monaro is in cherry condition, she works for a bearings company…. she starts talking cars and the rest of us just glaze over. her enthusiasm is amazing to watch though. When she split from her husband he got the house she got the car.
she is Sun Aquarian. Very fiery energy though.
-
The hottest car I’ve seen lately is a 65 Mustang Conv. in mint condition. The lady who owns it wears pretty 60’s style frocks is about 35, and has a subtle vamp deep south look. She once came to my door (carrying a sun umbrella), she is a Jehovas Witness and her husband is the local leader of the JW community.
Interesting, I’d say she was a scorp for sure.
If I see her under the car doing repairs one day, or bent over the bonnet fiddling with one of the pistons, I’ll make sure I look away quickly, don’t want to burn in hell or anything.-
One of my patients has a Cobra convert (more horse power than the reg. Mustang I guess? Can’t keep it all straight as he guy talkin’ to me when I’m massagin’!)….Forget which year but red and really a beaut. He’s fifty and has a cute little blonde wife too. Told him he’s all set then for he mid-life…
He’s a Libra, Scorpio Moon. I checked because he’s super good looking but I remain totally profess…Besides he’s a conservative bible thumper and likes Sarah Palin….we would never get along

Aries definitely. My Taurus sun/Aries rising and venus/Sagg moon sister had her first car at 17 or 18 – a hotted up ford escort lol, her bf at the time was bogan. Now she has evolved to the Italian sports car (black) but she has had a series of red cars over the years. Wouldn’t call her a rev head per se but cars always impt to her. I have Taurus Jupiter in the third have always had a good relationship with cars; favourite would have to be the silver Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Quatro sports bought just before my daughter started school. Loved driving that car but v expensive upkeep. Now I’m a very practical slate blue/grey 7 seater with street legal tinted windows. First automatic I’ve ever driven and has armrests! So comfy and sedate almost, slip around unnoticed. Lovely
-
I wouldn’t call myself a rev head by any stretch, but oh, do I love the idea of the car – the freedom, the ability to go anywhere, to just hit the road and drive. Pitched a huge tanty on holiday when we hired a moke since I canlt drive manual . The fact we were on an island and there was nowhere to really drive was irrelevant. I hate not being in the driver’s seat. Aqua sun in the 9th – a private jet, flying saucer or magic carpet would be event better than a car!
So while I agree Aires makes the best rev head, I think Sags would have deep love for the car as a chariot, a noble steed and Taurus would get unreasonably excited about something big and slow and stately that got one from a to b in style and just drove over any obstacle (a rolls? or a tank perhpas? *LOL*)
-
“and Taurus would get unreasonably excited about something big and slow and stately that got one from a to b in style and just drove over any obstacle”
Champers Bearer, Taurus hb of abovementioned Taurus with multiple Aries sister has just bought a Toyota Landcruiser Sahara – I mean have you seen the size of those things, full on bull bars, all the bells and whistles with interior luxe leather etc. They do (in his defence) drive to the country a lot to visit friends on a property. Good description.

Generally, I watch my speed driving around town (Aries Sun and Mars on the AC…sounds almost impossible, eh?)
One time though, after I’d gotten my Honda, I drove to a boyfriend’s and went 100 miles an hour on the freeway nearly the whole way (hour drive). Was a blast and could not believe my good fortune when I came up behind two CHP’s (Calif. Hwy Patrol) cars. They were going 95.
Don’t do that now though…Just chill along and besides the fwy out here in the desert is 70 mil per hour which is fast enough for me.
Nat, I had a ‘67 Ford Falcon (was/is your Falcon a Ford or is the XK exclusively Aussie?), but totalled it at 16 yrs. old…
When I had a VW I could not afford the repair, so I bought the new thermostat for the radiator, got under the car and drained the radiator and put the new thermostat in myself. And changed my own headlight and of course changed my own tires. The time my muffler was held up with rope though and I had to lay in the parking lot at the grocery store to tigthen it is where I eventually drew the line…
Always said that’s what I missed about not having a husband who took care of the cars…Now I have “AAA” for road side emergencies. Priceless but with my Honda have never used/needed it…
I adore my Honda (sorry American car makers but they do a better job )
-
p.s., cruise control keeps one out of trouble as well.
“Drive like you have something to prove everytime” ? Yikes, could be dangerous Patty but could be totally fun…

I used to race motorcycles as a hobby, but I would not consider myself a rev-head.
My guess for top spots of rev-heads:
First: Aries
2nd: Tie between Leo & Saggo
3rd: Taurus!!Every Aries I know both male and female think they are race car drivers behind the wheel on an everyday commute. The Leos and Saggos in my life actually prefer a little more “formal” circumstance to race…that is to drive out to the nearest track away from the common drivers and race each other out there. And Taurus is like a secret fiend for racing and i don’t know why. Maybe it’s just the Taureans I know. Most of them are into a special kind of racing called autocross where you race one at a time with cones. They also seem to get a lot of speeding tickets too (the ones i know)!
check out this informal study of 100,000 drivers and their zodiac signs:

