Holy hell, maybe I am overdoing the Artemesia Vulgaris (Mugwort aka Moxa, see my post on it here) …The psychic insights evoked by my dreams are just SO intense. I mean, useful, for sure. But one wakes up with a w.t.f smirk of bewilderment in the morning, post dreaming.

I seriously lucid-dreamed that i was flying at night over dark green bushland and into a headwind. I was totally trying to make for some lights in the distance where i felt it would be safe to land & not let the winds force me down into this forest in a storm. Even though it was stressy, i was thinking ‘wow, isn’t flying by broomstick SO simple & convenient…’

Yes, On a Broomstick. I hardly ever have lucid flying dreams but they are incredible…How common ARE they? I mean the ones where it feels like you totally are out there, flying about & you have to concentrate when you come swooping to land on a tree or something?  A few years ago, when I had Neptune on my Ascendant, I had then all the time & fantastical visions too. There is nothing so strong as a Neptune transit to hype your dreams, psychic powers and other-worldly awareness.

If you are BORN with Neptune conjoined to the Sun, Moon, personal planet or Ascendent you’ve got a headstart so far as telepathy et al is concerned. You have only to discover your personal gift and not piss it away, lol.

Anyway, my latest lucid dreaming was with just my Mugwort, Lavender & Hops dream pillow – $4 from eBay, awesome bargain here.  Okay and a pinch of mugwort in my mint tea. Anyway, dream pillows are easy to buy online – just get one with organic herbs from someone who seems to love what they are doing.

There was a period in time when I had very lucid dreams but that was quite some time ago. I sort of miss it. Also, I have Neptune conjunct Sun & trine Ascendant natally. People tell me all the time that the words out of my mouth were what they were just thinking 2.5 seconds beforehand. Spooky.

Lucid dreams for me and my family for some reason come naturally…
does everyone remember my post like 2 montrhs ago about my family and how we all had dreaqms about past loved ones and tunnels – OMG IT WAS AMAZING!
last night actually i had a dream that i was walking around in circles for like ages! and once again — AND I NEED HELP FROM THE TAROT READERS HERE – a 6 of dimond
    hmmm
    it was almost sureal —–
Mystic as far as flying dreams go, i’ve only experienced one in which i just saw myself lying in bed…
My mother, on the other hand has them like once a month! they sound amazing!
so i’d say there fairly common..

Hi Matt, I’ll get it right this time. (I googled) The diamonds suit equals the pentacles/coins suit, so you have 6 of pentacles. I’m not a tarot reader so perhaps someone else can help. Cheshire Cap is MIA. Prowln?

Walking in circles could be frustrating, feeling like you’re not getting anywhere. Sixes apparently are a card of balance and six of pentacles is about sharing resources, either giving to someone or receiving.

Have fun at Pink! Lucky duck.

Matt, with the help form Uber’s conversion of Diamonds to Pentacles, I looked up the meaning of 6 of Pentacles by Juliet Shaman-Burke. It hink you might like it. There is more detailed meaning aswell, let me know if you want it.

“Help from a generous friend or employer, a situation in which there is money 0r good fortune to be shared”

Matt the dream and the card is reminding you that there is a universal flow to all life that is love. Here it advises you, via the 6 pentacles card, to give of yourself generously in the material realm. This does not have to be actual giving of money – although if you are affluent it can be – but it can be giving service, friendship, love, attention, time to those about you. By doing this you place yourself in the great flow which is symbolised for you as walking in the circle, and as you give, so you shall in turn receive.

i have neptune conjunct my sun as well, and the flying dreams are fairly regular- and my changing levels of flying ability are totally indicative of how my own life is going. so there i am, usually trying to fly like superman (no broom stick for me! might be less tiring on my arms though). and sometimes its like i dont get enough rev up and i keep kind of coming back down to the ground. and other times its quite easy. but like you said mystic, yes, am totally ‘there’, quite concious of my thoughts as i’m maneuvering etc. re: the telepathy, its taken me a long time to accept that sometimes i ‘know’ things about people/events without being told, because it can be tricky to separate out imagination/fears from knowing sometimes. even now though, i dont play around with it, or conciously seek it out. otherwise id walk around like all my feelers were out 24/7- too much. and i stay away from anything that may ‘heighten’ it! i just dont need it! i do as many grounding things as i can. -ironic considering we are discussing ‘flying’ in dreams! :)