That is hilarious YoftheF,
If not mostly true. Think as a Cappy Moon do like to make sure I’ll get to work in one piece and with Gem rising can multitask though biggest reason for accidents according to my traffic school teacher …lol….was “distraction!”
Quite franky, I would haul ass every chance I could but guess as an Aries I’ve grown up a bit…
-
Ever hear about the chick whose ass was so big that to haul ass she had to make two trips?
I made that joke up myself…
-
LOL Sweetpea!
-
Year of the fox,
So cool that you raced motorcycles….That takes some guts..
You know that scene in Top Gun where Tom Cruise is racing down the side of the runway and the fighter goes by?
When I think about it, forget the cars, give me a fighter jet any day…lol. My ex was an engineer on the F14 and had a Top Gun baseball cap which I lovingly wore to work out in…My Aries Dad a pilot…Don’t think cars were ever really fast enough for him either…
Whole family has tons of fire and all nuts I think…
-
@Sweetpea
Racing motorcycles was fun but i have no natural talent for it. And it’s such an expensive hobby to boot. I gave it up for rocks. Climbing rocks is much safer.
Your family likes to get it on in July-ish? =^_^= So many Ram-babies! Pilots too? I used to have these 2 neighbours down the street who are like 80 or something. fairly old. One of them is for sure an Aries and the other is suspect. They like race their riding lawn-mowers. *sweatdrop*
-
Yes, even Mom (Leo) had her pilot’s license…
And sister, Aries too….She had a Falcon first, later a stick Volvo in high school.
Guess my parents pervy in the summer time, eh?
-
Rock climbing very earthy….Some Goat in there maybe? And it only makes sense as well that earth signs would have some command of the earth element as mentioned here about the Taurus’ i.e., traveling over it, etc…Feeling the rumble of the engine…
-
No goat. Taurus is in my 6th house and I’ve a venus in virgo. That’s the only dirt in my chart.
-
Oh heavens YoftheF,
Talked to Dad tonight cuz it’s father’s day here in the U.S. He takin’ helicopter lessons now….he’s 76….
He took them once before but later, the heli he’d been trainin’ in crashed…..Took a break I guess and now back….
CrAZy about your earth girll///

ps, sorry if you not a girl…lol…

I’m a petrol head have always loved cars for as long as I can remember. I own a HSV and love, love driving her she’s not just your average V8 she’s bitchin’, gutsy, angry sounding, I often take off out to the 130km open road in her just to…… think. She’s a real spunk to lol. A real drivers car, cornering, stopping, acceleration is all very smooth it gives me joy. I’ve never been a burnout person it makes me cringe, though I’ve been known in my younger days to got to the drag track because I liked to beat the boys. I don’t watch the V8 Supercars because it’s just shite but sometimes watch the racing utes (commentary is highly entertaining). I also own a Crewman ute she’s much more slower my lounge on wheels.
I have a HR licence (heavy rigid) which I need to drive our small work truck. I’m in the process of working my way up to an articulated licence. I love trucks & utes more than cars.
-
ps Danica’s great!
I don’t have any fire in my natal chart.
-
-
Where’s RLP?
I love fast cars…. its my Aries Rising, cos the Aqua mad mother is the same, and she’s got Aries Asc too! Her work car at one point was a Holden S pack (one of those bright green ones a few years ago…) none of us ever got a speeding ticket in it, cos we KNEW we had the grunt for anything. When she got down graded by dopey office politics back to an acclaim, none of us could handle it, and we all got busted hammering it. Only just now working back up to full points!
However for years my pride and joy was an ‘85 Saab 5 Door Coupe – low slung sports car, with grunt. I loved that car, but it did finally get too expensive to maintain, esp as it was one of the rare ones built in the US for some reason, and a b*tch to get parts for. My mechanic is still traumatised…..
I am now car-less, and hire one when neccessary, and have worked out that getting a luxury car for those excursions is well worth it – last week it was an XR6 – I’m not a ford girl, but it was fun!-
postmodscorp – I’m a Ford girl for classics. An XY Ute eh? But am Holden Girl for current offerings. Any HSV Ute snaps my attention immediately, Hot!!
xox-
I like the Valiants and Dodges – I learnt to drive manual in a ‘74 Dodge ute, standard H column shift, and no hydraulic clutch in the QEII!! I swore I’d broken my foot after the first lesson!
I turned up to a babysitting job in the Ute one time, and the family were a bit nonplussed I wasn’t in my Saab – as the dad said to the mum – well, she must be one tough b*tch! I laughed when told that!!
But as my dad said, if you can drive and reverse park this, you can drive anything – and its true! The QEII is definately a Driving Experience…
As for HSV utes – like ‘em too. The best one I ever saw was a big black beastie, all the extra’s + a miniture pug in the tray yapping its demented head off as it tried to see over the side! Funniest sight I ever did see.-
postmodern scorp Loving the manual 74 dodge Ute!! Ex has 75 El Camino Ute – with the concave back window. white. 356 Chev. there’s a chick who’s got the better Ute than mine near here. a HiLUX extra cab Ute (2 doors 4 seats) lowered to be LoLux, superbly pimped & rebadged Lexus – her plates – LexLux. She’s cute, but not very personable.
mine’s cute tho. no tail gate.
the Mexican Low Rider!

Guilty. I’m an Aries who is an offensive driver (because if you’re on the defense, it’s already too late) with three speeding tickets in five years. And I enjoy watching motorsports.
My mother, a Leo, taught me to drive in her image, so I come by my speed demon-ness honestly.
-
Similar Nic,
My Mom (doube Leo) could down shift the 1960ish Ford Galaxy 500 (if she recalls the car type properly) without using the clutch because according to her it had a “”synchro mesh gear”…lol
In our neighborhood she was famous for that…

-
Me, Libra, Aqua-asc, automotive engineer, involved in motorsport since age 16, motorcycling is meditation.
Nothing in Aries (only IC). No revheads in family history.
Yeah, work that one out….-
My brother MMIL is a Libra Sun, Sagg Moon…Absolute speed freak and maniac (terminal road rage at times too…) but he’s one of the few people I’ve ever trusted to go really fast with in his hot rods growing up…He made his Ford Falcon’s custom to his very precise spec’s and they were very fast indeeed…
One time he got pulled over for speeding and weaving in and out of traffic. He would have gotten a ticket for wreckless driving besides the speeding but was using his blinker!!
-
woohoo! another Libra who likes motorcycles! reprezent!
What kind of bike do you have?
-
YOF
Soz for late reply – word my comrade!
CBR600RR, 2004. You?
-
-
Uranus conjunct Libra sun here which indicates erratic and / or reckless driving in the native apparently – like bikes and going FAST too. Cars are good when it’s raining otherwise not into them at all.
-
-
i am a massive revhead but not for the mt panorama ford v holden crap, more of a Formula 1 fan (the POWER!!), love machinery, sports cars, getting in front, big throaty engines, about to get motorbike licence, bla bla.
I think its my venus in aries. naturally if some dick told me women shouldn’t be doing things like that, i would only consider it motivation…..to kick his ass -
Not sure about the rest of his chart, but my 60 year old pisces father is a race car driver… sorry, the terminology isn’t right, he races go carts or super carts or um… whatever they’re called. (I was terrible pit crew as his only daughter!) He still comes in at third or forth in annual Qld race meets, which is amazing considering he is racing 20 something year old men with quicker reflexes and half his body weight. He tried and tried and tried my whole life to get me to be a rev head like him, and now at 30 I still don’t even drive, and have no interest in mechanics at all. I’m a scorp w leo moon and toro asc.
-
Moi sun conjunct venus in Aries. Mars trine Uranus (dunno what the means but Mystic did ask someone above).
I drive an old bombarella but push her to the limit, take risks, race people all the time, consider the speed limit something not to go under rather than something not to go over. I am an agro impatient dickhead on the road and know i shouldn’t be proud of it but i am. I have gotten myself in trouble more than once by aggravating road ragers. I behave in a similar way on the bicycle in city traffic.
I drive a manual, of course, and love it when i beat boys on the road. And of course, I am an excellent driver
Year of the fox is onto it: “Every Aries I know both male and female think they are race car drivers behind the wheel on an everyday commute.”
-
Re Aries drivers : It’s funny, but i really trust them to drive though!
-
-
from the ‘69 Torana coupe to the current Mexican Lowrider, vehicles can be SO satisfying!! Really.
xox -
I read the title, and just KNEW Lady Revheads were Aries!! I’m not a lead foot at all, but I have extraordinarily bad luck with speeding fines, being caught whilst talking on mobile, parking tickets, losing licence…Moon in Aries. REALLY trying these days to always have change for parking meters and have a beacon for school zones.
-
OMG, I was absent when this thread was posted. Am I the only Cap revhead in the world. Not into bikes but admire their beauty. My Dad had a very damaged leg from motorbike also alpha tauri but not as badly as my Dad. One brother owns 4 Harleys and the other a Jap so Pearl Harbour happens often on the deck. I’ve never owned an automatic in my life and never will. If I win the 90 mil on Tuesday I’m buying a 65 mustang.
-
67 Mustang Spesh???
it’s all in the tail light detail. 64 & 65 look similar, then if you run yr eye over the 67. coupe. it’s one short of Steve McQueen’s Bullet – same car but fatter & fastback. Like my Newsworthy Fashion Designer neighbour favours. he also had the DB9 the sait drove…..but fat muscle cars win outright huh??SPESH you also missed the bit where I wave YOU front of Angus ACDC tix at you ….dancing 1 flannie back, 2 Jim Beams to the right…..of Angus! that’s when we knew you were M.I.A xox