Had strange experience last night, of now that I think of it was probably a dream, except I’d had so much trouble getting back to sleep I kept thinking it was my imagination just zipping about to entertain me and to interrupt my thoughts which previously involved lying there going argh it’s cold…I want sleep why can’t I sleep on a loop.

Now all I can remember was there a lot of men and that I was amused.

haven’t had a flying dream for a while, used to have one’s where I was in a chair & having to hold on under my seat to lean in to left to turn etc

Last night I dreamt I was driving up a steep hill, it became 90 degrees & I was close to the top & realising oh my god I might not make it as the car was slowing down & I put my foot on the accelerator & WILLED my car to the top as I thought it was going to come to a halt & fall backwards & somehow the car made it to the top & over on to flat road. Woke up the next minute & realised that I’ve had these dreams a lot lately, of driving up such a steep hill

Glad I made it as I am sure as hell not falling back into the old ways! I’m forging on ahead into the new

I have had two astral ‘flying’ dreams in my life. The first I didn’t make it out of the bedroom. After an entire night of sleeplessness I finally found myself hovering up near the ceiling, holding my breath. Thought that if I exhaled I’d sink. I did exhale and didn’t sink. Had to get up early so didn’t go anywhere. The landing back in my body was indescribably soft. There were kids in the house probably flying around too. Apparently that can help.

Second flying dream many years later and I find myself standing on my verandah flapping my arms, trying to take off. No, no thinks I, just ‘think’ ‘Up’. And I did and up I went very rapidly into the sky directly above my little brown house that I could make out way below. Then the cat woke me up, jumping in the window. Oh well.

I realised just how tied up I was in my body and how over-analytical my mind. When I was looking down at the house from about 300 feet up in the dark, I thought. How is that I can see it? What am I looking at it with? As my eyes are back in bed. Also the flapping arms thing trying to take off. D’uh! I think you have to feel 100% safe to leave your body and living alone can turn you into a very light sleeper and unconsciously at least, anyway, en guarde!

oh Mystic, thank you for posting the worst witch image!

Those books were my FAVOURITE books growing up, also meg and mog. I was both fascinated and completely scared by witches.

btw – several of my great great aunts/gradmothers were supposed to be witches.

Neptune in Scorp conjoins my Sun. Have had flying and lucid dreams all my life.
The first one i ever had was around 10–12 years old and i hovered about a metre off the ground around my house, then at 21 had my first out of body experience during an afternoon nap.
I flew up towards the ceiling and was exploring the things on top of the wardrobe and tried to push some items onto the floor to prove to myself that i had been up there but i couldn’t do it and then as soon as i wondered how the hell i was going to get back into my body i was straight back and woke up. Since then it’s been lots of flying at night above medium sized buildings and forests and places i don’t recognise. I just use my arms to lift myself into the air. It’s a bit of a struggle at times to maintain a consistent speed or height.

The furthest i’ve flown is from Sydney to Canberra standing up on a thin wooden plank, way up in the sky. It was terrifying. I woke up thinking “damn, of all the places to visit, why the hell did it have to be boring Canberra!!”

Haven’t had a flying dream for while. They’re so much fun.

I’ve been looking for that “psychic talent” for 40+ years:

    13.10.1951, 2:43pm EST, 77W57, 34N14 (yep, it’s a doozie)

No fudging here, frightfans…I tracked down the doc & got damn near a deathbed confirmation

Any suggestions? [I'm a big fan of lucid dreaming, although I can count only 5 or less, total...but I just discovered mugwort]
